We all have collected various things over our lives, and that was certainly my dilemma. I had a coin collection, various coins and paper bills from overseas trips, and my wife had a few odds and ends of jewelry (a ring that was now too small, etc.) so I did my Yelp research and was pleased to find of this business near us. I called and was encouraged to find out they wanted to look at my things. The lady on the phone was helpful and encouraging, so off we went on an adventure. Miller's is in their own stand alone building and it's got a neat and businesslike appearance. This is a successful business we agreed! Upon entering we were struck by the variety and quality of the merchandise. Everything from collector art pieces, to ancient arrowheads, to antique pocket watches, rings and precious metals. I turned over our items and after a brief but thorough evaluation, the appraisal was given and the transaction done promptly. Family owned, those operating this business are exceptionally professional and thoroughly professional. They even have an 'office dog' in my experience this is one store we'll return to, even if I'm not selling anything at the moment, just to say hello and chat. This is a great coin store in Pooler. I stopped in a few minutes before they opened and waited in the parking lot for them to open. I figured I could catch them while they were empty of customers. Unfortunately many people had same idea and the parking lot was quite full even before they opened. This busy experience is a testament to how well the store is appreciated by the community. I brought in an early American colonial coin that I had come across and suspected was a fake. They were able to confirm my suspicion in about 30 seconds. I much appreciated their time! The store had a variety of different coins as well as watches, jewelry and silver items (ie. serving ware). It is a fun place to pursue when you have a few minutes to spend in the old part of Pooler. read more

They told me my platinum diamond ring was gold plated platinum and would turn my finger. I wore it for 25 years and it never turned my ring not to mention I never told them I had the appraisal of such ring with me showing it appraised at almost $10,00.00 but they would pay me $300.00. This place is really sketchy. I haven't purchased any coins here so I can't speak on that but I came here to appraise a ring+band (was not trying to sell it) and I was quoted $400. This was his "honest opinion." I took it to Anderson jewelers and they told me the ring alone was worth $4,000. I just thought that was shady. read more

Great place!!! I went in with my Grandmother's collection for her. The Owner went through it and gave me a estimate to sale and for insurance purposes.
