Kelp is easily my favorite spot to go to in OOB. They have the best selection of reasonably priced clothes, gifts, home goods, and they even have a charm bar in the back of the store! They're also pet friendly! We always bring our sweet pup in the store and he loves all the special attention he gets while visiting Kelp I always experience top notch customer service when I visit. The owners of the store are hard working, kind, and put their heart and souls into not only providing an excellent shopping experience, but they invest in their community as well! They are truly a gift to OOB. The cherry on top is that they are directly connected their sister shop, Cafe 64. The cafe is hands down the best spot in OOB for breakfast/lunch. My favorite OOB shop!! They have the best gifts, jewelry, cutest clothes, hand bags and, much much more!! They have wicked cute bathing suits for reasonable prices. Also feature clothing items that say - Maine, Salty or, LOBSTA (My fave). The fabric/quality of clothing items are super soft and comfy. I have bought several rings, necklaces, earrings and non of them have tarnished or broke. The quality of the items at Kelp are top notch! Sam (owner) is the sweetest soul and her employees are all super helpful! The charm bar in the back of the store is adorable! Great for parties as well! My mom and I made super cute coastal themed bracelets and necklaces! The charm bar is reasonably priced as well. Highly recommend checking this out!! From the second you walk into kelp you can just FEEL the energy. Between the charm bar, massive moss wall, the staff, and the merchandise - it is just perfect!! It's pretty amazing to walk in there and there really is something to look at in every corner. Each table is perfectly curated to match the vibe and you can tell how much thought and effort came into this place curating kelp. As a local, it's been so great to see another great place added in old orchard. The owners are some of the nicest and kindest people I have ever met. Kelp is literally the cutest, most charming little shop in the heart of OOB. When I visited, I met the owner Sam, who brought her whimsical/surfy/free-spirited energy from the west coast to share with the east coast! My husband and I were vacationing last summer and we came aross Kelp while on a walk. I love me a good boutique style store with variety. Kelp checked all the boxes for me, theres something for everyone! The helpful and super friendly staff made my shopping experience even better. It was so convenient to have a coffee shop next-door which allowed me to shop while sipping on an iced latte. I will definitely be doing some online shopping in the future.
