I was truly impressed with this place. Food presentation exceeded my expectations. This place has an actual chef working back their not someone who did "on the job training" to heat up food. The display was perfect as you can reference pictures I posted. The taste and quality of product was above standard. The service experience excellent our waiter was fun he made cute comments or jokes and engaged us while assisting us with the extensive menu options. And the manager walked through and acknowledged us with each encounter thank us for coming in. Making himself available and present for any situation. I have eaten at a lot of places since moving to the area in August, this was by far the cleanest, newest, most diverse that I have found thus far. The Menu is awesome with pretty much anything you want from Eggs, Omelets, Pancakes- The Best!!, French Toast, Fresh Fruit, Sandwiches & too much to mention! When my husband gets the Fresh Fruit as a substitute, it is very Fresh and does not disappoint! When I get an Omelet, I usually ask for 2eggs instead of 3 and they are very accommodating! This is my second time here and I couldn't wait to see if this visit would live up to my previous experience and expectations. Granted I don't expect to have a great experience every time I do have that expectation for the quality and freshness of the product. The kids ordered their usual pancakes with chocolate chip and for the exception of few small pieces their gobbled up everything. Their silence lead me to believe they too enjoyed their meal. Confirmed by the smiling faces and playful interactions that followed. Unfortunately, not all was great. My wife had the home fries with cheese for the second time and was unimpressed. Not sure if it was the taste or just not her preference so I won't hold it against them. Overall another pleasant dinning experience. What can I say, can't beat Keke's! It was definitely worth the trip and the little over 30 minute wait. Again, love the open kitchen concept so you can see what's going on in the kitchen and the orders getting grabbed up by the wait staff. This restaurant is super busy especially on Father's Day and definitely a keeper! The pancakes were fluffy yet little crisps on the edges and buttery. Perfect comfort food. The coffee was not acidic and tasted freshly ground. The home fries are not the processed kind, it's the homemade sliced red small potatoes seasoned perfectly! Greek Omelette- again delicious that I ate all of it and perfect for a low carb diet. The meals we got were under $11 per plate and large portions to boot. Our experience was lovely service with the hostess/host and waitress. The bus-girl is on point with picking up after you (keeping the tables clean) and our waitress made sure we did not go low or run out of our fresh cup of coffee. The bathrooms were spotless which I've learned can tell you a lot on how the rest especially the kitchen is kept clean. Was not impressed with the food. The staff was over booked and they were doing their best but it took over 15 minutes for the waters. We came here specifically to get some healthier food before the gym. Once we got the food, it looked great but was oozing with oil and butter. We both got the healthy options, all egg whites, Greek omelet and egg white vegetable wrap. Our plates were pools of oil by the end. The potatoes tasted more of oil than potato and absolutely no salt or seasoning. The fruit was the best thing we got. Perfectly ripe sweet fruit. read more

This new Keke's is awesome! Located in the strip mall where the Lifestyles fitness is and the former Kmart in Lutz, plenty of parking . They've done a great job renovating the inside. This is my second Keke's experience, went to the first one in Carrollwood and was very impressed. They are also opening one by Usf, there's one by citrus park and in Riverview. Service was friendly, the food is fresh and delicious. I had the classic eggs Benedict and ordered hot tea which they give you a bunch of choices of tea bags. I would definitely recommend this Keke's or any of them. They have a great thing going, their menu is endless, egg dishes, waffles, pancakes, stuffed French toast, breakfast sandwiches. I have had the cream cheese stuffed French toast with blueberries as well. It was fantastic. They also have kids menus for breakfast and lunch. If you look at their menu online, they have the nutritional values of the meals too which is always helpful. Breakfast is served from 7am to 230 pm daily and lunch from 1030am to 230pm. Been to Keke's two times since it opened. It is a step above Bob Evans, Denny's, and the like but nothing out of this world. The scrambled eggs taste like they are cooked ahead of time and tossed on your plate when your main entree is ready. (Basically hotel lobby breakfast buffet quality.) The pancakes are humongous -- I couldn't even finish one -- and they are better than the waffle in my opinion. I had a pancake on my first visit and a waffle on my second. The waffle was mushy and not crunchy at all. All in all, Keke's is a decent breakfast/brunch alternative when you're sick of the Village Inn across the street and you don't feel like driving all the way down to First Watch, but it not cheap and it's nothing that will knock your socks off. read more

Decided to try this slightly new place out for breakfast one morning. I've had a couple DoorDash breakfast delivered and they were pretty tasty. So I stopped in and ordered the Eggs Benedict which was pretty decent. The smoked paprika on top made it different and delicious. My previous review on another Keke location still stands. This location seems better. They did not upcharge for special requests. Looking for a quick American breakfast/lunch spot for a reasonable price, Keke is your place. Again, it falls under the realms of breakfast chain restaurants. Service is quick and efficient, depending on the time of day and quiet frankly the day of the week. Since it's opening, it has become a staple within the community, therefore this location is very crowded on weekends, holidays etc. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about this place. I'm not sure what they did to the eggs, but they didn't appear to be poached...close, maybe sous vide, but definitely not poached. They brought the same plate back and threw some cold chocolate chips on it which took at least 15 minutes. Overall, the breakfast was quite disappointing but the lunch options seemed a bit more promising. I am sure it may be due to the fact that it is a new location and it was the weekend. I've been to this restaurant at least 15 times, but unless I have to be there with friends again I won't be back. The food is decent and the staff friendly enough, but I'm done getting gouged. This last time I told the waitress I wanted just the basic two eggs and bacon and asked if I could get fruit instead of home fries. She said I could. When I got the bill, she charged me for side orders of bacon and fruit instead of the combo. My bill with coffee should have been $13, but because she made side orders out of everything my bill was $19.23. My friend sitting next to me saw the bill and made the comment that they always do that and that he was sick of having to be on defense whenever he ordered. Apparently this is a normal practice that if you don't specifically point to things on the menu they will up-charge everything. The majority of us at the table said they had the same experiences at least once and we all decided from now on we would be meeting across the street at the Village restaurant. Bye Keke's. This place was everything. If you ever make it to Tampa you have to go to one of there locations. It was really delicious. I had the Florida waffle which was a waffle with blueberries, bananas and strawberries. It was so good and I also had the bacon and scrabble eggs. The staff was really nice. I had to update my review for one, single reason, the lighting at Kiki's. To put it simply, the lights are too bright and too in-your-face for first thing in the morning. My wife and I asked our waitress about it and were told that lots of people had made comments about how bright it is but that there were no plans to make changes. I still think the food and service at Kiki's are great but, until the lighting is updated, we will probably be going somewhere else. I would expect with the size of this location even on a busy weekend you would be seated quickly. My husband and I split two meals. It was enough food for 3 people. Bacon and tomatoe omelet came with delicious perfectly seasoned home fries and toast. For "desert" we enjoyed the blueberry stuffed French toast. For $2 extra you can add two sides. That's a bargain.
