If i could give a -5 stars i would have . Very disappointing service . I ordered a pair of socks and they sent me the wrong size inspire of the inserted bill showing the right size . When i pointed it out to them and asked them to dispatch the right size immediately because i have an upcoming event , they said they can only do so when they receive the return , all this for a mistake they committed . On top of that when i am going through the return process , they said the return needed another form that they forgot to send . So now it requires another round of trips to the UPS . Never buying from this disgusting org again that propagates itself as a veteran owned org that doesn't adhere to principles . read more

I'm so sad I found this place so late. I've been contemplating on where to buy my beret, where to buy a hat, and where I should get my uniform altered and this place had all of that. The beret I bought was already shaved, so I can skip out on the most stressful part. The hat that I wanted to buy at the bx was $21 over there but it was $14 at kellac! They also do name tapes that go on the back of the hat. Last but not least, they altered my uniform added elastics and added my operational badge and badge for $60. That is not bad at allllll. I cannot recommend this place enough. The workers here are the sweetest and they're super helpful. Get there early though because they close early but it's worth it! read more

I am mostly impressed with their service here. My friend got her ABU's tailored here and I bought a pair of black 511 shorts for work. They were cheaper here than at the BX at Lackland so I was happy about that! But the day we went the credit card machine was down so they let us pay on pickup. I went to pickup the uniforms today (since they let me just take the shorts home the other day) and since the card machine was down they took $18 off the price of my shorts. I was extremely impressed with this because they did not have to do it. Everyone there is also extremely nice and friendly and seem like they have great camaraderie within the store as well. They do not have a huge selection of items at this store but you can order them online through their website. I would definitely come back here if I need any alterations, new boots, or even just other uniform items because the service can't be beat! read more

I just picked up my OCPs and hat from Kel-lac. I decided to take them in the other day for sew down USAF/name tape/rank instead of the Velcro. I supplied the rank that was brand new in packaging (from base) with two ranks. (They only needed one but they said I could get it back when I pick it up) I made sure to tell them to use this rank as I saw they sew down the Velcro rank instead of using the regular flat rank. Fast forward to today, they used their own thick Velcro rank that was almost all solid green and looked horrible. The name tapes they made are the wrong font and spacing. They lost both the ranks I gave them. And the rank that I ended up asking to be corrected still isn't sewn down all the way. It needs to be redone. I heard great things about this place but was very disappointed with the results. I highly recommend you get the correct rank and name tapes done elsewhere. Kel-lac is great for buying items, but I recommend you stick to base for alterations. I'll update this rating if anything changes. read more

I've gotten multiple uniforms tailored and altered here and every time they are done at the time the said they would be. They do a way better job than clothing sales on base, at least in my experience. I highly recommend Kel-lac for MTI's or any military members who want to look sharp. Disappointed since they have no guns on site for sale. All guns are purchased from their distributor on line. When asked why they said because "insurance costs too much". I don't buy guns I cannot inspect first hand. Basically a tailor and seamstress shop for the Air Force people. read more

Fast turn around. Thick sowing, alignment is off on sowing. Slightly. Nice and clean. Pants and tops are $70 each compared to $50 on post. With that being said about the price, they are using tru-spec which charged almost $80 per top sooo. read more

Kel-Lac Tactical is not closed despite what you might've read. I was VERY impressed with their quick service and friendly employees. They were able to sew new rank on my ABU blouse and cover in less than 15 minutes. They even gave me quite a deal on some previously altered ABU pants that were never claimed. Absolutely love this place. It's a small shop but they really cater to their Air Force clientele and give one on one attention. I take all of my uniform needs to them. Kel-Lac is a good alternative place to purchase AF ABU uniforms and tactical gear. I know that they sell Air Force Uniforms, and I think they also sell other services. You can also order at their online site, and they'll sew on the stripes, name-tapes, AFSC badges, and pockets too. They are selling the new Rip-Stop ABU which are the light-weight ABUs (I'm not sure if they're AF authorized yet.) read more

The customer service seems to have gone downhill. I used to rely on these guys for quick, same day sewing for uniforms. After making a rather long drive to get some same day sewing, I was initially told that they could do the sewing. Shortly after that, I was told by someone else that he "had to put his foot down", and refused same day sewing despite the long drive. I was really put off by the "put his foot down" comment. I'm going to save these guys the trouble and look for some place else. It's too bad. I used to really like this place. read more
