We ended up going with a local family-owned mover that wasn't the cheapest, but had the best track record and was still affordable. They also offered an option of having moving boxes dropped off which was amazing! It was a huge package of boxes, tape, and markers. Regal Custom Concrete was prompt, priced right and had the best solutions for our family. They understood our concerns and arranged a date to start promptly. Regal Concrete pumped the concrete through an existing window well and they added a vapor barrier on top of the existing exposed crawlspace floor, added fiber mesh to the concrete and rebar for additional strength, treated the ceiling within the crawlspace and finished and polished the new concrete as if it was on our front porch where everyone would see it! They completed the job with no mess - they even vacuumed our basement when they were finished! Within days our home had no residual smells and breathing was easier and healthier! Thanks Regal Custom Concrete. We plan on calling them back out for driveway, sidewalk and patio jobs soon! We highly recommend them to all.

And they know their stuff. I found Johnny through a neighbor a block behind me, that had a major roof repair and some siding replaced. We have similar buildings. He was saying how happy he was with his roofing guy so I gave him a call. He was super fast to reply and came out later that day to check out my roof and give me an estimate. He is very professional, nice and said he'd work with my insurance since I did have shingles and gutters damaged by the last bad storm. Fast forward a week and I got a brand new roof all the way down to the rafters. He tore off all the old layers. I'm guessing it was no picnic as our gang ways are pretty narrow. He had tarps on the ground to make sure no old nails or garbage ended up left behind in my lawn or garden. And he had custom gutters made on the spot to fit my almost 200 year old building. At no extra charge for custom! I did get one more estimate from another builder, Johnny's was a couple grand less, plus he actually called back and showed up when he said he would. Even after I paid him. Honest and trustworthy on top of being good at the work. A rare commodity these days. I'm getting an estimate for the siding now that insurance paid for my new roof! I almost hate to leave a good review because I'm sure he's going to get super busy now just by word of mouth, and I still want my siding replaced. Lol. All of my neighbors saw how good and fast his crew were. They have been asking what I thought about them. Oh yeah, he's licensed and insured too.

Oh boy! What a day of disappointment . Sent photos of a storage unit move and junk removal from…read moredestination point and was quoted flat rate of $400. When they arrived and opened the door, I could see and hear the unpleasant surprise and the comments about "all of the items" were continous which gave me much anxiety and guilt. Patrick mentioned that they had packing supplies to handle fragile items but that I needed to clear out the china cabinet. There was a discrepancy about not wrapping or stuffing those items as I expected and his comment was that I was only paying a flat rate of $400 so supplies were not included. It was also confirmed that he could remove and setup the items similar to how it was. As a reseller, I had a very large box that was necessary for storing my shipping boxes and packing supplies. Since they were trying to make everything fit into one trip, they destroyed the box and claimed it was coming apart. I was nearby and felt that they should have informed me about it before taking action. Patrick informed me that the job was much more than what was anticipated and the photos were not very clear. I agreed to the adjusted rate of $550. There was a $100 increase for addition junk removal that was added prior to pick up day. In my effort to make the junk removal easier, I had put the items closer to the door and posted FB listing for free pick up items. Prior to their arrival, someone stopped by to take some shelving units so other items needed to be moved outside. When the movers arrived, they informed me that rack unit was not going to fit into the space so we needed to bring the load back to the storage unit. The movers couldn't wait for a few items to be put back inside so I left with them. When we arrived, Patrick informed me that since he lost the junk removal job, my rate needed to be increased to $600. I gave them direction and helped with moving the boxes back to the original location but they said they couldn't move everything back to its location. They left leaving several items outside the unit. When I returned to the junk removal destination, I was shocked to see that they had left the big box with stuffing rolled up inside of it for someone else to handle and/or trying to avoid me knowing they destroyed the box as I did not see them leave the garbage. As they mentioned, they did a good job not damaging any items although I have yet to unpack everything to confirm it. I appreciate that they were able to take away some unwanted/garbage items I understand it was a bigger job than was expected and feel both of us received lessons from the experience to make better decisions.
