Found a truck on autotrader, keller bros dodge in Lititz. I call ahead of time to say I'm coming for a certain truck and they say ok we'll have it ready. I get there and they have no idea where the truck is. After 4 hours and trying to flip me to another truck (no, I drove 2 hours for a specific truck) they finally figure out that the truck they advertised for sale on autotrader is the same one they loaned out to someone that had their truck in for service. They said it would be back that day. Nope. Then 2 days. Nope. Then on the 4th day they drove it to me and I find out that it has 3k miles more on it than was advertised. All the pics and paperwork said 23k, when I drive it there are 26k on it. I complained and got a free oil change. Then a few weeks later I get a call from the dealer saying the bank red flagged my paperwork and the loan isn't funded. Someone at the dealer fat fingered my ssn so it didn't match paperwork. So they ask me to email my ssn to them. Not a chance. Who asks to send ssn through unsecure email?!? I call the bank and settle it myself. Then I get notices from PA DMV that they don't have my previous cars plate, the one I traded in to Keller. So that issue is ongoing, don't know where the plate is yet. It's a shame because the salesman was a good kid, he tried. He hadn't been trained well on vehicle specifics or just didn't do his homework, because he didn't know a lot about the truck or even the dreaded "hemi tick" associated with rams, but he was nice to deal with. After nights of researching dealerships I happened to come across Keller Bros Dodge Ram and felt this place was trustworthy. I submitted an inquiry on a specific vehicle that caught my attention, and received immediate response from Kerry Kneisley. After we set an appointment to come in and view the vehicle, I noticed a sign hanging from the vehicles rear view mirror. The sign said "Welcome Stephanie", and that to me expressed that I had hit the jackpot when it comes to customer service lol. Kerry was very detailed oriented, patient, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to comprehend my situation. I ended up leaving that day with a new car and couldn't be more happier. Took my Ram there to have a heat issue and passenger headlight fixed. Told them I thought the heater core needed replaced and the headlight issue was a wiring problem because i replaced the bulb, and it periodically goes on and off. Well, they replaced the water pump (evidently it was leaking), replaced the bulb, called it all good and took my $1500. Ignored everything I mentioned. I tried to get it fixed for my parents. Now they have it at the garage, they were just told the problem is the HEATER CORE and a WIRING ISSUE with the headlight. I'm beyond pissed that now my 65 year old mother has to deal with this. Very patient and helpful. Kathleen responded to my initial online inquiry and stayed in touch for about a week while I looked around locally. Finally made the 1 hour trek out to see what they had, not expecting much because the inventory she was sending wasn't what I wanted and there wasn't much anywhere. I drove two Dodge Rams and one was tempting but not quite what I wanted. Asked if she could show me a Ford, so she let me drive the Dodge that I kind of liked over to compare. A 250 that just arrived was next to the one she took me to see, and it was much closer to what I'd wanted. She hadn't thought to show it to me because it was priced above the range I'd given her. That impressed me, to be honest. She waited patiently while my wife came out to take a look (another hour). We liked the truck so much we decided to stretch the budget but really had to get a better price. Kathleen went to bat for us, and we were still uncomfortable and wanted to leave to think about it. She went to bat again and got us a price we could live with. Financing came in at a great rate on the first try. Warranty was another negotiation and they came up with something reasonably priced and what I needed. My usual trusted dealer had no inventory, and I am very loyal when someone treats me well. So now I have two dealers I trust for next time. The only negative for this dealer is a fee they charge that my other dealer does not. It wasn't a deal killer this time, but I did tell Kathleen she may need to compete next time. Something tells me that won't be a problem. We bought a car at Sauder Chevrolet in Ephrata. Almost immediately started having issues with the car. Took it to Sauder to have it fixed, they were not able to fix it. We went to Keller Brothers and they were more than helpful. A week later we had to return for another issue and again they were wonderful. Our car is going there next week for yet another issue. For not having bought our car from them, they have treated us great. Can't say enough good things about the customer service we have received. My father purchased a lightly used Durango Citadel Hemi from them two weeks ago with my help. From the beginning our sales man Kevin was very courteous and answered all questions to the best of his ability even although he was fairly new. The price was competitive and the truck in great condition with very low miles. Though we lived 3 hours away in VA, it was well worth the drive. The transaction was pretty easy and they were able to beat the finance rate we were quoted by our bank so we were content. Although there was a minor hiccup due to miscommunication with an option on the truck, Dan the sales manager went above and beyond what was expected to fix it and truly made us very satisfied customers.
