During process of meeting with contractors, so many characters gave us estimates that were either scarily low, or inflated. Mike and Jay' s rate was fair, and their work is second to none. They were reliable, honored their word, and never cut corners on build quality. Since our house was originally built in the late 40s, they came across some structural issues that really concerned us.. Mike and Jay were understanding to our dilemma and were able to "shore-up" load bearing walls while being always fair with their rate. It was a huge stress relief to know they were on the job and staying within their estimate. Even long AFTER they finished, I had an issue with one of smoke detectors they installed and the same day, they went to home depot and exchanged it for a new one. It's rare to find high quality, great service and fair price in one company, but Fleming Construction nails it. Our home addition was expertly built and we'd highly recommend Mike Fleming Construction!

I looked first at two advertised roofing companies. The first you see all over. M Quick to quote but definitely inexperienced as the quote included roofing a plastic Rubbermaid shed. (Seriously) Thank you Adam owner of CNYCC for pointing that out. The second on was also higher priced and charged too much for plywood (like double for the same size. Adam was recommended by my best friend who had CNY put on a brown roof which looks great on his house. CNYCC came over explaining the job and looking closely at details such as my outdoor porch. They stood in communication with me. (Text are sent only after they have your permission. So the one bad reviewer needs a lesson on spam texting and the proper use of email and communication ) Give them time to get to you in the spring and summer. We had them come out in the winter. It's definitely worth the wait. They also saved up money over those other two companies. This is family friendly and run business. Paige, Adams wife was wonderful. She kept me informed help me through the financing process, and her communication was outstanding. She told me exactly when they would be coming out to do my roof and they showed up that morning to the exact time she said. Adam gave me an explanation of what they did and how they would proceed that day, which was another reassurance of our previous conversation, so I was completely comfortable. He said one day to take off my old roof and replace any plywood. I didn't believe it. But came 5pm and my wife coming home from work that night and we had a completely new roof with new plywood in places we didn't see at first were bad until Adam showed us on our home. Thank you so much! His crew was so professional. Any nails were picked up with a magnetic roller. I didn't see any in the lawn for my tractor to puncture a tire, which was incredible. Thank you again!! I only saw a few come out of the gutter (that is too be expected). I had my house washed a week after and really have to say the Biscayne Blue on our house has had neighbors complimenting as they noticed an immediate difference. We are so pleased and have complete peace of mind knowing that the investment we made has a warranty we can pass down to our children and labor covered for longer than any other company and is covered even if CNYCC is not available. Ask Adam to explain. He also helped to make our porch, which is our pride and joy, look so much better doing some finishing work after the new plywood was put on per our conversation which in our opinion was going way above and beyond. He definitely knows his craft. John his foreman helped too to make it happen. If he only did landscaping, and about another dozen projects. Thank you again CNYCC!

This company was connected and they seemed like exactly what we needed. they told me on the phone they do deep cleaning of homes after a death that are being placed on the market. It was discussed they would arrive on July 27. It was agreed that they would clean the house, top to bottom including the basement. The women on the phone told me this would be no problem at all, either a team of 2-3 would come and do the job until it was finished. I wasn't 100% sure we'd have the house emptied by then but the women on the phone stated she'd call on the Monday before to confirm and we could reschedule at that time if we weren't ready. This was the agreed upon date at the tenet needed to move in august 1. The Monday before the scheduled date came and went with no call. I called them a couple days later and the women on the phone stated we were still on schedule for August 27. I was very confused but said ok. Luckily the tenets moving in didn't need to move in for another month (by chance!) I again never received a confirmation call. 2 days before the appointment I realized the apppointment would fall on a Sunday and I figured the company would not be coming to clean on a Sunday. I called the owner multiple times to find out if they would actually be coming and if someone needed to be at the home to let them in. When she finally got back to me, she said I was correct, they won't be cleaning on a Sunday. I told her when I called to confirm last month, she told me, no you told us the house wouldn't be cleaned out and we were waiting to hear from you. I advised her this was not the conversation that took place. She assured me. I spoke with her daughter and she was sitting right next to her. I was wrong and they were never scheduled, which is the complete opposite of what was discussed at both calls. The owner finally said she'd get a team together to come out to clean as we needed the house cleaned before the tenets moved in. I gave her my sisters number as she would be the one to let the cleaners into the house. When the owner called my sister, she again, blamed me for them not being scheduled appropriately and stating i was going to tell them when the house would be cleaned. My sister, as well as myself, did not appreciate the owner of a company blaming the customer for their mistake. The team did finally arrive, 20 minutes late. My sister was in the home the entire time. The team asked my sister how long they should be there, she laughed thinking they were kidding as they needed to clean the entire home. The team of 3 (one person being trained) stayed for 3 hours. They didn't clean the living room, the basement or the entire upstairs with the exception of the bathroom. The owner called my sister WHILE the time was there to collect payment. How can you collect payment when the job hasn't been finished and it is time based?! After the team left, the charge was looked out again and we were overcharged by about $300. The excess charge was cancelled from the credit card company as we were charged for services not rendered. When I went to the home, after the tenets moved in, I realized the house was filthy! It didn't look like a cleaning team was there at all. The owner then called my sister, while she was at work, to express that the the payment was cancelled. When my sister couldn't speak with her, the owner called me leaving me a message stating she was going to take us to court for non-payment. When we called her back, she was extremely defensive, screaming at us on the phone and telling us we were wrong. We calmly explained we were severely overcharged. The owner continued to yell and swear at us on the phone. When we advised her to calm down and discuss the situation as an adult, she continued to swear at us and hung up. We tried to call her back with no response. What type of company is this lady running? You blame the customer for your mistakes, you don't render the services agreed upon and then contact the customer claiming you are going to sue them?! This lady never gave us a change to explain our side. She never offered to remedy the issues!

After seeing the quality of their work in our neighborhood and meeting with the company's sales rep, hiring SOS roofing for the job was an easy decision. The sales rep was very quick to set up a visit after we initially contacted the company. While at our house, he thoroughly explained what needed to be done as part of our roof replacement, the materials that would be used, the steps of the job, and the warranty of the materials & workmanship. He then provided us with all of the shingle options along with his recommendations and gave us a fair estimate. Shortly after we contacted the SOS Roofing office manager to accept the estimate and give our material decisions, we were given a date for the job. A dumpster and all the materials arrived the day before the job started. The roofing crew who performed our roof replacement were outstanding! They worked incredibly hard and meticulously to complete the job to our satisfaction. Throughout much of the job, a foreman was present to support the crew and answer all of our questions. The day after the completion of our job, the dumpster was hauled away and the owner came out to do a final job inspection. He was very thorough in looking over the whole job and immediately addressing any concerns we had. While there, we both came to the conclusion that a 70' gutter on the back of our house needed to be replaced! While he didn't come to our house expecting to complete this added step, he took the time to take care of it because he was motivated to get it done right away! It was very obvious to us how much pride the owner has in his company and how important customer satisfaction is to him. It was a real pleasure working with the entire SOS Roofing team.
