In this case it's the Town Hall building for the once tiny town of Prosper. Not long ago this was literally a tiny north Texas Town,exactly like the 1000s dotting the flat prairie of this part of the state. As development moves north at an ever more rapid pace,these tiny communities are being transformed overnight. It is critical with this type growth that responsible citizens are in from the start with rock solid civic planning. Once the infrastructure is planned and built out,it's impossible to retreat and redo. Setting the foundation for what's to come is a make it or break it proposition. On this day,I had taken my High School Junior Grandson to breakfast. Afterward I proposed we get on the Dallas north toll road and see where it ends. It still ends in roughly Prosper where staging is taking place to begin the extension even further north. Unprecedented growth continues to take place. I turned up towards the little town and as we passed the Town Hall building,I proposed we go in and take a look. Little did my grandson know that I'd disguised a civics lesson for him in the form of a city government visit. Ha,he thought he was missing school! Happy Birthday! As we entered the building I was truly amazed at the quality of construction. Well planned and thought out with top quality materials from floor to ceiling. Display cases reviews the history of small town Prosper in a museum quality way. We were greeted by a lovely representative of the city that was very helpful in our understanding of the area. If you're out and about seeing what's happening in our ever changing world,I highly recommend you stop in and appreciate this lovely structure and budding city government.

This new building is nice. We were greeted upon entering and helped. I know you may think all town…read morehall look the same nope!!! The decor inside and out is a lol breathtaking. It's well lit and with a lot of natural light and open space. It's neatly organized and well noted with descriptions of what your looking for.. there is spacious parking outside. The bathroom was clean, nice, roomy and not cramped lol. They are social distancing and everyone entering is required to wear a mask. They have hand sanitizer available if needed. The lines are moving steadily for the early voting. We've been here since 8:15 am so it's not bad. They have plenty of helpful volunteers and workers to help with whatever question or concerns you may have.

I love the Keller Public Library! They have a variety of books, puzzles, games, movies, tv shows,…read moreand other things to choose from. I love the atmosphere and always come here if I need a cozy place to study. They also have lots of fun activities for all ages.

For eBook and audiobooks you are limited to three holds and three checkouts. Lending period can vary from title to title (most are 14 days). The books I've checked out are in Kindle format, which means you need either a Kindle, of one of the the free Kindle reader apps (available for a variety of platforms). Unlike a real book, it does not appear you can return material early in order to check out more material Freegal Music gives you access to millions of songs from over 10,000 labels including the Sony Music catalog of your country (in MP3 format). You are allowed a measly 3 downloads per week. If you are patient enough, you can download entire albums. Another thing I just started looking into is Mango Languages, also available with your library card. Maybe after 10 years of marriage I will finally try to learn some Vietnamese, beyond the most rudimentary of basics that is. As I mentioned in my earlier review, Keller City Library is part of the MetrOPAC system. Other MetrOPAC Libraries, which accept Keller Resident Library cards, are: Fort Worth Public Library Benbrook Public Library Burleson Public Library Haltom City Public Library Richland Hills Public Library Watauga Public Library Oh, and here's a cool tip: If you book is overdue, renew it on-line. If the renew is successful, it's won't be overdue anymore. I'm not sure if this works with DVDs, which carry a stiffer overdue fine. Lastly, this library can be noisy. People just don't seem to know what library etiquette is. Perhaps the expectation of a quiet library is changing. I agree with Tee, if you are looking for a quiet place to study, this may not be the pace for you. The Texas Motor Speedway may be a bit quieter ;-) Nowadays I find bookstores more quiet than libraries, and many even have tables (and coffee shops).

Creating a library card, placing a hold on a book and lending it on my own - All of these were pretty quick and easy. I was in and out of the library in 15 minutes. Their website is user-friendly and easy to search for books. Lastly, there are plenty of parking spots available with curbside pickup options. The only reason I couldn't give it a 5 star rating - Library was too noisy to sit & read.

One of my favorite libraries in the DFW area. There are multiple couches and minimal seating with…read moretables and outlets upstairs. It is still a very comfortable location to study in as it's quiet, clean, & cozy. Would say it had very little natural lighting & more of artificial warm yellow lighting. Free curbside parking & it's minimal. May be confusing on how to enter into the building as I initially thought I made it to the police station after following my GPS. Just know the library is connected to the townhall & police station. You are at the correct location!
