Karen is an amazing woman that truly cares for these little entities and it shows when you actually bring your new family member home! I've taken my girls to two other vets in the past, and I always felt like they were overlooked, even though those places claimed to treat exotics. That's never been the case here. The doctor is patient, kind, and takes the time to really care for every animal he sees. It's honestly so hard to find a vet and staff who make both you and your pet feel safe, heard, and cared for--but this team does exactly that. I went the day after Christmas to do my meet and greet and spent an hour with her asking questions. I never felt rushed. I never felt like I was irritating her, she was just fabulous. Everything this rescue does seems to be top-notch. They even feed a high and more expensive food which completely impressed me because puppy nutrition is so important. And I told my neighbor to take her to the vet, you know what she said? "I can't afford the vet. money is tight right now" how can you adopt a pet when you're financially struggling the poor dog is scratching in pain. Im sure my neighbor is not the only person out there, my cousin works in the vet hospital and tells me issues from clients just like my neighbors . I get it that pets need homes and rescue from being euthanized but cmon really? Don't put yourself on adopting a pet knowing you don't have the money, it's dumb and selfish, putting the pet in hope of happiness. This is also why pets end up going back to the shelter.

oh boy, where to even start!! i found this shelter by looking up "free cats" lol, because my dad…read moresaid we could get another cat if he didn't have to pay for it. i stumbled across the cats in need website, and saw that they offered service hours to teens who fostered cats for them. of course, i was 100% interested in this opportunity!! i sent an email, got contacted and eventually i ended up fostering a 2 year old cat who had just finished raising her kittens. now, obviously, i fell in love with this cat and adopted her within the first few weeks. all the team members were so nice and welcoming to me when i went in to fill out paperwork, i decided to ask if they needed any volunteers for their adoption shows. they said yes, and long story short i started my journey with cats in need! I've always felt so welcomed here, whether im helping set up tables and cages for adoption events, or im just having a casual conversation with the lovely ladies who run the event when things get slow. I can really tell they care about every cat that crosses their path, and they make sure the homes these cats go to are the perfect fit for them. i can see how hard this shelter tries to make sure all cats have a happy and safe life, and it really makes a difference in these animals lives. overall: I highly recommend this place. good quality cats, good quality care, good quality prices :) they really are in it for the animals here, and thats the best part of this place if you're ever considering getting a cat, for any reason, i suggest you go here first

I was put in touch with the amazing foster parents who are so kind and open and helpful With giving me all the information about the puppy. I went to get my puppy today and she's absolutely perfect! All of her vaccines have been done she is spayed I couldn't have asked for more. Mandy communicated with me throughout the week about when I could get her and was very clear about her expectations from me as well. I'm grateful I found a rescue that really cares for their animals and doesn't just adopt them out to anybody. I would highly recommend them and would adopt from them again

I spent hundreds of dollars on two pets that were made to seem mine, but it was apparent that when they arrived to my home with the dogs, they had no intention of leaving them. The contrary to what I was told. This has been the most traumatic experiences in my life. These people hide behind their self righteous beliefs of saving animals lives and finding them forever homes when they're really discriminating against people and protected classes.

My Belle looks super cute, and they gave her the dog bob I wanted. The place itself is clean. The staff there are all friendly. I will likely take her back next time for grooming. They have cats, dogs, and rabbits. I had the chance to walk a couple of the dogs when meeting them and ask the nice manager questions about the animals. I will be back to visit or volunteer. I know it's a shelter and the animals can get dirty but I do think a couple of them needed a bath but otherwise it's a great shelter with love for the animals. They do their best rescuing from other shelters. All the animals are super friendly I think that goes with caring for them each day they are good with people. My friend got his dog Remy from here and he's the best pup in the world. Would definitely recommend. The white bunny Sam has been here for a year they said she is a white bunny with red eyes and so very very sweet. If anyone is looking for a bun bun she was a really sweet bun.

We were sitting in the car outfront. She was then told to leave and escorted toward the door. The staff member, Denise if that is her true name was beyond rude and disrespectful. There was no sign posted stating that minors were not allowed inside without an adult. If there is such a policy, it should be clearly posted and communicated respectfully instead of embarrassing a child. I was also disappointed with the condition of the facility. There was a strong odor of urine throughout the building, and it appeared dirty during my visit. This is the third time we have visited and it always is the case. I understand businesses may have policies, but customers--and especially minors--should be treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Our experience instead was met with dispresect, unprofessionalism and even hurt my child's feelings. I would never recommend this location for anyone. In my opinion the owner/ manager should definitely terminate or prevent this worker from ever working there again.
