I have long dreamt of the days I would have a daughter and be able to introduce her into the world of dance. If you share this passion and longing, Avanti is the place for you. Avanti has space for anyone. Embodying inclusivity, creativity, education, and plenty of fun, this dance studio feels like a place my daughter will grow to call a second home. She has so much love for her teachers Taryn and Shanny, and she absolutely feels the love back. Not only are they so positively supportive, but warm, inspiring, and passionate... and it shows. We love Avanti! read more

We've been attending the Parent & Me dance classes with my (very) young daughter for the past two months and I feel like I can finally share! My daughter literally runs into the classroom as soon as we enter the studio and squeals with excitement throughout the class. She doesn't always follow instructions, but the teacher and her assistant are always so sweet and gentle with her. Each class is planned with fun, unique activities but carefully designed with skill building in mind. I am so grateful to have found this place! We've explored many free trial classes at gymnastics centers and other dance classes all over Orange County and really nothing has compared to this class and the patience and kindness of the teachers here. I can't wait for my daughter to continue her dance career :) read more

We have been part of Avanti for about 3 months now, and it already feels like family. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming -- the teachers, the staff, the moms, and even the front desk. From the very first day, we felt so much love, support, and guidance. My daughter truly enjoys every class and looks forward to being there each time. They do wonderful activities for the kids, and she has already made so many friends. Being on the team has made her even happier and more confident. Avanti is such a positive, caring, and supportive place. We are so grateful to be part of this studio and highly recommend it to any family looking for a positive and caring place where their child can grow, feel supported, and make great friends. read more

We love Monday morning class with Ms Shannon! My little one always looks forward to her class and has learned so much already. We came in for a trial class in March 2024 and have stayed ever since. Everyone is so kind and the studio is always clean. read more

My daughter has been dancing at AVANTI since they opened and I could not be more happy! The teachers and staff are the best of the best! The studio is clean, beautiful and so much more! We truly could not be happier! If you're looking for a dance studio, AVANTI is the place to be! read more

I received a refund for the trial class and a $100 credit to the studio. This was after 5 emails to Juli, this Yelp review, and a charge dispute with the credit card company. While Juli offered an apology for my experience, I am still concerned about the lack of professionalism and poor service, largely due to the amount of time and effort needed to get my refund back. The dance teachers are great, and my daughters would have enjoyed attending the classes. However, I don't have enough confidence in the customer service to try this studio again. read more

Great place with outstanding teachers. Everyone is so nice and my daughter loves going there

We joined AVANTI 2 years ago. Coming from a different studio is always difficult, but all the staff and kids were amazing and so welcoming to my daughters. I could not have asked for a better transition. They have grown so much as dancers thanks to the trained staff. There are so many opportunities for growth here from, recreational classes, master classes, competitions, conventions, privates, classes with well known dancers and choreographers, ect. The facility is nice and it even has a coffee cafe on sight! The energy there is fun and we are grateful for this dance family! read more

Clean and spacious dance studio. Love that they have video camera in all the rooms so parents can watch their dancers in the lounge. There is one room with aerial silks and we were fortunate to try one of those classes. My daughter absolutely loved it. There is also a great sense of community and comradery at this studio! read more

I went to their location to check it out. Told me to contact them back to make appt. I called almost a month ago, left one message to the manager and one to the location and no return call. No return call. I called again two weeks ago and still waiting. Customer service is not great. Happy I didn't sign up my daughter there. It seems they pick who they want to enroll. Choose somewhere else if you want a better service. Sad part my daughter really wanted to join a dance class there. Now to choose a better dance school. read more

I signed up for their open Skill Adult Arieal Silks class. They have nice intro package for 3 classes for 60 bucks. You can't do it online with their registering system, but I emailed and they were able to help me out and get there. I went to my first class Dec 16th. The other students had been doing it for a while obviously. The coach, Hillary Bassoff, did a great job of showing me the basics and safety stuff, while still giving the other students good instruction. I learned foot Locks, Russian Climb, French Climb, a baby straddle, in silks splits and a move called Rotessierie? I believe. It was really fun and I'm looking forward to the next class. The other students were all ages and sizes. And we're really nice. read more

We love Avanti!! We've been to other dance studios but at Avanti we feel like they care about the whole dancer's individual needs and what's best for each. I was always disappointed at other studios when I paid so much and barely saw any progress. At Avanti, this is not the case! So much learning and growing happening all the time! There is something for everyone here! The teachers are amazing! Join the team, and you'll feel like you have a 2nd family! We love Avanti Dance Studio!! Top notch in every way! read more

I love this studio so much!!! My 6 year old daughter has been dancing here for almost 4 years. I stumbled on the studio by chance and I am so happy I did. She has been on the mini team for 3 years and I am so proud of her growth. She loves coming to the studio, loves her teachers so much and has a beautiful group of friends. The teachers are amazing!!! They are extremely talented and love the kids so much. They go above and beyond to help every kid there follow their passion and grow as dancers. I feel blessed my daughter is surrounded by such a caring group of people. Not only are the teachers amazing, the owners, and front desk are so kind. I have a younger daughter who is 2 and Shannon at the front desk always makes her feel special and gives her so much love. Truly a special place. I also love that the kids train and work so hard at their craft but they also make the environment fun. Each year they throw an amazing Halloween party that the kids look forward to all year. They also do a very cute secret sibling between the young and older dancers. My daughter looks up to the older dancers so much and it's amazing to see how all the kids at the studio support each other at competitions. My daughter asks me at every comp to sit and watch all the dances so she can cheer on her teammates.... truly beautiful! I don't take recommendations lightly and recommend them without any reservations! Absolutely love this studio read more

I honestly can't say enough about Avanti and the staff. We have been coming here for mommy and me as well as combo classes for my 4 year old. We have tried other studios in the OC area but the staff here is so kind and cool we wouldn't go anywhere else at this point even though my kids are little. With Covid and everything we have been limiting our activity but when they Announced they were doing fun themed camps (we settled on trolls) I signed up right away. My daughter has never done any camp or pre school yet but everyone made her feel comfortable and she zoomed the whole week and was excited to show me her craft projects at the end of each day. After a good week of camp and conquering being left for the first time we got to enjoy a little performance of all the dances they learned. I am so glad I found avanti and am looking forward to my littles dancing here in the fall. read more

I have taken several adult classes at Avanti and try to get back whenever I can! Taryn knows how to bring out the best in you as you are taking class. I usually take the adult jazz and Taryn will adjust for the level of each dancer in the class. The studio is beautiful and well maintained. I love the free floating floors and the welcoming feel all staff and teachers have. I felt like family from day. In addition to the adult classes they welcome a dance company I dance with and provide us with a beautiful space to rehearse in. When we perform the entire staff is there to support us. It is the studio I have been searching for and will go to until I can't dance anymore. read more

I called on Thursday to ask about a trial class. I was told to go online to create an account then call back. I signed up & called back, no answer. No call back. I called again on Monday and no answer. I was already annoyed that instead of getting more information I'm required to create an account for a TRIAL (which required my credit card info) but to not receive a call back or answer to my email? This is just poor customer service. Oh well. I found another studio in HB today who were happy to sign my daughter up for a trial class this weekend! read more

This is the worst studio for children. My daughter is 4 years old and when her tap shoes caused her pain half way throughout the class the main instructor refused to help her and told her to sit and tap with her hands! Since she was crying I asked the administrative assistant to take her out and that instructor said "I don't appreciate my class being interrupted!" I couldn't believe how rude she was and demanded an answer as to why she couldn't bend over and help her take off her shoes but she had no answer. DON'T GO. Awful. read more

Avanti is an incredible, 5 star dance studio. My two daughters have been attending Avanti for two years now and love it more than ever. Avanti is a clean, safe, and fun dance studio where my daughters have grown and thrived over the years. As a mom, I love how the front office staff communicate clearly and kindly with me regarding any up coming events or changes to schedules. The front office staff is also very patient whenever I have questions about dance classes, guiding me through the steps necessary to sign my daughters up for classes. I also love how everyone who works at Avanti greets us with a big smile and hello every time we enter the studio, making it feel like home. My girls have found a second home in Avanti, they love all of their dance teachers and have built wonderful relationships with each of them allowing them to take risks and grow in their skills. They have wonderful friendships and look forward to attending all of their classes. Avanti is a dream come true for a mom, allowing me to know my daughters are receiving a top of the line training in a safe, loving, and encouraging environment. We love Avanti! read more

These are good folks. If you have any issues be sure to bring them up with Taryn the dirctor and she will do her best to address them. Soon to start our second class, I will update this review after the current season is over. For a kindergartener, the fee was $70 for the weekly Saturday class. This time around, we are already off to a much better start. read more

I had my daughter try a ballet/tap class over the 2019 summer with a Groupon and she loved it so much we had to come back and sign up for the regular 2019/2020 session. Miss Taryn is wonderful and my daughter is always so excited to go to her dance class. read more

I feel so lucky to have found this studio- a blend of impeccable technique, positive attitude, and award winning choreography! National champions here but don't be put off by this if you want to dance just for the love of it- all those motivated to dance and grow are welcome here. Really. I tried another studio for a year and have found this studio to have the best technique and most positive attitude towards all of the students. I can feel the support amongst the dancers. Taryn is the exec of the studio and she is a well respected professional dancer. Her skill and ability to relate to the kids is contagious. The instructors all offer clear, positive feedback. (I have had experiences where another studio may not even know my daughter's name or what she needed to improve!) I almost don't want to post this because I feel this studio may be become too popular! read more

I came in last night to take Kia's "Heels" class. It was SO freaking fun! I've taken classes from Kia at a different studio and loved them. It was great to be back with him for a fun night. The studio was nice. The check-in area can be a little cramped while waiting for class. Do yourself a favor and create your account ahead of time so you can just check in when you arrive. You'll love Kia's class! read more

We love this studio. Unfortunately we can only do drop ins when we're in town but my daughter takes classes in LA and she can come to the same hiphop instructors on certain days at this Orange County studio. We wish we lived closer so she could try more classes but she loves it when we have the opportunity to drop in. Great studio. read more

First I would like to start by saying I love this studio! Everyone is so nice and so welcoming and incredibly supportive. I felt so at home right from the start. But this review is mostly for Taryn. She teaches the Jazz Adult classes on Tuesdays. She is the sweetest, most encouraging, and fun teacher I've ever had! I loved her class right from the beginning mostly because of her. She makes you feel like you can do anything even if you've never had professional training. I can't say enough good things about her! She makes you want to dance your heart out and she makes you a better dancer with each class you take. She's always there to listen and help you like a friend you've had for a long time. For those that want to go back to dancing or those that just want to try something new, I highly recommend Taryn's class and all the other clases at this studio. You will fall in love with everyone there and fall in love with dance again as I have. read more

Avanti cares about their dancers more than any dance studio I've ever been to! The instructors are knowledgable, creative, motivating, and inspiring. Each class has specific curriculum so that the students progressively grow. They have an amazing competition team & hold recitals in winter & summer so that the students have performances to work towards. Not only is the dance training high quality, the atmosphere of the studio is super welcoming & the owners are extremely friendly. The facility is beautiful with nice, big rooms with a lounge with TVs & couches for the parents to hang out. I highly recommend this dance studio. I've only had amazing experiences. read more
