My sister gave her neighbor permission to trim the trees hanging over the neighbors fence. My sister didn't know that the neighbor hired Kelly and his crew to CUT DOWN ALL OF HER TREES IN HER BACK YARD NO ONE EVER TALKED TO MY SISTER!!! No one on Kelly crew talked to my sister she came home from work and all her trees were laying in her back yard! They told my sister that the neighbor hired them to cut the trees down but not to clean them up! First of all how can your neighbor hire someone to come on my sisters property and cut all her trees down with our talking to the property owner( my sister) now we have to remove all these trees that were not dead just over grown..This is so sad our beautiful trees gone. read more

Each time I had to call to figure out was going on and Jen would apologize with every excuse in the book and reschedule for an appointment that they never planned on attempting to make. Called the company and they were to come to my house at a specific time and date. I needed a tree removed. I even asked if they worked at my address. My husband took off work to meet them. They did not show up!!! NO call, No text, no communication. So very unprofessional! Not sure why companies don't think they owe potential customers the common courtesy to at least call and say they are not coming. read more

They came for a quote back in April. I contacted again on 7/15 to see if my quoted price was still good, was told yes the price was still good. Scheduled for service on 7/16. 7/16 was rained out which was completely understandable. They called and rescheduled for 7/17. Called them at almost 2pm on 7/17 and left a message to verify they were still coming. Got a call back an hour later that they had an emergency and they thought someone called me 7/17 morning and told me. Told me they would be out Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday depending on rain. No one showed up Monday or Tuesday. Emailed them Wednesday 7/21 around 930 to verify they were coming. Was told I was scheduled for the afternoon. Okay Cool. Emailed around 5pm Wednesday asking for an update. Received an email back around 6pm saying that the estimate was not legible and he really wanted to see my project and they would be here Thursday 7/22 to do another estimate I assumed. Emailed 7/22 around 1pm asking for a time. Said she would let me know when she had more info. Never heard anything back on 7/22. I emailed 7/23 and told them to cancel any pending request that I had decided to go with another contractor. Very unprofessional and frustrating. read more

Long story short, some despicable human beings threw an 8 week old kitten in our yard and the poor thing ran up one of our gigantic oak trees. I called around 30 24 hour tree services and Kelly Crockett's Tree Service were the only ones who came through for us to help get the kitten out of the tree. They sent a really awesome guy name Greg, and he was quick and efficient! He understood our concerns of the situation and was happy to help! Great rate for an emergency call! I would suggest going with someone else. This crew seems a bit unprofessional. Kelly came out to my home about 2 months ago to do an assessment of what the cost would be. The price was very reasonable, but they told me they were a little busy the next two weeks due to some previously agreed upon contracts. I told them that was fine, and I called them three weeks later to give them enough time. We first scheduled for 05/04. Come the day before, the date wouldn't work due to the weather and I said "I completely understand, I'm available any day next week." Tammy said she'd call me to reschedule. They never called back, so on 05/15 I called them back. She apologized, told me she had planned to call me, but had been very busy. Ok. So we rescheduled for Thursday 05/18. Well come Thursday she calls me back to say "Kelly won't make it, his truck broke down while out on the road. He'll come out tomorrow on Friday". Ok, again I understand. I never even received a call that Friday. I called her again Saturday, Tammy apologised per usual, and we rescheduled for today 05/23. Up to this point I had been very patient and understanding, I never gave a tone or got mad at them. However, I said firmly on Saturday that if the next appointment was missed, I would be very disappointed and would be forced to go with another company. She said she was very sorry and she understood. Well, I got a voice message today saying "Kelly won't make it, and we understand if you need to go with someone else". The reason? Per Tammy, their crew didn't show up to work today.... Thank God I did not have to call off work any of these days, or I would have been sorely out. read more

The pricing was fair and the workers were very efficient and conscientious. They were very careful not to harm existing perrenials and raked the grass to remove any tire marks from the equipment. I had 25-30 Austree (willow family) trees that had gotten close to their full life expectancy, had grown too tall and most had some sort of bug eating them so they were full of large dead branches. The trees regularly dropped twigs and small branches too. My neighbor Karla had 12-18 of the same trees in the same condition with one of the larger ones leaning on her house with roots up out of the ground from that tree in my yard. We contacted Kelly Crockett who came out and provided a written quote and returned within days with an amazing crew. I think there were 10-12 men working at once. They showed up at 9:30am and began working right away and wrapped up a little after 8pm. These men never stopped moving! They used a bucket truck to handle some of the larger trees. They had tree climbers that got up in the trees and worked from there. They worked in close quarters and I was amazed at the control they had of these large trunks and branches. They hauled off all of the debris and chipped the trunks and branches into waiting trucks on the street. Then these hulking men worked their way through our yards raking up small twigs and debris as well as a couple guys with blowers getting even more. ( I didn't have them grind down or remove the stumps... that was my choice. My neighbor had hers removed. ) I was amazed by their professionalism and courteousness as they worked. If they saw me standing outside ( I was amazed at their skill, so I watched alot!) they would stop and ask if I needed anything or how they could help. I wish I could do them justice. I was in awe of the skill and amazed at their professional and courteous demeanor. I just can't find the words to adequately express it! I would happily refer this crew to anyone who needs tree work done. They do so much more than cut trees down...they trim and care for them. Give them a call! They will WOW you too!!! read more
