On October 5, 2020 his helper, Curtis, applied a mold and mildew inhibitor, then pressure washed and primed. He also rolled on a product on the cracking trim peaks to help seal it before priming. Doug also suggested a really nice accent color that he had on hand for my chimney heat deflector which I ended up loving and had him use it for the trim on all the peaks. He's very personable and told me that if there was anything that needed to be touched up, missed areas fixed, or if I wasn't happy with the color, to let him know and he would gladly come back to make things right. Doug has a keen eye for the details which I liked, he also worked with my wife helping her decide on a color. That in itself was a major accomplishment. The crew Curtis and Josh did a great job, these two guys where always polite and accommodating to our requests. Prior to hiring Consolidated Painting, I had a problem with dry rot on my chimney. I had reached out to several different contractors about rebuilding my chimney. Each one of contractors never end followed through with the rebuild. When Doug showed up to bid my paint job, I asked him how he would deal with the chimney and the dry rot. I explained to him the ridiculous time I was having with getting a contractor over to rebuilt it. Doug immediately said he could get it done for me through a friend. The next day Curtis was on my roof addressing the dry rot and prepping the chimney for a complete rebuild. Needless to say I'm elated with my new chimney it looks GREAT and so does my house.
