P Gagnon has been great from the start dealing first with the salesman, The removal of the prior company's tanks and the installation of theirs. I am mostly a seasonal resident but when I have spent a week or two when it's been cold and I know I am going through more propane then they expect based on my customer profile and billing patterns, I call and let them know and where the gauge is at so they can put me on the schedule for delivery if I need it. They have always been responsive to that, even at the busiest times of the season. They have always been pleasant and answered my questions. I needed service on a Renai heater last year and they did a good job with scheduling and servicing for me. I heard recently that they sold their propane service to another company that wanted to expand into Maine. So far, I have not noticed any difference in the service that I have been getting after that sale which has been some time ago. The same people are answering the phones and delivering the propane and the trucks still bear the company name.

We are going to wait for the estimate from Service Experts and know this won't be cheap. But the service from John couldn't have been better. He explained everything as he was doing it as I watched and chatted with him about it. I hope we have John again and appreciate also that he's a veteran and thank him for his service.

We had a technician come to check a AC unit that was not working. The Freon level was read and…read moredetermined that there would need to be extensive search to determine where there was a leak. It was recommended to replace the unit as it would cost less. The salesperson asked if we would get more quotes we said yes. Glad we did as it was fixed in 30 minutes, instead of replaced for 11,000.00. The second HVAC professional also informed us that the price quoted was extremely high to replace that unit. (Seconded by a 3rd HVAC company.) There were also questions on the Freon reading as the settings did not match the size unit we needed to work on. This was determined by the subsequent HVAC company who looked at our service report, he said none of it made any sense. When I called and requested my 99.00 back as the whole conclusion of the visit by them was erroneous I received a bit of a run around asking for more details. I sent an email with an explanation as to why this was a visit that was a waste and should be complimentary as it was erroneous but no reply.

Eli installed the plumbing and a Samsung mini split system for an ADU I added to my home in 2022…read morewhen I moved my mother out of assisted living to come live with me. The heat and AC from the mini split unit is her sole source of heating and cooling. In June, the unit went down and we used Martel to evaluate the issue. They determined the thermal seal somehow broke, which stopped the unit. They suggested reaching out to Eli to see if he could help us navigate the warrantied part with Samsung. He was unresponsive, then had his office manager send me a dismissive email saying there was nothing they could do. My contractor then contacted him and Eli stated he did not want to help us. We understood we would have to pay for the repair labor but just needed a hand to get the warrantied part. It's disappointing that he doesn't stand behind and support the product he sells. He lost a customer in us and a contractor that will no longer do business with him.
