I think…read morethere were about 10 of us there for a calligraphy class that was being held in the back of the cafe. I ordered a hot chai tea latte, something I love to try anytime that it is on the menu. I have tried a lot of them, some good, some bad. This chai was a good one, not overly spicy on this one but a good flavor profile. Creamy finish on the top and because I was having it in-store I got it in a glass cup and I love that! The gals that took my order and then made my chai latte were not messing around, they were quick which was good because I was running slightly behind and only had a few minutes until class started. It was clean in the coffee shop aside from where we tracked in the rain on the wood floors. Several tables to sit at or you could just grab your cup to go. Looks like they had a few choices of baked goods you could also order but I did not try any on this occasion. I would stop here again if in Westend.

If you want great coffee, this isn't the place. But it's a nice little place with fairly friendly staff and a sitting area to chat or work.

We go across town (at least 20 minutes), hopes high and taste buds ready, only to land at this spot and find the energy a little more "BLAH" than "CAFFEEINE PARTY." I'm all about giving new to me places a chance, so I let them know I was from out of town, expecting an enthusiastic welcome or at least a menu breakdown. Instead, I got about as much excitement as a decaf espresso shot. I was this close to skipping the order altogether, but my inner self said keep going. The baristas making the drinks were great, and the space itself is roomy enough for laptop warriors or a catch-up with pals. The drinks, though, didn't have me doing cartwheels, but hey, maybe it was just an off day for my taste buds. I can't begin to remember the name of my drink Would I go back? Probably not. Will our Cincinnati crew give it another shot? Also unlikely. But hey, if you're nearby and feeling adventurous, maybe you'll catch them on a day when the energy is as strong as their coffee. There are a few chairs inside the shop, but it was a sunny early spring day so we sat in the small courtyard and caught up with each other. There, I saw that there is an entrance from the side street -- regulars seemed to enter from that direction. But I like the secret entrance between buildings better! We parked on a side street but there is a little lot in the area. No photos; was too busy gabbing.
