When you get lucky, you find a good one that you know you have to keep for future projects. That's Siler Concrete Cutting. Larr, the owner, made initial contact, and his daughter did the scheduling. Very easy process. Family run business with superb efficiency. The highlight, though, was execution by Robert. Robert was on time. He was quick to set up, quick to cut and jack my trench, and surprised me with helping remove the concrete out the back door. Cleaned up with initiative. Ie: I ran a hose in from a bedroom window and across the hallway into the bathroom where the cutting took place. After Robert left, I went to get the hose to run it back, but it was gone. I went outside to see it rerun outside the window and neatly coiled up. Those little details of professionalism shine through the entire time. Like he offered Ear plugs and ensured kids and pets were considered before he started. Robert kept me informed, educated me when I had questions, and offered ideas for attacking my hydrostatic pressure issue from the outside. In the e-mail, I was informed of the standard charges for general handyman work ($185), per hour rates thereafter, cancellation fees etc. I was informed that they will be able to help me with the projects, and they might be able to fit me in as early as the following week. I needed to provide photos and notes so they could better judge project scope, the service location, credit card details, and complete billing information. I responded after three days with details and photos of the work needed, service and billing address and my credit card. Since then, I've been ghosted. Over a period of one week after I responded to their e-mail, none of my calls to them were answered, and no response to my follow-up e-mails or the voicemail I left them. I finally contacted a few other handymen in the area and one of them got the job done professionally.
