UPDATE: IT HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS AND I STILL HAVENT GOT PAID FROM WORKING!!! Worked Disney event with this company and it was the worst experience. I have never worked for a staffing agency so this was my first time and the person that I had direct contact with, Ana Cruz, was terrible. Communication was terrible. Instructions terrible and now that I am trying to submit my hours she is continuously shorting me hours claiming that we took lunch BUT I NEVER DID smh. She was never there on site to help us through the process or to check if we were getting proper breaks/lunch. She assumed that the other agencies would do that, but every time I requested if I should be going on lunch they would tell me that they'll tap me out for lunch and they never did smh. Just disappointed in this rep I had and she really did not represent Kelly Services well. this is the first and last time I will be going through Kelly Services and Ana Cruz. She ruined this experience for me and not worth it at the end of the day. read more

Unresponsive. I've had pretty good experiences with staffing agencies until this one. Recruiter (Daisy) called me repeatedly to set up an interview and afterwards didn't bother to follow up. A recruiter at Accounting Principals keeps in touch withe three years after placing me, don't waste your time with this agency. read more

I had the pleasure of having Lisa Norton as my recruiter and I am SO grateful to her. From the start she has gone out of her way to help me. She goes above and beyond for her clients. I love the job she placed me at. She got the pay rate I was looking for and she had to negotiate that with the employer. She has helped me SO much. It was a time in my life where my family and I were really struggling and she called out of the blue with a job opportunity that I am so grateful for. I can not thank her enough. I applied for a customer service job back in November through their website. A week later a lady contacted me asking me so many questions, i actually thought it was an interview. She let me know that Caremore in Cerritos was hiring and that I could begin in December because i have the experience. But first i had to sign a document allowing them to represent me. I did what she asked me to do. I then come to find out that she NEVER sent my resume to Caremore HR and that Caremore was no longer hiring. What a farce. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars too. Alison Kasterko was my recruiter, and she left me without work for almost 2 months. I had been calling in every week to see if there was work available, and she told me a few times she would call me back and never would call back. I gave her working phone numbers for her to reach me by so there should have been no excuse for why she couldn't reach me. She told me some inconsistent bullshit stories about why she had not been calling me in for work; first she said it was because my phone was disconnected (I gave her a working phone number to reach me by before that phone even got disconnected) then she said she had not been calling me in for work because I said that I didn't like the work she sent me to go do, which was order pulling. I don't know where she got this bullshit from that I said I didn't like order pulling work, because I never said, implied or insinuated in any way, shape or form that I did not like order pulling work. And if I really did say that I did not like order pulling work, then she could have called me in to do other work that she verified that I qualified for, which is retail, customer service and clerical work. Staffing agencies period are not good to use to get a job, so unless you want to be sitting around not working, then apply at Kelly Services of Long Beach, as I guarantee you will be work-free. If you want to work, then just try to get a regular job like I did (I have a regular job now and I will never look at another staffing agency again). It is worth it for your future to not use a staffing agency, especially Kelly Services of Long Beach, to get a job. read more
