Craig went above and beyond to make things right for us. In the crazy holiday Black Friday rush out tree got snagged. Of course my 5 year old started crying and was so upset. Craig went inside picked him out a toy and had us pick a nicer tree. All in all a very awesome experience. Thanks so much Craig for saving our Christmas.

Endless selection of paint, plants, everything to help you grow plants, lumber, appliances, everything you need for your kitchen, and an endless selection of tools and many of them have a lifetime warranty if they are from rigid the Home Depot brand. I did buy my husband a complete set of rigid cordless 18 volt battery powered tools that he thoroughly enjoys using. The Milwaukee is generally considered the best but the rigid is half the price and comes with a lifetime warranty. My son is a carpenter prefers DeWalt but so far so good with the Ridgid tools. This is a great location in Central Austin and servicing Southwest Austin also.

Some loser putting everyone at risk.

Imagine going to a store, speaking with several employees who seem eager but an able to help. That's what we have here. Nearly 2500 of what I want in stock but nobody can seem to get them for me. They page this guy, walk away to find someone to help and never return. It's fn great just how incapable they are. Joel was great but he wasn't able to get the material I needed. Update: Joel was able to figure out the right person to ask. Problem was solved and they helped me load my stuff. I understand being understaffed but it's so frustrating sometimes. Hopefully Joel gets a raise because he really seemed to care.

A shout out to Greg and Robby for their great help in finding a part for fixing my faucet. They were both very conscientious. Thank you!

I'd like to say great service, expertise, knowledge in the plumbing area from Sandra-she might be a weekly, day worker.

They have many beautiful plants and they are placed so lovely, it's like walking through a garden. They have a very large parakeet area where they have rescued parakeets. They have a beautiful turtle with pond that is the size of a pool and the turtles are currently having babies! There's herbs, there's perennials, there's annuals. There are Texas native plants. The nursery is surrounded by beautiful large trees. Their shaded plants are shaded under the shade of these beautiful large trees. I truly enjoyed myself. The people who work there are so helpful and kind. I asked lots of questions and they never got tired of answering or smiling. Their prices are medium, you can probably find some herbs and plants for less money, but you get what you pay for here. Their plants are an excellent condition and very well cared for. I bought a Sago palm, a chamomile, and an Italian parsley. I highly recommend you visit!

Most likely you'll first park your vehicle, then walk in the main entrance with its grand rustic signage. Perhaps you might miss the rope swing to your left, and instead you might be drawn to the rows of plants on your right. You might snake in further to under the tarp covered area. Or perhaps you'll venture inside the building at the front. You might check out their aviary, try to find their two tortoises, turtles, or admire their pottery selection. If you go in far enough, lights string themselves between trees towering above you. If you go all the way back, you'll find a sheltered greenhouse area with some neat displays. In the fountain area, water will be aerated, and alligator heads will float around. You might go around reading signage describing various plants, how they can be used, conditions in which they thrive, or how they drip irrigate their nursery plants. Some signs suggest they can source plants for you if needed. You might encounter the friendly people running the place who'll explain to you how everything works. But other, it's a nice e area to walk around. Across the other side of the parking lot, they have a museum set up inside a large garage. Entry to this nursery is free, but if you're looking to buy a plant, you can grab a cart, find your selection, and then bring it over to one of the checkout stations that they have setup. Otherwise, there is plenty of space to walk around and explore.

I didn't, having never done so for any other Living Social deal, but this location of Garden-Ville doesn't "have the scanners and equipment to redeem" from a smart phone. To which I said, "Well, I wish you'd have mentioned that when I called half an hour ago." You shouldn't even need such equipment - the employee just didn't know what to do. So I drove home empty-handed, having wasted an hour (and 30 miles). I'd just hoped for a nice drive and to check out a different garden shop. But this place isn't a garden shop, it's only really set up for dealing with contractors and wholesale operations, not individuals. Again, I wish their web page or the LivingSocial deal had made that clear. So, 1-star experience. However, the price list looks promising. And the just-learned fact that Garden-Ville is the composting and recycling component of Texas Disposal Systems is redeeming.

They sell everything from fill soil to compost to rocks. My first problem is that my truck is just a 90's mini truck. They don't sell soil by the half yard. I tried putting a yard of their Superior Soil in my truck and about a half yard in, the truck couldn't take any more. The guy was cool enough to stop filling the truck and he charged for about a half yard. Would be nice if I could just get a half yard. My second problem is that their products aren't exactly the greatest. The Superior Soil was acceptable I suppose. I'm used to getting Revitalizer from Natural Gardener, and Gardenville's Superior comes up short in comparison. They did have a decent deal recently on shredded mulch and the mulch was fine. The location has been paring down their offerings. They had a crazy sale to liquidate all of their pots. Now they're selling all of their tools. Not sure if they're focusing on the bulk business or what.
