I messaged a few Cleveland area Honda dealers through the Honda website in late February 2026. I was looking for a specific trim car. I wanted a 2026 Honda Civic Hybrid Hatchback Sport Touring model in Boost Blue color with BLACK leather interior. I requested to be communicated with ONLY by email and NOT phone. All of the other dealers began hassling me almost daily by phone and didn't seem interested in finding me the specific trim and color combination. They only were concerned with selling what was currently on their lot. Ganley Honda North Olmsted was the ONLY one that followed my request and communicated via email. I NEVER was hassled by phone, text, or voicemail. They even said there would not be a problem finding the exact spec car I wanted, since they did not have one available. Salesman Emmanuel (Manny) Verdino scheduled a test drive for 2/25/26 in a similar trim level Civic. Once I decided it was the car for me, I put down a $500 deposit to start the dealer locate process. Manny kept email contact throughout the entire process. Since that exact spec Civic is not widely available, most Ohio dealers were not willing to do a dealer trade for such a high demand car. After a thorough search, they were finally able to locate one in Lockport NY (225 miles away!!) a few days later. The car arrived at Ganley on 3/4/26 and I was scheduled to sign and drive for my car on 3/6/26. Manny even willingly came in on his scheduled day off to have me sign the paperwork. That was a huge convenience for me. The sign & drive process went off without a hitch. There was absolutely NO high pressure upsells and the price details I was quoted on 2/25/26 was honored with absolutely no changes. Matt Maier in the finance department made the overall process even easier. He also secured me a lower APR with Honda Financial and a massive discount on the extended warranty. I would HIGHLY recommend going to Ganley Honda of North Olmsted, and specifically Manny Verdino, for all of your Honda needs. read more

I was very disappointed with the recent customer service I experienced at this Honda facility. Two weeks after they fixed my condenser in my Honda civic, the entire transmission went out (which seemed odd since there were no signs and it's a 2018 model). They quoted me almost 8k. Because that's a lot of money, I had my dad who is a mechanic and my friend who is an engineer at Honda call to ask some follow-up questions, as I wasn't ready to spend that kind of money without more explanation and they understand cars and Honda builds much better than me. However, Michael was very rude to them and blamed me, stating maybe I didn't get the regular maintenance and that's why it was out. Finally he said "just have her call me when she's ready to make a decision on it". You just never know what you're going to get when you go to a car dealership for service. At least that's what I believed before coming to this dealership. We have a fairly new car, less than a year old and the dealership we bought it from could not get us in to fix a small problem with the panel on the side of the car. Ganley Honda got us in quickly and efficiently and had me out the door in under an hour and didn't charge me a thing. They gave me options to replace the parts, but they repaired them enough so that we could go on family vacation. And they were very reasonable, very responsive, and there's a very comfortable waiting room with drinks and snacks. Not to mention the free Wi-Fi. The customer service that I received at Ken Ganley Honda North Olmsted back on February 28, 2025 was simply terrible and I KNOW that at this point there's really nothing I can do about any of this but thought that someone should know. Javier the financial supervisor is a really slick man, had me and my mother signing paperwork for services that I STILL don't have documentations for, even when I called Honda Financial the customer rep was confused as to why I didn't have documents that should've been given to me before I left the dealership including a jump drive. The car I got only had 15,000 miles on it and he goes and charges me almost $3000 for an extended warranty that again I don't have documentation for, I was given $3500 for a trade in but he went back and charged me $4000 for the trade in amount they actually had to pay. My total loan amount went from $31000 to $37000 based on these ADDED services alone. Needless to say this will be my FIRST and LAST time buying anything from this dealership. read more

Took my car to 3 Honda Dealership in Cleveland and was offered 3,600, 2,500 and ,700 after loan buyout and Ganley was the lowest. Two individuals I worked with were very short and kept pushing to get a new lease when I simply wanted to sell. Bad experience, Great Lakes Honda had lower prices, better trade in and much better service. Also the manager named " Tim" was unbelievably rude. I told him I received higher trade and if he would match and he said verbatim " This is the offer and if you don't like it get off my lot and the cars aren't for you" . I took a test drive with a guy who started making me uncomfortable then confessed he was recently convicted of domestic violence instead of answering my questions about the car. Then the"money guy" refused to show me the numbers but told me, a 20 year veteran loan processor, that my math must be wrong. When the dealership asked for my thoughts I told them I didn't feel safe. They wrote back and stood up for the guy while insulting me. This dealership reeks of misogyny ladies so stay clear. I bought my 2024 Honda Odyssey from them about 8 months ago. I figured I would bring my car to the same dealership I bought it when it had a service issue. My experience was that the service rep I worked with seemed like she did not care about my problem, was generally unresponsive, and unhelpful. When I had questions about the service done to the car, I couldn't get anyone on the phone. When my service rep was unavailable, I tried to call the service manager but it kept going to voicemail and I never was called back. The car we built was 30,357.00 plus destination charge and tax, they came back trying to charge us 5000 ( yes 5k, basically 20% of total car price ) over MSRP and then had the audacity to wanna add a 1300.00 paint protection package on.. NO ONE should pay over MSRP unless its a super limited car. This is a honda hrv ..and we shopped around and a ton of dealerships do not charge over MSRP. Went to have oil changed on my car we purchased at Ganley. Waiting for it to be done and asked the cashier if I am able to get a bottled water. When you go to the "complimentary " area you are told to ask cashier to get items for you. I approached the window and asked about a bottle of water. She never looked up and told me to use the vending machine. So I paid for my water rather than her being disturbed to get up and get me one. 0 for customer service. She truly cared about helping me find a car - I could easily see why she has so many awards for selling cars. Unfortunately, the used car we were negotiating was sold to someone else in the middle of our negotiation. It was extremely unprofessional how the sales manager came over with no apology to say it was already sold after I had already been there for 2 hours working on this. If it was already being negotiated, why did finance run numbers for me in the first place without disclosing this? My time today was completely wasted. Shoddy work was performed at the dealership. Complaint was handled by a shady service advisor Hayden. I was in there to have radar sensor adjusted. I noticed the missing cover for the radar sensor a few weeks later because I haven't touched the car since the service. Called back and showed up in person to voice my concern. Hayden's MO is to string me along long enough for the Honda survey to expire so that it doesn't affect his pocket. First call, I was told the part is on order and call me when it comes in. 3 weeks later, no answer. The second call was ignored. I showed up in person and he has no memory of such conversation. I was looking for some positive equity and to put maybe a few thousand down to get a new Civic lease for around $200 a month. After the usual run around, they came back and claimed all they could give me was $1000 and showed us a write up with the lowest payment being around $300 a month for $7000 more to be put down. Left a message first two times. Called the main desk and asked what is going on, and the lady said they are just busy with other customers. Ok. Called a fourth time and they finally answered. Transferred me to someone else after some more hold music, that said they can't see the vehicle until next week. Do yourself a favor and go to the Toyota dealership down the road. It's the second time I haven't been treated well by Ganley Honda. They lost my business last time for ten years, I decided to try again and they lost it for life. They offered me 37% less on my trade in than Toyota down the street did (over a $4000 difference). They said a couple of surface scratches on a 6 year old car in NE Ohio warranted the price reduction. I asked them for a better number on the trade in or purchase price to see what we could work out, and they immediately came back with the same number to "talk more about it" after we had already discussed at length. They also held onto my keys and I had to ask SIX TIMES for my car keys, which every time they went to get my keys magically the sales manager returned sans keys to "talk more". Toyota came in with their best price immediately on the purchase price and trade in. I was treated with dignity , respect and integrity at Toyota which was refreshing after catching Ganley in several lies and playing the game with them for nearly 5 hours. Ok I didn't buy a Honda here, I actually came for a used Ford Escape that I found on the internet. This was the last place on my list of places to visit while shopping for the particular model and specs I wanted but as the saying goes, "I saved the best for last". The entire store was just remodeled perhaps 6-8 months ago, so everything was sparkling clean. I was stunned that this place was actually open on Sundays! Alas, it was a little busy but I had all you drink bottled water and one of those coffee makers that makes lattes, cappuccinos etc and lots of comfy places to sit and watch TV. Patrick was my salesman, he was a little young but his personality was gold. Super friendly and accommodating, listened to everything I was looking for first and even though he had other people waiting for him, he was patient and took his time to make sure I was heard. I ended up purchasing the car. Because I drove there by myself, Patrick drove my car home for me! Tip: If you go on the Ganley Honda website, sign up for a test drive. Buyer Beware of off brand used vehicle purchases from Ganley. Salesman shared and boasted the great warranty transfer of a 2020 Hyundai with confirmation by manager through Carfax. Upon finalizing the deal with all the paperwork the finance person claimed the was NO transferable Hyundai manufacturer warranty. All I would get would be a 3 month dealer warranty. She then proceeded to try to sell me an overpriced and unnecessary extended warranty to add 1000's to cost. This turned into a 2 hour debate/argument. I left the dealership and did my own research the next day with Hyundai to learn than indeed I was entitled to remainder of a Hyundai warranty. Basically Ganley Honda has no clue on the warranty available on off brand vehicles or they are just trying to sell an unnecessary extended warranty to compensate on a negotiated sale price of car. Service to my car gives me so much anxiety. Words like "stress" and "hassle" come to mind. But my experience at Ganley couldn't have been more the opposite. I booked online to repair my side mirror, as well as to complete several of the CR-V maintenance minders. A service consultant named Curt called me to help find out what parts would be needed, so he could order them and have them ready. He was accommodating and allowed me to text his work phone pictures and a video of the damage so he could identify which parts to order. Upon arrival on the day of my appointment, they greeted me and took my car pretty quickly. They offer a shuttle service within 10 miles that I took advantage of to get to work. During their multi-point inspection, they found an additional need, so they called me and gave me a very detailed explanation and cost breakdown. I opted to do the additional maintenance. They completed everything (and I had a lot!) within a few hours and way ahead of schedule that I told them I would need it by. Check-out went smoothly and everyone was friendly and helpful throughout the whole experience. read more

Had a third party warranty I purchased with my Honda Accord in 2018 from a dealership in New Jersey where I lived at the time. It covered the car battery so when it started losing amperage, I called Ganley, told them I had an extended warranty and wanted to schedule an appointment. The young lady who answered the phone told me in effect "to pound salt." Because it was not a Ganley warranty, they would not honor it. Took the car to Honda of Middleburg Heights. They honored the warranty. No muss. No fuss. Actually were reimbursed for a little more than their quote. They gave me a quote for a Honda CRV EX, (white color) for my daughter, who lives in VA for cash. My daughter wanted a Sonic Pearl gray color. She flew from DC to get the car and when we wanted to buy the car, the sales manager told us that we have to finance through PNC bank for 4.5% rate ( she can pay the loan after two weeks). She was paying by check but the sales manager and the finance person forced her to sign the bank loan. She drove the car to VA but could be able to register for almost 6 weeks because the bank papers didn't arrive to get the title. Caused a lot of trouble to register her car. Sales Manager and staff are total deceit, corrupt, rude and cheat at the Gainley Honda in North Olmsted, OH. They add in $2000 to the selling price, claiming add-in cost for chip shortages.
