This was my baby's 1st haircut. She's was very nervous there, but was given love and made feel comfortable from the start. We have been bringing our 3 maltipoo pups to Happy Tails N' Paws for a few months now & we are really pleased with the grooming style of the groomers. The owner of the business, Mannix, is so kind & accommodating & you can just tell that he really cares about the animals in his care. We appreciate the way our dogs are cared for & the way they are groomed. I also appreciate that they give me an appointment time close to when they will start grooming my dogs instead of having me bring them at 7:30 or 8 am & then leaving my pets in a kennel all day long until they can fit them into the schedule. So we took our dog here for months.... the service was okay. Last time I made an appointment.... took our dog in. 5 hours later still not ready. I asked what was going on....and was told the dog is almost ready. Turns out Mannix wasn't even in the store...just blowing me off making stuff up. So after another hour... I called and asked if I could just pick our dog up. They said okay. so with an appointment it was 6 hours and she wasn't really done. Mannix explained that that they were busy on weekends. Okay but why take an appointment then? We go to schedule another appointment....and it's cancelled with no reason. And then another...cancelled with no reason. My wife called and was told they will no longer see our dog. Mannix ego must be massive. I never used profanity, or a tone that would be deemed unnacceptable yet because I QUESTIONED how long it would be and asked why it was taking over 5 hours even with an appointment... we are now banned. What a pathetic little man. good luck with that nonsense. I'd like to use profanity now but will refrain. Steer clear of this place. read more

I have taken my dogs to Happy Tails and Paws twice now; once in January 2024 and again in February 2024 and both times my dogs came back looking AWESOME! I have a 70 pound standard poodle and 20 pound white miniature poodle. I don't know what kind of shampoo they use but my dogs come back smelling great and are fluffy for weeks. Some of the best grooming I have ever seen and I have had dogs since 1996 that have required grooming. The owner of the shop, Mannix, is very easy to work with and I love that besides credits cards, they can take Zelle and Venmo as payment options. I also think that their grooming prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this shop and will continue to use them. I will say they are a little bit tricky to find. They only have a sign on their front door; no street sign per se. They are located in a strip mall with Shipley Donuts and Anytime Fitness. There is also a Himalya Bazaar grocery store next to them. I always look for the Shipley Donuts and Anytime Fitness and know that is where I have to pull in and park. read more

This was truly a diamond in the rough find for me. I'm not one for change but this place was highly recommended by a neighbor that made the switch from our previous groomer. I have a medium golden doodle that has the tight poodle curls and with my previous groomer, they would always have to shave her because of the matting. Well, the groomer that Happy Trails N' Paws assigned to me was Michelle. She came out to greet me and my dog Sadie. We discussed my desire from head to toe. Matting was a potential issue and told me she would call me if she felt that she would have to shave her. The call never came and Sadie looked the best she ever has after grooming. Her doodle face was perfect, ears trimmed and cleaned, nails clipped and as requested, both the tail and eyelashes were left alone! And now the kicker.....she smelled the best she ever has after grooming. What ever shampoo they use is second to none that I have ever smelled. I look so forward to Sadie's next grooming visit and highly recommend this place if you are looking for a new groomer. Ask for Michelle, you will not be disappointed. read more

I took my dog here today 5/8/2024 and they completely butchered him. Attached are the before and after photos. I asked them to call ahead if he was too matted to give the desired cut that I asked for. They completely ignored the request and send a photo of him ALREADY being cut low and stated he was severely matted. They were also asked to NOT touch his ears and did so anyways. It seems as if they took what they were told to do and did the complete opposite. I am very displeased with the service provided and can not put into words how truly disappointed I am. I decided my dog needed to be groomed before heading back to LA and took to Yelp to find a place. Happy Tails N' Paws was one of the first options with great reviews and a close location, so I went online and easily made an appointment for just a few days later. Mannix texted the day of the appointment, reiterating the time and location, and even went one step further by providing detailed directions to find the store. The shared space with a Mail & Ship business makes it hard to see the grooming banner if you're driving, but thanks to the amazing directions all was well. Isabel groomed Teddy and was wonderful. I asked for the wrong guard size (d'oh!) and due to Isabel's experience, she knew it would be too short and cut him the perfect length. My dog also has some skin issues, so she thoughtfully used a hypoallergenic shampoo at no extra cost. Teddy was promptly ready when they said he would be and he looked (and smelled!) amazing. No knicks, no shaking legs from fear, he was happy as a clam and clearly content with his new look. I highly recommend Happy Tails n' Paws. The online booking is a breeze and they are incredibly quick to respond on Yelp if you have any questions. I will absolutely be going back next time Ted and I are in town! read more

The owner talked to me about proper grooming habits for huskies and took the time to get to know Ace upon arrival with me right next to him. Hello Yelpers, I have finally found a dog grooming spot where I don't have to commute so far! My 1st time coming here, I got really lost looking for the sign. Attached is the photo of the front of the business. The staff here are really sweet and welcomed my pets with love upon meeting them for the first time. They did such a great job giving my furry babies the haircut look I wanted. I have a 23lb. Yorkie and a 7lb. Maltese. You do have to make an appointment and they finish within a few hours which is so great! I don't have to wait during traffic hours to pick them up. My furry babies were reasonably priced at $86.60 for both of my dogs. If you have a dog that gets matted easily, please brush them or cut it off because they will charge extra by +$10.
