You order at the counter and have to seat yourself, but the staff is super friendly, and they do bring the food to your table and bus the table afterwards. We arrived to a long line to order, but the line moved quickly, and the food came out very quickly. At the same time, there was no push for us to clear out quickly, so we were able to relax to enjoy our breakfast. I had the eggstreme biscuits with chicken tenders added on. The biscuits were fluffy despite being drenched in the spicy sausage gravy and topped with two eggs (I went with easy over). The chicken tenders were juicy and yet stayed crispy in the gravy. My meal was huge, and I shouldn't have finished it, but I couldn't help myself. It was that good. I also had a cold brew, which was delicious, especially when made up with the maple sweetener and a splash of cream. My kids enjoyed their kids meals, and my husband enjoyed his chicken biscuit and half waffle. I've been coming to this Maple Street biscuit company for ages. This was the first one I ever went to as it is the closest one to my house. The biggest problem with this location is the small parking lot. It can get very busy on a weekend morning. But the staff is friendly and usually quite efficient once you find a parking spot. I really like the food here. The very first thing I ever ate here was the farmer and it has always been my go to. It is a biscuit with fried chicken cheese, bacon, and apple butter. I love the sweet, salty, and savory altogether. The five and Dime is another hit and I think their signature sandwich. It is like the farmer but instead of apple butter it has gravy and it also has an egg. They also have some pretty good waffles, which is what I get for my kid when I take him here. Their tea and coffee selection is robust. The only downside is that as they have gotten bigger and they have lost some of their personal touches. They used to ask me funny questions and would use that to help find you to give you your order. They might ask who your favorite superhero was and call you that way. We don't get to visit Maple Street very often as we don't live near any location but have found that no matter the location it has never been a poor experience. On this visit I found staff to be extremely friendly and helpful and the food delicious. We were a group of 7 friends who came in shortly after 7 am so the dining room was fairly quiet, my party ordered a five & dime, power bowl and 3 pack of bonuts (they gave us 4 nice surprise). Everything was cooked fresh and tasted great. I did expect my power bowl to be a little bigger but it was a perfect sized serving. My husband loved his Five & Dime and the bonuts with caramel sauce were tasty. The rest of our group all enjoyed their selections. This location has recently changed from self cleaning if your table to staff clean up which is also nice because you can enjoy some conversation after eating without dirty dishes in front of you and it gives a more sit down restaurant feel. For drinks my husband had a coffee and I had a chai latte both of which had nice flavors. All and all a very positive experience and I look forward to coming in again. read more

My family and I came here during our visit to Orlando because it had so many reviews. We wanted to try a variety of dishes but ended up ordering too much because the biscuits were really heavy. Everything was good but they didn't amaze me. I guess with all the reviews, I was expecting these to be the best biscuits I've ever had. They were good but didn't blow my mind. Sunday morning, on our way back home from our Orlando weekend, we needed a quick place to get breakfast, and one that allowed dogs. Maple Street Biscuit Company was on our way with good reviews on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. Easy parking, outdoor seating, some even with umbrellas or roofed to get away from the hot sun. Enough space to have our dog comfortably and not bother other people. The line to order was long, but don't worry, they move fast! In no time I was ordering, and almost as quick our food came out. Some items took a bit longer, like my latte, which honestly thought would come first, but not too long of a wait for it. They have biscuits, bowls, sandwiches, grits, and more. The grits were delicious. The chix strips and waffles were good but, will say one of the strips was mostly batter and very little meat. Thankfully I was full but for someone looking for a real full meal, they would have been disappointed. The waffles were very well done though. At first the pictures weren't convincing of the food in the establishment. I was wrong. The food is amazing, I got orange juice, chicken and waffles, and the smash browns. Let's start with the OJ, delicious fresh and sweet (not too sweet either). Chix and waffles was amazing the waffles a 11/10 light and fluffy with the butter was rich and added flavor, i would definitely recommend. The chicken was very flavorful and very well seasoned. To the left of the picture is the biscuits delicious too, comes with jam. The smash browns were goood very light and bite size dipped them in bbq and was delicious. Lastly, the service was good nothing major you just go up order and bring it to your table easy. I love the place seems very family friendly with big tables for big parties with outside seating. I was really looking forward to visiting this establishment as I am a lover of breakfast and this place had excellent reviews. Unfortunately, I believe my party of six may have caught them on a bad day. I can't remember the exact name of my meal however I do know that I got the scrambled eggs, biscuit, bacon, and the hash brown (it's a meal). As well as the cinnamon roll biscuit on the side. The two things that I loved were the biscuit and the hash brown. Despite the biscuit being lukewarm, it was very fluffy and delicious so I'm going to give it points for that. The croquettes were potatoes with green onion. They were cooked to perfection perfectly crispy on the outside, but still fluffy and seasoned on the inside. They were a five out of five. The bacon tasted as if they cooked it 30 minutes prior and just let it sit under a warm warmer. The same goes for the eggs. I actually could not eat the eggs because they were cold and were the texture of the free eggs you get at a hotel breakfast. Three people out of my party of six had to send their food back because it was not hot. I will say staff was very nice about it but when you order food, it should be hot. The chai latte that I ordered. Was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were also very good. I did not order them but someone in my party did and of course I tasted them. The cinnamon roll biscuit was just OK. It wasn't terrible and it wasn't great. Again, the service was excellent. Everyone was very kind, but I can't say this is a restaurant that I HAD to visit again. Would I swing by if I was in the area possibly; probably just to get a biscuit. Always a great stop at Maple street. Clearly the price increases across the industry hit MSBC too, my breakfast ended up costing over $20, but it is what it is. One note of caution - if they ask to add cheese to your eggs make sure to ask about the upcharge. I think I was charged nearly $3 just to throw some cheese in my scrambled eggs which, had I known, I probably would have passed on. Otherwise all was super delicious! Today was for great outside seating. I order Retro plate again. Their hash browns are not your normal. They have onions, flour & butter fried crispy so good! And the jam for your biscuit is also yummy. My husband ordered the Farmer. Their hash browns fried chicken and biscuit was great but he did not care for the combination of cheddar cheese, bacon, and sweet apple butter. The iced cinnamon biscuits are always good. Based on all the great reviews, we had to grab breakfast at Maple Street Biscuit Company--and it absolutely lived up to the hype. When we walked in, I didn't realize you order at the counter, grab a number, and then sit down. It was packed, and honestly everything on the menu looked so good that none of us could decide what we wanted. We ended up just picking a few things to start and hoped for the best. Also--this place is super cool. The vibe/ambience was perfect, and I loved that they have outdoor seating. It feels like the kind of spot you could hang out with friends or family, or just grab a quick bite and still enjoy the atmosphere. I met a friend and colleague here for brunch because it's close to the office buildings. Although it is a popular location, meaning it's busy with customers ranging from office people to tourists to locals, we found a clean place to sit and it wasn't too disruptive for us to chat. Decided we wanted some lunch after landing in Orlando so we made our way from our hotel to Maple Street Biscuit Company to check out something different. Apparently Orlando is a bit of a coffee desert and we were looking for a place with some decent coffee and the reviews were positive in the coffee column. Two of us opted for the iced maple latte with oat milk and the drink hit the spot. It was probably the highlight to the meal. I opted for the breakfast tacos with bacon which came with egg, bacon, cheese and potatoes within the tacos. Unfortunately, my tacos didn't come out with the eggs. I brought them back to the counter and my plate was taken and a server grabbed two egg patties and threw them on the top of the tacos rather than making fresh tacos. Doing this in plain view was pretty appalling and left the experience an overall negative. I also ordered a side biscuit because the name of the place would lead you to believe the biscuits were going to be a feature but the biscuit was pretty darn bland and left a lot to be desired. Two others had breakfast sandwiches on biscuits which were just okay and a chicken and waffles order was noted to be good but wouldn't make you rush back to the restaurant anytime soon. read more

I waited at the front counter for 10 minutes to get my order taken while there were maybe 10 people in the restaurant, 5 of them employees. The quality of the food has really gone downhill. The sticky maple is my favorite, but they don't even give you enough syrup to cover the plate. The hash browns were cold and the tacos were meh. The dirty dish containers smelled, and while empty had a ton of leftover food and ketchup in them. This place used to be on point... now it's just going to fade away. My other kid wasn't hungry. I really enjoyed the Eggstream Biscuits & Gravy. The eggs were salted and peppered, so not just plain eggs and I appreciated that. The gravy had the right amount of heat and great flavor. There were some pieces of sausage in it, but I wouldn't have complained had it had more sausage. The biscuits, which I could see them making from scratch in the kitchen, were substantial without being too dense. A great meal overall.
