We had horrible weeds after our last lawn guy ditched us. Called Kemko and the weeds were totally gone within a couple of treatments.

I am beyond upset about my grass. I have complained about my grass turning brown and dying out. A man came out, blamed it on unraked grass and grass cut to low. I purposely told them to skip the next treatment. We raked the grass, put fertilizer down from Home depot, watered and my grass turned green and grower nice. They did a treatment on June 18, 2026. After about 2 weeks we noticed one side getting brown. Time went on, and here is whst my grass is looking like today. We raked and pulled up fast growing dead weeds, barely any dead grass from mowing and my entire lawn is pretty much brown again. I have left a message for them to not come back and plan to email them photos. read more

10/21/25 This is the result of an investment of $4,324 in lawn svc with Kemko Lawn Svc. For the time frames attached. In July 2025 a manager came out and apologized that his lawn spec had sprayed the incorrect chemical on our lawn and said not to worry, "we'll make you whole" and we haven't seen or heard from anyone since. I have been using their services for over a year. Yet, my backyard is in very poor condition. I have observed their tech apply lime twice. Each time, they applied very little over only a very small area of my yard. It is no wonder there are weeds. I recorded the last appointment. It showed what I have referred to above. When I showed the video to one of the owners (Tim), he said (paraphrasing...) the application was fine for my size yard. I believe anyone viewing the recording would disagree. Due to their lack of an honest assessment...and the overpaying I have apparently been making, I have discontinued using this company. I strongly suggest you observe them treating your yard to see if it is adequate and you are getting your true money's worth.. read more

hired kemko to get rid of my weeds. they sprayed roundup and killed my grass and none of my weeds. I would steer clear from this company.

I wanted to take a moment and comment on the level of service Adam gave to my yard in Marietta (West Cobb). I had some difficulty with a company I had been with for 2 years and they burned my lawn with the image of the male organ after I sent photos and complained about their failure to eliminate the weeds in my lawn. Adam arrived AFTER 5pm on a Friday (and I was not his last appointment). He took the time to listen to my concerns, walk my yard, note the boundaries and weed issues and then proceeded to cover my lawn with the prescribed treatment PLUS take an extra step to treat the weeds and I saw results in two days. I have been with Keiko over three years...until today. They have yet to do my entire yard even though they read the notations stating where my boundaries are. Note today from tech was not legible so had to have him call. His response was yes a fungus and no did not know about that part of your yard....not sure when he could get back out. Several call later...once again manager call...what would I want..a company that does it right the first time...already switched to new company as my yard looks the worst in comparisons to my neighbors. Horrible company!!! Rude staff, Jamie and Rachel need a new line of work because they know nothing about customer service. I have had a huge problem with their service, weeds were out of control for awhile, I called several times to complain and was told they can't guarantee their work at 5 treatments. They only talked about increasing the service. They also had notes in their system of conversations that I did not have. They said I mentioned the treatment not working because we had leaves on the ground. I never had this conversation, we had no leaves on the lawn because my son picked them up!! When I disputed this, Jamie hung up on me!! This company is awful!! Please do your research as there are much better lawn care companies around. I switched to a new company with great customer service and my lawn already looks better. read more

What I like about Kemko Lawn Service is they can be trusted to do what they say they will do. I've had several other lawn service providers over the past 20 years that claim to do this or that but come up short. The person from Kemko that services me now is knowledgeable, attentive to the needs, and when he comes he spends the proper amount of time doing the service. And all this for a reasonable price. Quality work doesn't need to be expensive and I'm pleased with the quality that I get from Kemko. I hope to stay with them for awhile. read more

Stumbled on their website upon advice from a friend and requested a free quote. Came home next day to find the quote on my door. Very reasonable price for my huge yard (almost one acre.) The sales rep, Derek has been great so far and super responsive to my million questions. Best of all, the nicest tech showed up today - Sean was very friendly and professional. He sprayed the lawn thoroughly. Even my hard to please husband was happy with the service ( we were home during spray.) if things continue this well, we're definitely sticking with these guys. Helps that there's no high pressure sales gimmicks, either. One happy customer. read more
