What a terrible experience I had with this company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I met with Richard Fisher who was a PIG from the get go. They way he looked at me was DISGUSTING. Super unprofessional and made a ton of weird "subtle" advances on me. When I began to show obvious discomfort he became irritated. After about a 20 minute conversation with this creep, I told him I would be taking my business elsewhere. He then became furious and even laughed at me. He then cussed a storm as I walked out. We purchased a home in 2011 with the assistance of Keller Williams and their Agent, Jaclyn Little. Ms. Little recommended that we use a home inspector which I trusted would be appropriate. After moving into the home we discovered toxic mold, leaking windows, water intrusion in several areas of the home and many other hazardous conditions. We are now involved in a lawsuit against Keller Williams and the other parties and Keller Williams/Ms. Little refuse to admit fault or accept responsibility. Legally, my agent should have done a through inspection. If Ms. Little would have done what she is required to do, I wouldn't have purchased the home as she would have advised me of the mold, the water leaks, etc. NEVER allow your home inspection to take place with your real estate agent while you are working! NEVER agree to use the home inspector your real estate agent recommends! Ms. Little was new to this company and very eager to sell this home to us. Rather than having morals, Ms. Little advised us that this home was appropriate for purchase. Our interests were not protected by Ms. Little or Keller Williams. read more

This was mine and my husband's first time buying a home. We worked with Dixie Clough to help find our home. It's been tough, there was so much to learn and in a relatively short amount of time. Any and every snag we could hit on the financing side happened, but Dixie has been a rock through the entire process. To start, she showed us many properties, can't count them all. All properties were in our budget, and in neighborhoods that we would have been happy to live in. She advised us on open houses that suited our needs, and that's where we found our new home. It is an older home, needs a fair bit of work. Dixie helped us get some extra work done to ease my mind (an extra support beam in the garage, crimped rubber pipe in bathroom, leftover stair from an old remodel...things like that). Basically anything that had the slightest chance of impacting the appraisal (in my own green, slightly paranoid mind) was fixed to my satisfaction, and great relief. I have to mention the inspection period. That was one of the most hectic days ever. Had 3 people lined up to come over on the same day, all had 2 hour windows. Of course, they all showed up at the same time. I ended up so overwhelmed that i couldn't focus. No problem, though. Dixie had it all under control. We had gone over every point i could think of prior to the inspectors arriving, and she was on point with calling out every one of them. It was like watching a maestro conducting a symphony, lol. Very well done. That's when she got the repairs lined up, as well. Moving on to the financing part...oh my god what a nightmare. I'm not going in depth on that, as i'm not reviewing the financer, and the major hiccup was my own darn fault. Suffice it to say that we had multiple extensions, feared the whole thing falling through, i got so frustrated with the whole financing process that i was almost ready to toss the earnest money and walk. Dixie kept me calm, kept reminding "WHO" this all was for, "WHAT" we were working toward, that the "WHEN" is coming soon, the "WHERE" is a tangible, physical property, and the "WHY" is a multi-faceted diamond that will greatly improve many aspects of our lives, now and in the future. She also impressed upon me that the "HOW" was already happening, and we weren't in it alone. All this while making sure that all the paperwork was in order, inspections and appraisal timed just right, solidly communicating with the seller's agent, financer, and helping with Docu-sign hiccups. She was on the phone with us whenever we needed, often late at night, making sure we understood the process and where we were at in it. As a house warming gift, she paid for the buyer's portion of her paycheck, which was a very sweet gesture. She also offered us moving boxes, and when she found out we were looking for a washer and dryer offered to help us in our search, and gave us many suggestions for the most economical options. It's been pretty awesome! There is more...i could go on, but I think you get the idea. Dixie was has a strong voice, and has been a strong advocate for us. Can't give less than one start. I called the listing agent about $500k home for sale. The agent dodged every question I asked. He only wanted to know how much money I was putting as a down payment. He told me that if I wasn't paying cash that the home would be much more expensive. He then told me the he had sold million dollar homes in LA and Beverly Hills, for what purpose I don't know. I asked if he was the contracted agent for the home owner, his response was "something like that". I tried calling the office in Roseville, I spoke with the receptionist. I asked to speak with the broker. She told me he was not in today, I guess they don't work on days ending in a "y". I don't know how or why anyone would do business with anyone from this real-estate agency, if you do good luck. Based on the other reviews this is typical of this business. read more

I asked them to remove my name from the database and one guy said he would but the calls keep coming. One even pretended he had an interested buyer. Lame! read more

Tammy Verduzco at KW is amazing! She worked so hard for us to get us into our first home, day and night, answered any questions I had and did so much extra for us. She even would bring gifts every time we saw her. My daughter loves Harry Potter and every time I saw Tammy she had a new gift for her, Harry Potter themed or school supplies or refrigerator magnets, to make y daughter feel extra special! Do not use Mindy DeMain. We purchased a home that had been remodeled inside. Ms. Demain chose travertine for kitchen countertops even after a licensed contractor told her the material was terrible for kitchen counters. Within four months of moving in, they began cracking and Keller Williams would not stand behind it. DeMain was the selling realtor and Patricia Webb and her dauther Nikki Ryles were our realtors, who were no help either. Stay away from these people! read more

When we received word that our landlord would be sellling the condo we were living in, while I was in my third trimester, we immediately found ourselves on an insane emotional roller coaster!!! Thank goodness we found Rick Dumont to help us keep our sanity during this incredibly STRESSFUL time. Some of the other realtors we spoke to, when we decided we wanted to try to buy a home in the Sacramento area, made us feel like because it was definitely a Sellers Market that we would have to move quickly and be willing to spend more than we felt comfortable with if we really wanted to be able to buy a nice house in a good area. Rick was like a breath of fresh air. He never made us feel pressured to rush or go outside of our budget. He helped us feel confident that we WOULD be able to find the right house for us and within our budget. The house hunting process was not easy. We had to make multiple trips to Sacramento from the Bay Area and Rick was great at being able to accommodate our limited ability to get up to Sacramento. Rick is very well respected and connected in the community. When we were out house hunting with him, we often had people tell us how lucky we were to have Rick as our realtor. One of the first houses we put an offer on was going to require A LOT of renovation and Rick was able to put us in touch with a lender that could do renovation mortgages and with a contractor that was able to go through the house with us to help us get a better idea of what renovations really would be required for that particular house. Ultimately our offer on that house was not accepted, but we learned a ton going through the process. Rick was very patient and good about answering our MANY questions. We didn't have to feel bad when our offer wasn't accepted because Rick continually reassured us that we WOULD be able to find the right house for us. We ended up putting offers on four different houses during our house hunt and each time we learned more and more about what was most important to us for our future home. I'm personally grateful that the first 3 houses didn't work out because the one we ultimately were able to buy is definitely my favorite of all. Rick was so great throughout the house hunting process. He has a ton of experience and was able to point out things to us that wouldn't have even crossed our minds -- things that could require a ton of money to repair in the near future, simple things that could be done to make the home even more appealing, etc. Rick is a very hands on realtor. He will go through the whole house with you and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty (even washing windows to see if we should ask for the windows to be replaced or if we were just dealing with hard water stains). We seemed to be a magnet for difficult Sellers/Agents, but Rick helped us navigate every maddening thing that happened throughout the whole process. We were thrilled to close escrow on our favorite (of all the houses we'd looked at) the day before our baby girl was born! I don't know how we would've survived that insanely STRESSFUL time without Rick there to help us every step of the way. read more
