I scheduled a service appointment through the Ford app on October 21, 2025, for November 7 at 10:00 AM. The arrangement included pickup from my home, servicing, and return of the vehicle. I received multiple reminders leading up to the appointment, which reinforced my expectation that everything was confirmed. By 11:00 AM on the day of service, my vehicle had not been picked up. I called the dealership and was informed--rudely--that no one was available for pickup. When I asked if I should bring the vehicle in, I was told to do so. Upon arrival, the representative attempted to locate someone named Bobby, who never spoke with me. I was then told my appointment had been canceled because "someone called and canceled," which is completely inaccurate. The individual's demeanor was dismissive, unprofessional, and discriminatory. As a Hispanic customer, I felt I was treated differently and disrespected. The representative even smiled when I expressed my dissatisfaction, which made the situation worse. I requested to speak with a manager and was told there was no manager available. I then went to the sales department, where the sales manager listened to my concerns and attempted to assist. He confirmed that the service department could not accommodate me and assured me that the service manager, Jim Morgan, would contact me by Monday or Tuesday. This experience was unacceptable. Kenly Ford must improve its communication, honor scheduled appointments, and ensure staff treat all customers with respect and professionalism, regardless of race or background. read more

Took my 2021 Ford Escape, a company car to my independent mechanic for a check engine light. The issue was identified as an emissions component, which "might" be covered under Ford's 8 year / 80,000 mile. So under the advice of my mechanic, I went to Kenly Ford to see if that part was covered. When the service advisor came back, he said it was NOT covered under Ford's warranty, but they had the part $230 and could install it for about $700 out the door. I questioned the total and it included a $150 diagnostic fee that I was never told about ahead of time. The problem had already been identified ahead of time and just wanted to know if it was covered. So, I bought the part and paid the $150 diagnostic fee after voicing my displeasure and took it back to my mechanic for installation. They did appear compassionate with other clients as I overheard their conversations with the service advisor. I also asked about an open recall on my particular vehicle and was told they checked for that and found nothing. Funny because it was on Ford's own web site that I find out about it. I checked again and it still appears to have the open recall I attached the screenshot from their website below. Can't say if it is a Ford issue here or a Kenly Ford issue, but there shouldn't be conflicting data on a recall. Overall, not a great experience for me and I likely won't be returning for any future service. read more

I bought my car here in 2023. Every time I come back I am blown away with the customer service. Today I was there for a recall on my car, which the service department completed quickly . While I was waiting with my son, who adores super hero's and was dressed as captain America today. Milly, the finance manager, gave him two Batman toys and he was over the moon. Contact this dealership (Kenly Ford) about a used vehicle on their website. The vehicle looked great online and the sales manager and online salesman spoke highly about it. Drove over an hour to be disappointed with the condition, the trim/molding was faded, the wheels were tarnished, and the carpet was stained pretty bad between and under the front seats. The truck had been lifted, manual air bags were added to the rear suspension and the spare tire was missing, non of which were mentioned on the website or phone calls. You could see the truck had been waxed recently because a plenty was left behind. read more

Nice people, very safety oriented regarding the virus. They need to make sure they properly grease the vehicle however. I had oil changed this morning and at least two grease fitting didn't get any grease. I had asked when visiting before if they grease the vehicle. I was told all grease fittings would receive grease. It took an hour and a half to get oil change while I waited so I was disappointed when I found two grease fittings were missed. That was this morning, I called when I got home about my concerns. It's 3:40 PM now and I am still waiting to hear from Kenly Ford. Picture are of the grease zerks that were not greased, I wiped the tip of one the under is untouched. read more

I bought from Kenly, an hour from my home because they had the exact vehicle I wanted. I returned today for "The Works" using a coupon Kenly Ford sent me.I could not be more pleased, all the checks and rotating and changing of oil took about an hour, and they looked at my malfunctioning nav system, and fixed it (let's just say, owner ineptitude) for me! Cannot speak highly enough of the employees at Kenly Ford. I normally don't take time to write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so after my experience. Car buying is generally one of the more stressful things in life, but not at this lot. The gentlemen here are top notch, and take strides to make sure the experience is the most pleasant you've ever encountered, as they did with me. If you want sleazy salesman, with cliche and outdated tactics and stress, look elsewhere. You get the sense very quickly after walking in the door, that not only are they extraordinary at their jobs and honest, but they're just normal down to earth people that done prey on the customer. I bought a 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 from this dealership after seeing it on Autotrader. I paid a lot of money for the car considering what the car is. ($12500). The car is overall nice but many undisclosed issues that should have been noted which will easily ad up to $1000 in repairs. The driver power seat doesn't work, the tach doesn't work, the hood release cable is broken, the ac doesn't blow cold, and the car has an extremely bad exhaust leak. After sending a text and calling the person I purchased the car from (Joe Husick) he never responded to my text or call and I know he read them because he has his read receipts on his iPhone. All I ask for was $400 back to cover half the repairs and got no reply. I don't think that is asking for much. I would expect more from a new car dealership. I am in the car business myself and would help my customers out if they had a problem like this, although I would never send a car out with problems like these. read more

My sales person asked that I write a review and this is a first for me. The overall experience of buying a vehicle was less stressful than I expected and I was able to make a deal and feel comfortable. The sales person was very patient and professional. More importantly he did more listening than talking and was very knowledgeable. The only negatives were the facility itself needed a little improvement and cleaning - in particular the lounge area and restroom. I would say that I did not feel like they needed to make a huge profit due to overhead as the prices were considerably less than other surrounding stores and was the reason why I chose to do business in the first place. Is not very happy with the Kenly Ford dealership!! My mother that is mentaly and physical disabled has got taken advantage of by the dealership along with a family member! I have tried countless times to talk with the General Manager but seems to busy to talk with me and can never find him. I was giving a certain time to talk with him and not there. Not here is all I get or he is at the other store( Chevy dealership). I call the Chevy dealership in Kenly and alI I get, he is at the Ford place. I have wasted my gas and time on this today.. My mother never received copy's of the paper work by Kenly Ford! This car is not my moms!! But her name is on it.. My mom receives a disability check and she don't live rich.. If this is such a good home local dealer, I think you would do the right thing by taking my mom off the loan or taking the car back and be a done deal. A lot of you in the town of Kenly should know my mom. Her name is Judy Lee. The deaf lady who use to ride a bicycle all the time. Was not happy with the staff there!! Would not recommended sending your mother or grandmother or any family there..My mother is deaf and was not offered any interpreter for the deaf and signed papers that had no clue what it was..
