They offer a real variety of items and the prices are super reasonable. In fact you can count on bargain prices. Check out their web site for dates and times. I went to one last night. They post pics online so I went with my eye on a Happy Days board game. I got outbid but I still enjoyed the experience. You would be surprised what people spend money on. There was a good crowd without being too packed. The fire hall serves dinner as well. It smelled and looked good, very reasonably priced too. The auction is an unique night out. It was also rather eerie, note on the door to call the owner saying he was in the basement and to open the door. The place looked haunted and the old man was sort of creepy. Mainly light fixtures , chandeliers, some metal ware, so if you're in the market for vintage lamps or ceiling lights, you just may find it, if you can navigate the disarray. He is one of the nicest and knowledgable dealers I have dealt with. He was invaluable to me when I refurbished my 1892 Victorian home. I was able to replace all the "creepy" new fixtures they had put in the house with beautiful gaslight fixtures as the house was built with. He helped me customize fixtures from his vast "eerie" storage of stock. His shop might not meet your "white glove" treatment for cleanliness but he is always willing to help those customers that are serious antiques shoppers and not ones looking to try their hands writing gothic novel. This was such a cute little antique shop we stumbled upon while staying in Niagara! The staff was super kind and even wrapped the glass carefully and put it in a box for me. Since the first time I ever walked into her store, a few years ago, this lady always has what I need and just what I am looking for. Priced right antiques, folk art, country art, useful things, spoil yourself things, linens,candles, kitchenware, floral arrangements, sleds!, I could go on. This store is right in the heart of the Clarence Hollow and is worth stopping in to browse and visit and mmmmmmm just smell. A light and pleasant scent is in there although I cannot for the life of me identify it. Starrgate General sells something for everybody and Jane's eye can help with decor dilemna.
