I got an acrylic full set and niece got nails and toes in the kids princess chair. They were so nice. And nails aren't too thick, they're smooth, perfect and even.

10/10 experience. I was in and out at the shop and customer service was top tier. Hannah did a great job on my nails and my pedicure was so relaxing.

This is my first time coming to this salon based on a recommendation and I wish I could say my experience was more positive. After 2 hours for a manicure and a pedicure I did have higher expectations. I plan to ask for Michelle next time. Here are the positive and negatives. I was able to call and set up an appointment in the morning for a pedicure and manicure with polish. The facilities are nice and tidy. The manicure and pedicure were good, and problems did not arise until the polish. I originally wanted a painted French tip and I was told my nails were too short. No worries, I went with a nice pink nail polish instead. Kelly sprayed a bottle of some sort of chemical which got in my left eye and stung badly. I suppose my pain could be seen as something comical because she laughed about it. Kelly had a difficult time with the polish and kept putting it in a machine after a few passes of the brush. As she was painting them I pointed out how patchy and bumpy the polish came out. I offered to pick a different nail polish color if the one I picked wasn't working well for Kelly. Kelly said it looks like that because it's not shelliac and would look better with a top coat. The picture I took was with the top coat and it did not look good at all. I was very unhappy with it because I wanted my nails to look nice for a evening event I am going to. Tim offered me a different color and Kelly had a difficult time until Tim helped her with it. Ultimately Kelly left so Tom took over. Tim also repainted my toenails so they would match my fingernails. Tim did a good job. Overall, it was fine. A pedicure and manicure for $40, but for 2 hours I would have expected to leave a lot happier than I did. I also wonder how the original nail polish was seen as "okay". Maybe I caught them at a bad time on a Tuesday morning.

Glow in the dark. Is super bright. 10/10 I recommend.

Staff wore masks but did not enforce others to wear masks. Kelly, who did my dip set, injured my finger with the clippers. Didn't apologize for anything. Just kept on going. My nails look great! There's no complain there. I had also asked for a pedicure and when Tim asked which one, Kelly answered for me. I wanted shellac, but I guess the basic pedicure is only regular nail polish. I really wanted the paraffin treatment since I know my feet are super dry, but Tim and Kelly seemed put off by my pedicure request so I didn't say anything. Or attempt to request something other than the basic pedicure. That was probably the only disappointing part of my experience.

Very clean and warm staff -- will return! Basic mani + pedi was $40! My mom did have a bit of an issue with the lack of cuticle removal for her pedi, and my friend did feel as if her manicurist was a bit rough with her acrylic/shellac set but I was very happy with my services!

I got a dip mani and a deluxe pedi. My dip set came out amazing. My nails and cuticles entered looking crazy and left looking fabulous. Kelly did them and If I am in the area again and need my nails done, I will make sure I come here and request Kelly. Now, my pedi was "just ok". A younger lady did it and it seemed she may have been new. She seemed confused at times. My massage was weak, the two ladies next to me seemed to get a much longer and better quality massage. She used the stones for just a minute or two. Also, one of the towels she used was room temperature. I told her but she didn't do anything about it. I wouldn't come back to her or recommend her. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, especially for an amazing dip set. Ask for Kelly, I assume she will he busy so I recommend making an appt.

My 4th consecutive visit here so this place definitely warrants a good review. They're clean, quick, and I always leave pretty satisfied with my nails & toes. Prices are a little steep, but they're one of the few places that actually use 90% of the tools from a new or sterilized package. They also don't make a lot of conversation with you to keep the place a relaxing environment which I appreciate after a long day at work. One gripe I have (mainly my fault) is some of my nails are crooked so what looks straight to them looks off to me. Luckily, I always get dipping nails so I can quickly file it down at home. Oh one more thing, sometimes their wet warm towels smell gross. Dipping nails are $40 & cuticle trim ($5) is not included. $24 for basic pedicure. read more

I'm not from this area and usually get my nails done with my tech in the Montrose area. I found Kelly's Nails & Spa on yelp and the glowing reviews had me interested. This place is clean, cozy and full of very friendly staff. I usually get shellac on my nails but wanted to try dipping powders instead. I sent them a photo of what I wanted and I'm very happy with the results! There are some inconsistencies with the shaping of the nails- but it's minor. And the prices, for the quality of work, can't be beat!! Overall, I highly recommend this place! I'll be in this area for a few weeks so I definitely intend on going back and having another dipping powder set. It's so cool to watch. If you're looking for a new nail salon, check this place out! read more

Loved this place. My nails turned out beautiful. I got a pedicure and when I left I noticed they were a little funky and some of the color had speared off. I went back and the fixed it right away. Highly recommend everyone was super friendly :) read more

GREAT experience! I got the Dipped powder for my first time and the $28 pedicure, i am 7.5 months pregnant and was looking for a nail salon near me where I could relax and get pampered which I did! Customer service was amazing, really sweet, professional and caring staff. The atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and smelled more like a spa than a nail salon (chemicals) which was good for me and baby (: I was very happy with the service and unlike other salons they aren't trying to scam you from your 15% first time discount, they actually remind you and apply it! I highly recommend this place! I am very picky when it comes to my nails, and both my technicians took their time with my services and made sure I was always comfortable and satisfied with my nails, which I definitely am. read more

I just visited for the first time. They are very customer service oriented and the store is super clean. It has a peaceful environment and the pedicure was thorough. They don't cut corners or charge extra for little thing like other salons. Quality salon. Fair price. Great experience. Make an appointment ahead of time. They have limited staff. Wow. Just wow. I've been in customer service since 1995 & I can tell when a business really cares about their customers' experience. From the time when the owner answered my call requesting a full set & pedi, to the text & phone call reminders I received, to him greeting me at the door as I walked in, I was already impressed before the services began. I was led straight to my ready pedicure chair, given a cold bottle of water, and Tina started my pedicure while Kelly began my full set. Tina is amazingly attentive, not only massaging in each item she applied to my legs & feet, but REALLY massaging. Usually I can't get a nail tech to rub hard enough but she did without me having to ask even once, and instead of just rubbing while not paying the slightest bit of attention as others have done, she massaged with a purpose, hitting every sore & tender area (even my knees!) & making me melt into my seat. And, unsurprisingly, she paid excellent attention to detail on my pedicure, going back multiple times to refine certain things, even clipping the callous I keep getting on my left second toe. Kelly had the patience to wait until my old set was fully soaked off, then proceeded to do one of the prettiest American hombrés I've seen. She even clipped my cuticles (& didn't charge extra.) Then the owner gave me a $5 promo for being a new customer. I can honestly say I don't remember the last time I enjoyed my nail service this much. I have found my new nail place & my two new favorite nail techs! :) read more

I was looking for nail salons around my house and found a couple through Yelp. I ended up choosing Kelly's, despite the competitor having a larger number of reviews, because I saw pictures of how well they took care of previous customers' cuticles. [At the time, there were only 12 reviews, but all were 5 stars! My review is just overdue, haha] I walked in and Tim greeted me. I had a shellac manicure done by Kim (?) I believe. They were both really nice. Tim brought me a little water bottle and asked if I'd like anything else to drink. Tim talked with me the entire time, and while Kim didn't talk too much, she did well with my nails! When I finished, they gave me a 15% discount since I was a first time customer. My nails lasted 2.5 weeks before I started to see any chipping at all, and I even use my hands and wash them often at my job. I don't get my nails done very often, but Kelly's is less than a 5 minute drive from my house, so I'll be sure to come whenever I do need my nails done~ read more

I arrived a few minutes before opening. I was asked if I had an appointment and I did not. I was told they couldnt take me without an appointment because they were booked. I was asked to come back in about 3 hours which I declined. I ended up going to one of MANY other nail places around who was happy to take me as a walk in. So if you want to go here make sure you make an appointment eventhough their sign says walk ins are welcome they are clearly not. I reccomend changing their sign to by appointment only. They have lost a customer. read more

Customer Service is AMAZING. I want to start this review by clarifying this is not my go to nail salon, it was my first time. I was desperate to find the perfect nail technician to do the nail design I wanted, something very festive for my birthday (last photo). I must state the obvious which the result was not exactly the same but the idea was achieved, and I am so thankful for how he tried so hard to understand what I wanted and did something similar. Now, my cuticles are very sensitive and I did get irritated when he tried to clean them. If you see the pictures the middle finger looks red but I must say that he fixed the problem right away. He was SUPER KIND about this issue. Most nails salons will not care if they hurt you or did not do what you wanted, language barrier makes everything very uncomfortable, be he tried really hard to make me a happy costumer. read more

I had been once before and liked it enough, so decided to come here when my fiance and I decided to treat his mom to a pedicure. I usually walk in most places, but since it was three people, two pedicures and a manicure, we called shortly after opening to set up a time. We were asked to come in half an hour later... it wasn't ideal, but we agreed. We walked in right at our appointed time and every technician was occupied. I knew immediately we'd have to wait but wasn't too concerned. My future mil was seen pretty quickly, but my fiance had to wait half an hour for them to start. His technician was very apologetic but was trying to put him off even longer, but he had let her know it was unacceptable as we were starting to run short on time. Another 10-15 minutes later someone FINALLY walked over to see what service I was waiting on (gel shellac manicure and eyebrow wax). At that point I was pretty annoyed and would have held up the whole group if I had opted to have the services especially as they STILL didn't have an open technician. Only one of the customers that had been there when we arrived had left, which means those people had essentially walked in minutes before us. Quality wise the pedicures were fine and the technicians were professional though a bit rough. Not worth the long wait is mostly what my mil and fiance said. The place itself is small and looks pretty clean, but I don't recommend coming here and expecting any kind of timeliness. They actually took another walk-in before they even started on my fiance (the reason they tried to make him wait even longer) so this is a classic case of management not caring about customers and only focusing on their bottom line. There are way too many nail salons in the area, including some really good ones, for anyone to have to keep frequenting those that don't treat customers well. It's a shame, too, because I just moved back to this side of town and the location was super close to me and now I will not go back. read more

I got shellac done here and I really like how my nails came out. Kelly did an amazing job! The place is really clean and the staff was super friendly! Tim conversed with my friend and I, and also gave us a reward card and discount for being new customers. I have been to several nail salons around Spring, and they are either too expensive, or they do a poor job. I would definitely recommend this place as an affordable option for shellac and an overall friendly experience! read more

I cannot say enough positives about this lovely, small nail salon. The professionalism beats any place I've frequented over the past 30 years; living in the Klein area. Every customer is greeted as a VIP... whenever I called to schedule appointments, I can be accommodated quickly, and even if I text they have taken the extra time to note my name and phone number so that I am personally greeted ..The environment is pleasant, extremely sanitary, and the work is exceptional.. the customer servantry is stellar! I only regret not having found this place sooner. Each time I leave I feel like I have been bathed in comfort as if I have been to therapy! I highly recommend this salon. Tried this place again and got the regular polish versus shellac since I plan on having these on for the weekend only. Didn't realize this until I was home and the nails were complete dry, but you can clearly see the poor second coat of the polish job on my nails. This was noticeable for all my fingers....horrible. Not recommended. read more

I was in the hunt of a decent nail salon and came across Kelly's on YELP!! If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. When you walk in you are greeted by a gentleman and a smile. Then greeted by all the nail techs. The place does not smell like your typical nail salon with all the strong smells of acrylics and nail polishes. Also no loud radio music playing, with overly loud children. Matter of fact, they have soft day spa music playing, with a tv on but on mute showing the caption. As far as the actual service, I would have to say it's no less than remarkable. Michelle did my manicure with shellac and another lady did my pedicure. They are both very very good and I would recommend everyone to get their nail and feet done at Kelly's read more

I easily made an appointment through Yelp the day before. The reception worker is extremely polite and helpful, and I appreciated the discount for first-time customers. There was even a follow up message thanking me for coming. The services were really great and the technicians were extremely understanding and helpful when the color I selected did not turn out how I wanted. The main pro to this place for me is that they don't feel like it's necessary to overly engage in conversation. I really enjoy having a quiet pedicure/manicure. That's not to say they were unfriendly at all! I just think they respect that some people prefer a relaxing service with no unnecessary small talk. Fantastic nail salon! I have been non stop working for the last 3 months and I decided I needed to treat myself. Had to come back to my favorite nail salon and they did not disappoint! I walked in for a gel pedicure and they sat me right away. The chairs were just as comfortable as I remember. I picked a back massage setting to help get rid of the tension in my back while Mary ran the water. They made sure it was the perfect temperature and handed me a large selection of gel colors to pick from. Today I went with a sky blue color and asked if they could add polka dots. Mary did the pedicure first before all the extras. She paid such amazing attention to detail and cleaned up my cuticles and dead skin. She trimmed the nails back to a reasonable length and made my feet look so nice. Then she applied the gel and went back and forth between the feet making sure each nail was covered correctly. Again she paid amazing attention to details and made sure the gel was even and covered the toes. Everything looked so clean, crisp, and neat. She applied the white polka dots and made a very cute pattern that matched on both feet. After the nails were dried with the UV light she began the stone massage, oils, lotions, paraffin wax, and hot towels. I was relaxed and very pampered. At the end she gave me a really nice shoulder massage. The man who runs the place came over during my visit and remembered me. He thanked me for coming back and told me he missed seeing me come it. This place is so friendly. I can't wait to come back again. I Highly recommend their services read more

Hidden gem! Absolutely the BEST nail salon in the area with the BEST prices. I called so many places about how much a dip overlay on my natural nail would be and got prices well over the price at Kelly's. They have SO many colors and everyone there is so friendly. The attention to detail and the speed they are able to work at are truly impressive. I won't go anywhere else! I should add I've been here 10+ times now and have had ZERO complaints about my dip manicure or gel toes & I am very particular. Kelly is amazing (I've only ever used her for my dip nails because they were perfect every time) & each person who has done my toes has been exceptional as well. read more

This place is a hidden jewel! I am VERY PLEASED with this location! Was nervous because they closed at 7 and I went in at 5:30 to get dipped nails and a full service pedicure and did not feel rushed out the door. Both ladies were very detailed on what they both were doing and I couldn't have asked for better service for the price I paid. I live in Katy but it's worth the drive. I have tried many spas in my area but no one comes close. I am super picky and Kelly does a beautiful job every time. Very nice place with a excellent group of people working there. Just recently moved to the area and was looking for a new nail place. Did some research online and decided to get this place a try. I scheduled an appointment online and it was made very quickly. On the day of my appointment I got stuck at work and ended up being late but they were very accommodating and still were able to do my nails. Kelly did my nails and did a fantastic job. Even when I had to come back the next day to get my nails shortened because they were a touch too long, they were able to do it quickly for no additional charge. This place is very nice, clean and pleasant and everyone who works there is nice and knows people by name. I definitely think I found my new nail place! read more

Now I know why they have amazing reviews. Everyone is very personable and take extra time to do the little things. I have perfectly shaped nails!! I feel like all the places I have gone don't pay close attention to this. They also don't charge for a full set of dipped nails when you are refilling. I got a bit confused and almost ended up going up the stairs, but decided to save myself possible embarrassment and just asked. The women at the front directed me on how to contact Monique for my appointment while I waited in the lobby. As for the entire experience, Monique gave me a sit down of the products she used, some useful tips, and answered any questions I had. While being waxed, she was very informative about what was going on as well as entertaining! It's weird to say, but I actually enjoyed coming here to get waxed. There was lots of conversation that helped me get my mind off of what was going on, and I actually felt little to no pain during the whole process. Nothing bad to comment on at all. I'll be coming back for another appointment in the future and do recommend any first timers to visit her and make an appointment on her website. Self-proclaimed nail snob here. Mani/pedis are not only my guilty pleasure and bi-weekly relaxation treat to myself, but well-manicured nails are also required in my customer-facing line of work. For those reasons, it's important to me to find a great nail technician who consistently provides a wonderful experience and lasting mani/pedi. Kelly does just that. She has moved salons twice in the 3 years since I found her, and without question I followed her. She (obviously) owns this salon now. I have referred many friends and coworkers to Kelly, and she does not disappoint. She is thorough, patient, takes her time, and attentive to every detail. She works to make sure you are happy with her services, and she takes the time to get to know you. The new salon is clean, organized, comfortable and peaceful. They use plastic liners on the pedi bowls and sterilize all tools, if they use them more than once (most they just throw away after 1 use). Plus - she gives killer back/leg massages with every mani/pedi! read more

We're so happy to have found Kelly's Nails & Spa. We were wanting mani and pedi appointments before going on holiday but also wanted someplace close to the airport and found it via Yelp reviews. The staff accommodated is last minute and did t rush us even though we were late for our appointment due to traffic and construction lane closures. The ladies who did our mani and pedi services were amazing and did a wonderful job. They were kind, humble, gracious, accommodating and infinitely patient. I can't recommend this salon enough. I arrived at Kelly's Nails & Spa and was greeted warmly by everyone. Lee treated me to a wonderful and relaxing pedicure. She was very professional and friendly. I had nails applied, and Kelly was my manicurist. Kelly and Tim gave me advice as to which application would be best for me. Kelly took her time and applied the most beautiful nails with a French manicure which was one of the best I have ever had. The shop is very nice, clean, and soothing. When it was time to pay Tim made me aware he would give me a discount since I found their place through yelp. It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back. I journeyed all the way to Kelly's from The Woodlands because of the spectacular reviews they were receiving! I was attending the Lana Del Rey concert and wanted my phalanges to look phab... This place is very honest and sweetly hospitable. Every cost is broken down on their menu! Just visit the website! Even though I was set on a beautiful metallic purple nail polish I went with Tim and Kelly's shellac recommendation! (Nail chart says #129 but I believe the bottle said #130, for those interested) The color is stunning and for only 2-3 dollars more TOTALLY WORTH IT. Kelly sculpted my nails into a coffin shape very quickly but delicately. She truly has an artist's touch. I love every thing about my nails. Thank you guys! I called over at the last minute to see if they could fit me in. I scheduled a pedi within 30 min. When I got there, I found the atmosphere pleasant and clean. I love how they have small privacy rolls between the chairs that give you the feeling of privacy, but without feeling alone. I enjoyed the little extras, like the bottle of cold water they provided along with they wonderful comfy chair and a menu to select your services!! Tim was the technician that did my pedi, and he did a great job as he made very pleasant conversation with me. I have been to numerous nail shops and this one is an experience! I requested an appointment on Wednesday for Thursday via email. I got a quick response and an appointment. When I arrived a little early, I was greeted was a smile and was taken care of immediately. The girls who worked on me brought over a cold water and were extremely pleasant and attentive. This was my first visit to Kelly's and it won't be my last. I had a mani/pedi and was very happy with the work they did. The shop was clean and had a very nice relaxing atmosphere. I also received an unexpected 15% discount as a first time customer! This is honestly one of the best nail salons I have ever been to! I walked-in and had no wait. They didn't try to make me pay for services I didn't want, but instead they were extremely helpful in doing my nails EXACTLY how I wanted. Tim (the manager) did my pedicure while another nail tech did my pink and white acrylic set. You definitely get your money's worth here. It was extremely clean and they use sterilized metal tools and they use the file and pumice only once which is great. They also didn't rush and asked if i wanted anything to drink, which was great! Kelly did my nails and she did such an amazing job! It's the first time I've gotten acrylics done and not been able to find a flaw. She nailed the shape perfect and was super nice and gentle as well. I didn't have to wait long at all and I didn't feel like she rushed the service like previous people I've seen. I've been to Kelly's nails & spa twice now. The employee's are very friendly and accommodating. I got a shellac manicure both visits, the first one lasted over two weeks without any peeling or cracking. The second unfortunately only lasted about 8 days before it started peeling. I did get a very dark purple with three coats so this may have had something to do with it. I'll still be back for a third try because of how great the prices are and for the welcoming atmosphere. read more

Recently moved to the Spring area and have been trying to find a new nail salon after going to the…read moresame nail tech for over 10 years. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment. I came in for a basic pedicure (about $34) and was the only customer in the salon. Even with no one else there, the service felt rushed and lacked effort. The tech was very light-handed and didn't thoroughly remove the dead skin from my heels. To make matters worse, once my pedicure was finished, I was asked to move to the drying station instead of drying in the pedicure chair. I was working during my appointment, so I had to pack up and move my laptop, devices, and other belongings for no apparent reason, despite the salon being empty. It was unnecessarily inconvenient. As my polish was drying, I noticed my heels were still rough. When I pointed it out, I was told I had chosen the basic pedicure and that I "needed a cheese grater." I disagreed. My (80 year old) longtime nail tech had never used a cheese grater and consistently leaves my heels smooth using standard tools and proper technique for my basic pedicure. What disappointed me most was that they refused to correct the issue, even though there were no other customers waiting. It would have taken just a few extra minutes to make things right. A basic pedicure should leave your feet feeling smooth, and good customer service means addressing reasonable concerns when they're brought up. Unfortunately, this salon did neither, and I won't be returning. Guest relations go a long way

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and treated professionally. I received builder gel, a pearl pedicure, and eyebrow service, and everything was done with care and attention to detail. My nails look beautiful, the pearl pedicure was relaxing and thorough, and my brows came out clean and perfectly shaped. The shop was clean, organized, and had a welcoming vibe. Customer service was on point, and the quality of work definitely matched. I will absolutely be returning.

Water was all she needed and that I should've accepted not expect a discount or deduction. Yelling and cutting me off the whole time she was disrespectful because I was calm and quiet. I asked her over 3 times to not cut me off or yell. It wasn't until I raised my voice and cut her off that she STFU. I've been a loyal customer for 8-10years driving for over an 40 minutes for their nail tech and I spent $1,000s of dollars to be publicly humiliated for asking for sanitation!

When I explained that soaking my hands in a bag of acetone irritates my skin, the technician dismissed my concern, saying that wrapping each finger individually "takes too long." I calmly expressed that I needed to be mindful of my body and health -- something I don't believe should be up for debate during a service. Rather than accommodate this in a respectful way, she wrapped my entire hand in a large piece of foil like a mitten and poured acetone over it. At the same time, both she and a colleague began speaking to each other in another language, and while I can't say for certain, it felt clear they were speaking about me. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. I made the decision to leave, and when I tried to dry my feet (as I had just started a pedicure), the technician abruptly pulled the towel away, saying it was "only for hands." I walked out with wet feet and a really negative impression. My daughter was with me and even she commented on how tense and unpleasant the interaction was. She told me she appreciated that I stood up for myself, which, at least, was a small silver lining. I wasn't trying to be difficult -- just trying to take care of my skin -- and I left feeling dismissed and disrespected. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone who values being heard and treated with basic courtesy.
