I just moved into a new apartment in the area and was in the market for some used items or antiques when I popped in -- I was able to find exactly what I wanted. For a consignment shop, they have a ton of great stuff and the layout and space is not over crowded, so it makes it easy to navigate and picture how they might look in your space at home. I was only really looking for a desk, but walked out of there with a bookshelf and an ottoman that I love. I had looked everywhere for the perfect desk and found a retro MacTable that is big, has a great silhouette and fits perfectly in my office. The ottoman I found had been repurposed with a southwester red print which I really like and the book shelf was incredible with sliding glass doors. The reason I was able to come out of the shop with 3 items instead of just 1 was because everything was actually reasonably priced. A lot of times antique stores are SO expensive that that items you really like feel out of reach, but Bullstreet had prices that I thought were reasonable and fair. Finally, the service was great. I don't own a truck or van, so the person making the sale offered delivery for a low cost since I was only about a mile away. They delivered all three items the same day and helped me move them up my insane staircase. My shopping experience at Bullstreet Estates was about 2 months ago, but I find myself poking my head in there every week or two just to see what else they have... hoping to find some more treasures next time I visit.

I was willing to go three times higher than the final sale price. CAUTION! SALES WOMAN QUESTIONABLE I was there about October…read more8, 2018 and asked the price on a Remington which I knew was a reproduction. I asked if it was about $1,200 and the sales woman said "add a zero. That's an original." When I pushed that it was a reproduction and the original would be over $100,000, she again insisted in an indignant condescending manner that it was an original and asked "do you want to speak with the owner." She called the owner on a cell phone and asked for the price and I heard the owner say "14." The sales woman asked "14 what" and I heard the owner say "$1,400." At which point the sales woman said to me "you all have a nice day" and turned her back on me. Beware of fraudulent sales practices and a sales woman that will make a representation either intentionally false or not knowing if it is true or false (equivalent to the same fraud under the law)
