I called ahead to order the steak, egg, and cheese sandwich. When I got there the owner told me not to eat it in the car because it could be a little messy. ALWAYS amazing food and amazing owners. We have been coming since technically before they opened, like when they were still moving stuff in . Since then, we have frequented as regulars and locals. The Gelato is homemade and amazing, the cheesecakes are brilliant, so many different flavors of both! Try the creme Bru le cheese cake if you get lucky enough to still see some left when you visit. The coffees are to die for, try the white girl it's delicious! Or the grench if you're feeling not so festive! Oh and absolutely do not under any circumstances, miss out on the food!!! Outside of being the best bakery in the area, Hugh can really throw down in the kitchen, ask him for a burger and your life will be changed forever. The ox tail is absolutely amazing, and the breakfast oh dear lord the breakfast is just so so good. The quaint bakery is so nice and much more than the name states. They offer Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a small and calming atmosphere. The service is top notch and the bakery... did I say bakery is all scratch made and best you will find. After finding this gem I want to try the entire menu but that will take some time but there is an amazing variation on the menu to review in the next weeks. The owner makes every effort to provide excellent customer service. This gives the bakery a small hometown feel. They sell baked breads, coffee, numerous sweet treats and gelato. There is a small sitting area inside and out. I ordered a toasted marshmallow iced latte with oat milk and three slices of cake. One Carrot Cake and two Black Forest. They were gifts so I asked that they be packaged separately. I was interested in purchasing cookies but they require you to order them ahead of time. My son and I discovered this little gem when we first moved to the area. We both have a sweet tooth, so we wanted to check out all of the treats. From the moment we walked in the door, they made us feel like family. I immediately knew that I wanted to get a tres leches cake. My son had too many chocolate options and Yesenia helped my son by explaining the different treats, and ultimately making his choice. Needless to say, we were hooked from the first visit, and are now regulars. Yesenia and Hugh are fantastic and treat us like lifelong friends. The treats are always fresh and delicious. The tres leches is my absolute favorite and my son's is the Looney Toons chocolate dessert. I recently tried the tiramisu and it's also delicious! Four Palates is located in a cute shopping area surrounded by great local restaurants (the greek place just down the way is wonderful too). I ordered a dairy-free cake for a family allergy all the way from California before my visit to Florida and Hugh and his staff were amazing ! I asked for a very specific cake that you can't find many places and he did over and above what he told me he would do and produced a very great tasting cake at a minimal cost. I would use him again and again and again if I lived in the area. We ordered the cake but also while we were in the shop we ordered the canolis and a super large layer chocolate cake piece and everything that we had from that bakery was amazing. Overall a great experience. Staff and service were wonderful. Answered any questions we had and offered a sample of some of their more popular items. Food-wise, almost everything here was a hit. The guava and cheese pastry was the highlight, followed by really good chocolate desserts such as the cake, moose, and ganache. The big downside was the lemon cake. Now I understand why they kept it off to the side and not prominently featured like the other desserts. It had hardly any lemon flavor and was incredibly dry. When we went to pick it up the owner was honest that he had accidentally used a chocolate Nutella filling and needed to make a brand new cake.
