I went through a very expensive model home (where decorating is the best of the best), and came across the most beautiful paintings I had seen in a long time. They were two large paintings of Austin, Texas scenery. I did a little bit of research, and found out about Kiah, the girl that painted them! I sent her an email asking if she could paint me those exact paintings, and honestly expected the price to be WAY out of my range. She emailed back very quickly, quoted me a fantastic price, and told me they would be ready in only two weeks! These paintings are about 6-7 feet tall, and are filled with amazing detail and extraordinary color. I could not be happier with her work. We hung these painting in our main living area (a 25-foot wall), and they completely transformed the look of our entire room. If I could attach a picture, I would! I would recommend Kiah to everybody who is looking for an artist. In fact, I'm going to ask her to work on another painting for me! We've been considering repainting our bedroom because, ew to white walls (SO basic & boring). Narrowed my initial 17 color selections down to 4. I am sure the folks at PPG thought I was a maniac going home with so many swatches, lol. Nonetheless, we're down to the 4 choices and swung by today to get the colors in actual paint form. Going to be painting some small test squares on one of the bedroom walls. Anyhoo, I ramble because it's important to know the type of customer the employees were dealing with and how their assistance and service impacted the visits. Extremely professional (these guys know their stuff and have great taste on top of that), friendly, and helpful in making my choices. I thought about it for a week or so and fortunately it was still available... sold! Since it is so large, Derek made a paper template and a special trip to help me decide where to mount it. About a week later, he and a friend delivered and installed it... great work, very professional. I am so happy with my Green Summit original art, I hope to work with Derek on a few custom items in the future.

My contractor and his tile setter have used Daltile's good quality tile for 20-25 yrs. However, my…read moreexperience was disappointing. In May2023, I picked out Daltile's Marazzi Zellige tile Gesso (imported from Italy) for October project. Was told by sales rep, no need to pick up early as this tile was always kept in stock. But I find out in October Daltile changed to manufacturer "Mohawk" (El Paso, TX) The Mohawk tile is very different: very little color variation (the hallmark of Zellige). In the attached photos I show what was originally chosen and the tile as it now looks installed. Very disappointed. Had I been informed they were changing manufacturer I could have ordered the original Zellige in May OR found authentic Zellige elsewhere. Instead I wasn't able to get my once-in-a-lifetime project done as hoped.

I don't even know where to start…read more I feel completely taken advantage of, mislead, and bullied after working with Little Guy Movers on what was supposed to be a very simple move from a house to a storage facility nearby. At the inception of the job, I was quoted a very high amount for a local move, which I agreed to, as I had no other option and needed a move quickly. Ryan sold me on their diligence, their process, and the various roles of each worker; little of which came to fruition on our job. We had to plead and advocate for several of our items to be packed properly, after discovering very shoddy work. Some parts of furniture were only covered with very little shrink wrap, which they ran out of quickly as they did not have enough of the necessary materials to complete our job. This left us feeling very confused and very frustrated as we paid such a high premium for this very average-seeming move into empty storage units. Many of our items had to be transported to the storage facility loosely and improperly due to the lack of materials, to be properly packed later at the destination. Ultimately we had to take on the burden and risk of our items being damaged in transit to the storage units due to the companies mistake. There was little to no protocol conducive to an organized job. Many of the men were seemingly unsupervised, and much of the time, doing little to help move things along. We were concerned that most of the men working had little to no experience moving items. Our items were not labeled, which we were promised before the job. This was something very important to us as we wanted to keep track of our items. In the end, we paid over $4,000 for about 8 hours of work, that very well could have been 4-6 hours of work with a decent protocol and the necessary supervision. We highly regret trusting this company with our items, money, and time. It was a reminder to us that we really cannot let our guard down and trust anybody at face value, even when paying such a premium and being promised a great product. Since we were not provided a receipt in person, I was left to discover that the card was charged just over $4,400 through square. We are not sure how to justify this amount as we do not have a receipt. We are seriously so upset and felt compelled to share our experience.

In addition, the movers were kind, courteous, and communicative. However, this is not the company I'd recommend using to move if you're looking for experienced movers who know how to maneuver large objects without possible damage. One of the guys was so inexperienced that even after one of the others provided him full step-by-step instructions, he still managed to miss his "Set" cue and hurt himself pretty significantly. This required medical attention, which caused delays and a pick up from the owner. The remaining two guys seemed to not understand the concept of placing a sofa on end to maneuver into a hallway concept. After damaging the corners of my hallway entrance while making several attempts, I opted to have them place the sofa into a wide open room and I'll hire someone else to do what I need. They did a fine job of removing stuff from the truck into the house. If that's all you need in a pinch, LittleGuys will suffice.
