This place is just awesome. The only thing they could do better would be to add bottomless mimosas...but then we'd never get a seat. For a casual breakfast with family or friends, Keke's Breakfast Cafe is just perfect and it's no wonder they have so many locations in the Bay Area. My best friend and I visited this Lutz (bordered by Land oLakes) location with my toddler this past Sunday and had a great experience. We didn't have to wait for a table at all (we arrived around 10:30) and we were greeted and served promptly by our friendly server. I had a large orange juice and it was as delicious as fresh squeezed OJ should be. My eggs were cooked perfectly to order (fried) and the waffle came with a side of whipped cream that could almost be a meal in and of itself. I ordered the combination breakfast (the best deal IMO) with two fried eggs, sausage, bacon, and a waffle. The server let me split my combo order in a way that allowed me to have bacon AND sausage links (2 of each). I really like that they have the calorie counts on the menu because it made my choice of a waffle over French toast so much easier. For those interested, the waffle was 210 calories (not counting syrup or whipped cream of course) while the French toast was well over 600 calories. My toddler didn't touch anything on the table except for OJ, but the short stack and fruit he was served was more than adequate for any non-picky eater. Today I ordered eggs Benedict with a pancake. when the order came out the eggs were over done and ask to have them redone. The server said he would take them to the manager and I waited 10 minutes before asking the server what was going on and requesting to see the manager. I believe his name is Shawn When he arrived he showed little concern and simply offered to get my check for me so that I can pay for partial order that I had received. Was reading reviews and decided to try. I'm from Atlanta so Chicken and Waffles are a big thing. First of all the chicken tenders were like the cheap chicken you buy in a bag and pre heat for children. And the waffle was extra hard. I didn't even eat any of it because it just turned me off. My husband and I ended up at Keke's after a little wait one Saturday morning because they were the only breakfast spot near us without a long wait. Long story short, we probably won't be back to this location. Took 10 minutes for someone to get our drink order. We were trying to be healthy and ordered the lighter calorie items from the menu, but they came out very greasy. The side of potatoes were bland and coated in grease and we found a random piece of bacon bit in the potatoes and we do not eat pork. The egg white wrap with chicken dripped grease as you bit into it. The coffee was very watery. Pros: the side of fruit was fresh and sweet, my egg white omelete was not greasy and tasted good, and our server was apologetic for forgetting about us. read more

What a great breakfast spot! The menu has plenty of appealing options including pancakes, fresh toast, waffles, omelettes and breakfast combos. The service is quick and the food was delicious! Everyone in my party left stuffed and very happy. Ordered: Build your own vegetable omelette ($12.79)- my omelette was chock full of broccoli, mushrooms, tomato and onion. I asked for cheddar cheese instead of white American. It was delicious! It came with wheat toast and home fries. This restaurant is a good breakfast/brunch alternative. You may need to wait a little on weekends but that seems to be the normal for this type of places. This is our favorite place to come for breakfast. The restaurant is very clean, plenty of seating, the staff are prompt and the menu has a nice selection of food. We have tried many items off the menu and all of it was very good. The pancakes are large and most likely the stack of three will be way too much but you can get just one. I get two with a side of sausage and can eat most of it. The stuffed French toast is also very good, with my personal favorite being the one with blueberries. I enjoy going here to catch up with friends in the mornings after the kids are at school. During the week there is almost never a wait. They have plenty of indoor seating, but no outdoor seating. The food is prepared and served pretty fast compared to other breakfast places in the area. The blueberry pancakes are delicious and so thick that the blueberries are completely incased in the pancakes. This meal is so large that I ate it for breakfast for three days:). What can I say, can't beat Keke's! It was definitely worth the trip and the little over 30 minute wait. Again, love the open kitchen concept so you can see what's going on in the kitchen and the orders getting grabbed up by the wait staff. This restaurant is super busy especially on Father's Day and definitely a keeper! The pancakes were fluffy yet little crisps on the edges and buttery. Perfect comfort food. The coffee was not acidic and tasted freshly ground. The home fries are not the processed kind, it's the homemade sliced red small potatoes seasoned perfectly! Greek Omelette- again delicious that I ate all of it and perfect for a low carb diet. The meals we got were under $11 per plate and large portions to boot. Our experience was lovely service with the hostess/host and waitress. The bus-girl is on point with picking up after you (keeping the tables clean) and our waitress made sure we did not go low or run out of our fresh cup of coffee. The bathrooms were spotless which I've learned can tell you a lot on how the rest especially the kitchen is kept clean. I am a normal woman, with no history of drugs, alcohol or smoking dressed in running slacks, t shirt and shacket.. But in the interest of money, they ignored me as I was just one person and not 6. When I finally got someone to address me, and grabbed my order I expected it to be correct. They forgot my whipped cream which they charged for, and the pancake was not cooked. They didn't have decent syrups for 40 dollars. The traditional HFCS poison you get at a Denny's. I guess they didn't like the review I posted on Google Maps because they took it off shortly after.
