At first the pictures weren't convincing of the food in the establishment. I was wrong. The food is amazing, I got orange juice, chicken and waffles, and the smash browns. Let's start with the OJ, delicious fresh and sweet (not too sweet either). Chix and waffles was amazing the waffles a 11/10 light and fluffy with the butter was rich and added flavor, i would definitely recommend. The chicken was very flavorful and very well seasoned. To the left of the picture is the biscuits delicious too, comes with jam. The smash browns were goood very light and bite size dipped them in bbq and was delicious. Lastly, the service was good nothing major you just go up order and bring it to your table easy. I love the place seems very family friendly with big tables for big parties with outside seating. Sunday morning, on our way back home from our Orlando weekend, we needed a quick place to get breakfast, and one that allowed dogs. Maple Street Biscuit Company was on our way with good reviews on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. Easy parking, outdoor seating, some even with umbrellas or roofed to get away from the hot sun. Enough space to have our dog comfortably and not bother other people. The line to order was long, but don't worry, they move fast! In no time I was ordering, and almost as quick our food came out. Some items took a bit longer, like my latte, which honestly thought would come first, but not too long of a wait for it. They have biscuits, bowls, sandwiches, grits, and more. The grits were delicious. The chix strips and waffles were good but, will say one of the strips was mostly batter and very little meat. Thankfully I was full but for someone looking for a real full meal, they would have been disappointed. The waffles were very well done though. Unfortunately, I believe my party of six may have caught them on a bad day. I can't remember the exact name of my meal however I do know that I got the scrambled eggs, biscuit, bacon, and the hash brown (it's a meal). As well as the cinnamon roll biscuit on the side. The croquettes were potatoes with green onion. They were cooked to perfection perfectly crispy on the outside, but still fluffy and seasoned on the inside. They were a five out of five. The bacon tasted as if they cooked it 30 minutes prior and just let it sit under a warm warmer. The same goes for the eggs. I actually could not eat the eggs because they were cold and were the texture of the free eggs you get at a hotel breakfast. Three people out of my party of six had to send their food back because it was not hot. I will say staff was very nice about it but when you order food, it should be hot. The chai latte that I ordered. Was delicious. The fried green tomatoes were also very good. I did not order them but someone in my party did and of course I tasted them. The cinnamon roll biscuit was just OK. It wasn't terrible and it wasn't great. Again, the service was excellent. Everyone was very kind, but I can't say this is a restaurant that I HAD to visit again. Would I swing by if I was in the area possibly; probably just to get a biscuit. Always a great stop at Maple street. Clearly the price increases across the industry hit MSBC too, my breakfast ended up costing over $20, but it is what it is. One note of caution - if they ask to add cheese to your eggs make sure to ask about the upcharge. Fried green tomatoes were tasty and seasoned. The chicken and waffles were the star of the show. Very delicious nicely seasoned and the maple syrup was paired perfectly with the waffles. You can eat them alone. The hash bowl was not the best it's was very dry the seasoning was ok. It just was missing something maybe a topping or a side of salsa. The bacon bits needed something to grab it because it sat at the bottom of the bowl. The grits was very watery. It was more made like soup and the cheese did not make it thicker. Today was for great outside seating. I order Retro plate again. Their hash browns are not your normal. They have onions, flour & butter fried crispy so good! And the jam for your biscuit is also yummy. My husband ordered the Farmer. Their hash browns fried chicken and biscuit was great but he did not care for the combination of cheddar cheese, bacon, and sweet apple butter. The iced cinnamon biscuits are always good. When we walked in, I didn't realize you order at the counter, grab a number, and then sit down. This quick service restaurant is mentioned quite often in the Orlando area, being a quick place to grab breakfast. I stopped in while visiting town and was able to order a Five and dime biscuit sandwich. I will say that my meal was fantastic, a little slow but great. I would have given this shop 5 stars, but one of our meals was extremely slow in coming out, and people who arrived 10+ mins later got their ordered before we did. The staff was friendly and was able to assist us once we pointed out the mistake, but with a quick service restaurant, it's disappointing when everyone is waiting because half of the plates show up 20 minutes after the first half. I met a friend and colleague here for brunch because it's close to the office buildings. Although it is a popular location, meaning it's busy with customers ranging from office people to tourists to locals, we found a clean place to sit and it wasn't too disruptive for us to chat. They are of course known for and named after their biscuits which were heavy (in the good way, meaning that they are filling) and delicious. Decided we wanted some lunch after landing in Orlando so we made our way from our hotel to Maple Street Biscuit Company to check out something different. Apparently Orlando is a bit of a coffee desert and we were looking for a place with some decent coffee and the reviews were positive in the coffee column. Two of us opted for the iced maple latte with oat milk and the drink hit the spot. It was probably the highlight to the meal. I opted for the breakfast tacos with bacon which came with egg, bacon, cheese and potatoes within the tacos. Unfortunately, my tacos didn't come out with the eggs. I brought them back to the counter and my plate was taken and a server grabbed two egg patties and threw them on the top of the tacos rather than making fresh tacos. Doing this in plain view was pretty appalling and left the experience an overall negative. I also ordered a side biscuit because the name of the place would lead you to believe the biscuits were going to be a feature but the biscuit was pretty darn bland and left a lot to be desired. Two others had breakfast sandwiches on biscuits which were just okay and a chicken and waffles order was noted to be good but wouldn't make you rush back to the restaurant anytime soon. read more

A disaster. It took more than an hour for two biscuits, two drinks, and some cinnamon biscuits. The cinnamon biscuits came without any icing on them, so we asked them to add some and extra icing. They were still fairly dry (also who gets dry cinnamon biscuits/rolls). The sandwiches were good, not worth an hour. Everyone was pretty confused inside and just standing around waiting. The numbers made no sense, they would call 15, 2, 18, John, and whatever else. The people making the drinks were completely overwhelmed. Finally, the bathroom had pee all over the floor. I got the Eggstream Biscuits & Gravy (I went with scrambled eggs and spicy sausage gravy for my egg and gravy choices), my wife got a classic buttermilk biscuit with berry jam, and one kid got the Sweet Grace (chocolate chip waffle) without the strawberries. My other kid wasn't hungry. I really enjoyed the Eggstream Biscuits & Gravy. The eggs were salted and peppered, so not just plain eggs and I appreciated that. The gravy had the right amount of heat and great flavor. There were some pieces of sausage in it, but I wouldn't have complained had it had more sausage. The biscuits, which I could see them making from scratch in the kitchen, were substantial without being too dense. A great meal overall. I am usually not one to leave a review unless the experience favors to do so. Unfortunately Maple Street in Celebration caused me to pull out my cell phone in this case. We went on the notion of giving it a try based on a gift card provided by a friend during the holidays. After placing our order we presented the gift card which no one knew exactly how to enter it into the system. The card was continuously declined and it was concluded that we did not activate it... the card itself did not prompt for an opportunity to do so and as a purchased gift card I would only assume it was already active. We ended up paying full price for 3 biscuit sandwiches... 3 drinks and a side of FRIED Green Tomatoes. The service was prompt and the drinks were fine. The Biscuit sandwiches were nothing more than you get at any other breakfast location, to include McDonald's or Wendys... Big Maple name... very little delivery. When we received our side of Fried Green Tomatoes, they were swimming in grease... and no.... it was not from the tomato within. The Fry was so bad the Tomatoes were browned but not a crisp to any portion... it was soggy... mushy... and really bad. This was interesting find for me. I am not sure how to review this place. Being completely objective here I am not sure if I am a biscuit and gravy fan because I am a noreaster :) I would love to come again and try more things from this establishment because I think what I chose to order was a touch too spicy for the morning for me personally. I don't think that is on them, nor should I review on that aspect because I misunderstood the items I ordered were meant to be spicy. However one thing I would love to mention about this place is that the service here blew me away. The woman at the counter was sooooooo nice and I loved the service I got here for sure. If it wasn't for my friend meeting me here for brunch, I would have never discovered this restaurant. I can't get enough. The waffles melt in your mouth and the pure maple syrup is absolutely amazing, I always ask for more syrup because it's the prefect compliment to the waffles. The vanilla waffles are and the perfect compliment to the juicy fried chicken!!! Oh yea you know it's good when they use pure Grade A maple syrup from third generation Bissel Farms. Smooth like butter . Absolutely the best waffles ever! I've also tried the squawking goat chicken biscuit and it was delicious too! It's definitely a southern environment. You often see the owner coming around offering southern hospitality to those dining in or picking up takeout orders. Several times that I have gone in to pick up my order I have been offered a beverage or biscuit. When the smashed browns came out the manager took a plate over to a table to try. I got the Five & Dime to-go. The to-go container separated the biscuit sandwich from the gravy which I appreciated so the sandwich wouldn't get soggy. However, I wasn't a fan of how paste-like the gravy became. It was nice in flavor though with chunks of sausage and a bit of a spicy kick. The biscuit sandwich itself was pretty good. The biscuit was buttery and the fried chicken was still crispy and not dry. I also did not like how the egg yolk was cooked, it should've been runny. I guess I would need to eat it at the restaurant for the most optimal experience, but the pasty gravy really through me off. Other than the food, the service was pretty good. At arrival, about 4-5 ladies behind ordering counter are chitchatting not even noticing a customer in front of them.
