Zero stars for this one, avoid it like the plague! See all the reviews about long waite even with an appt and lack of customer service. Second time there and waited over 45 mins after appt time and finally had to leave... manager Martha just makes excuses for her unprofessional and unhelpful staff as well as blame the customer for a late arrival... (she confused me with a customer that arrived after I did). 3 of them arrived after my appt time and all were seen before me. They are quick to get your money and insurance info but are inept at taking care of the customer! Take your money somewhere else where they value your time! read more

Make sure to check your charges/statements. I was double charged $1775 in November 2023 and still waiting on the refund check to arrive despite being told multiple times it will be here in 7-10 days for months. The office manager has been unavailable when i have called. Dr. Rosen only test one spot, lesion, a visit. When the results come back you have to make another appointment to get the, prescription. Then if that doesn't work, it will have to be removed. Kenneth Rosen Seemed like a nice guy but front office is shocking. They send me text messages to call them however they never pick up. just had me on hold for 1 hour then hung up. After over 20 times trying to get through they said my test was positive and i need a surgeon. They texted me to call them and i have tried 20 more times and they have not yet picked up. The office is very clean and has lots of room for seating in the waiting area. The office is located near Baptist Hospital on Kendall Drive and 87 Ave., lots of parking and he's located on the second floor. Great staff and Dr., very helpful and will go over any questions you have. He is also very funny and starts the conversation with a joke when he comes into your waiting room. I went to this dermatologist because it was close to my home. I went to the office in miami lakes. What a big mistake. The doctor did not bother to examine me and I was misdiagnosed. He told me it was nothing to worry about and in fact it was something to worry about. He did not look at the area or refer me to do a biopsy. Now I have to have surgery and am in chronic pain because of this so called dermatologist. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Please stay away read more

I made an appointment over a month ago for 3:30pm today. I walked in at 3:00pm to a stuffy and hot waiting room full of people. At 3:45pm they had not yet taken my insurance information so I asked the lady at the reception desk if there was a long delay. She stated that there were 4 people in front of me and said that the Dr was running late today. She asked if I wanted to reschedule and then I asked her if this was normal or just a bad day. Dr. Rosen is an excellent dermatologist, and also has affordable prices for the uninsured patients. Medical offices, especially ones like dermatology where minor surgical procedures are routinely done, ARE NOT fast food restaurants, and wait time is always unpredictable. read more

My appointment was almost an hour late. That's how it started, and the waiting room was pretty miserable with crying children and no windows. I was finally directed to an office and sat on the crinkly paper. I sat almost 20 more minutes before I was seen. I had a lot of reading to do for school that week, so I pulled out one of my smaller textbooks and got some work done. The doctor came in unannounced. "What are you reading?" "Homework for my graduate degree." "What's it about?" "The controversy surrounding the exhibition of the Enola Gay at the Smithsonian museum in the 90s." "Let me tell you, that happened because your generation has no idea what it was like to go through World War II." In my head, "Even you aren't that old." Dr Rosen was an ancient crotchety bigot who actually recommended that I could solve my acne by having a baby. After telling him off the bat I was not interested in, nor would I consider acutane, he tried to persuade me for the course of almost *another hour.* During a follow up phone call (that was days late), he left a message that included the phrase "let me know when you'd like to set up your appointment to discuss acutane treatment." My parents have been visiting Dr. Pereira, who works with Dr. Rosen, for many years. He has treated my father's skin cancer and in the process, has spent many hours just chatting with him, so my father has gotten to know him well. He has excellent bedside manner, so when I needed to see a dermatologist for a case of dermatitis, despite the fact the office is so far from me (I live on the beach), I was willing to come here. You see, good, friendly doctors are hard to come by, so when you find one, especially when recommended by a family member, you have to sometimes be open-minded enough to drive a few miles to get good care. The building is nothing fancy from the outside, it's actually rather spartan, both inside and outside, but there is always ample parking, which is huge if you're running late and don't have time to circle around for 10 minutes to find a spot. The best advice I can give you is to park near the staircase, as the office is on the 2nd floor of building 100, and there is no elevator on site. I found myself walking almost the entire perimeter of the building trying to find the staircase. As a new patient, I had several forms to fill out and as is the case with new patients, I expected to be given low priority and end up in the waiting room for an hour, but I was not there more than 10 minutes before I was called. This worked out great for me as I had to go to work. The doctor was in shortly, and he was a young guy with a big smile. I was not expecting this, as my father can sometimes be ageist, so I expected an older, more serious man, but the smile put me at ease. He shook my hand and I discussed my issues with him, He took a quick look, and noticed I had skin tags, and offered to burn them off. That was actually one of the reasons I came, as they hurt (especially one near my collarbone that would bleed whenever the seat belt would cut into it). My mother gets skin tags often as well, and he burns them off. It's genetic unfortunately, so I probably will need to come back in the future when more start growing back. It took him about 10 minutes to remove about 20 of them (free of charge, which is awesome). When he was done, he suggested a sunscreen for skin protection (blue eyes + fair skin = higher risk of skin cancer) that repels the sand, and to keep a moisturizer for my hands by my desk, as I am constantly washing my hands, which causes a lot of skin dryness issues like eczema. In this day and age when doctors are rushing to squeeze in several appointments in one day, sometimes the doctors rush through and don't have the time to give you the care or attention you need. I was glad that although he was fast and friendly, he was thorough and did his job well. read more

Arrival time: 8:50am Appointment time 8:55am Time we actually saw doctor 10:05 am. I waited a long time however.... it was worth it. Doc came in the exam room and interacted with both my kids like if he gave birth to them. He joked with them, tickled them, and asked them questions. He was soooooo friendly by the time my son sat on the exam table he was sooo comfortable the examination was a breeze. Staff called me the day before the appointment and remind me about the schedule. Doc took one look and knew exactly what it was. Gave me a prescription for the magic ointment as well as a sample and Viola!!!! 2 weeks later my little ones boo boo was solved. Staff is nice, helpful, and accommodating. Waiting room has plenty of seating as well as a TV to keep you entertained (no time to pick scabs of zips! ). Downstairs is plenty of parking. If you need to use the restroom the office staff will gladly provide with the key. Located near baptist hospital in a white tall building. Feel better. read more

I love Dr. Rosen. I've been a patient since the '90s. I took my husband to see him about 15 years ago: My husband is self-employed. Dr.Rosen still charged him the same as 15 years ago. He and his staff made. It possible for my husband to get in a medical trial. Let just say my husband is one of the happier man on this planet. My husband and daughter all saw him for different reasons and he doesn't seem to prescribe anything unnecessarily. The doctor is thorough and to add he has a great sense of humor! On the down side ... same as any dr's office with a 30-40 minute wait beyond appointment time. Dr Rosen has a phenomenal bedside manner, is uncommonly cordial and has a sincere concern for the well being of his patients. Worst experience with a doctor, EVER. The appointment was for my 4 year old child. After waiting 2 hours to see the doctor, he barged into the room, started talking to my child and didn't even acknowledge me. He immediately started talking about how he wants to treat my son without giving me a chance to express my concerns or give a history of the problem. Every time I tried to speak, he shut me down and wouldn't allow me to talk. He wanted to treat my son for the part that I wasn't too concerned about because they don't bother my son and are behind his knees. My main concern was his neck area and chest since this bothers him the most. The doctor refused to treat the area that concerned me most and told me the school might have a problem with the healing process. I told him that's fine I'll deal with it but he still said no. Finally I forced a word into the monologue the doctor was having and I told him my son has had this for a year and it's only getting worse. I told him the allergist and pediatrician have all been following it for a year and the allergist finally referred me to a dermatologist. The doctor told me verbatim "well this is day one for me and I don't care what any other doctors have said". I ended up leaving without treatment and the doctor told me "fine, let someone else treat him". Horrible attitude for a doctor especially after having patients wait so long to see him. read more

Took my son to see Dr. Rosen although I was unsure based on some of the reviews, however he was referred by the pediatrician. I neeed an appt quickly and other drs had a long wait or not soon enough for my concern and need. Dr Rosen saw him next day and his office was not to far from my home, ample parking. The office is very spacious, clean, staff was pleasant and the wait time was reasonable. Especially as being a new patient. I liked his bedside manners, he listen to our concerns, he was detailed with his explanation and procedures that he would take in resolving our matter. He advised if anything changes to call immediately that he needed to know. Other drs have just indicated to follow up at nxt appointment. I think he is genuine and shows concern for the patient. He sees all ages. Didnt give All stars as I will wait on the results of his diganoses first. But I think I will be changing it to 5 stars later. read more

Horrible experience!! Arrived at 2:45 pm and the room was full of people around 20 people. I asked at the front how long will this take because theres alot of people snd she said oh should be around 40 minute wait. I was called in at 4:40 pm (almost two hours later) and waited in the room for another 30 minutes. Then when he finally sees me, he says he doesn't feel comfortable with the procedure and asked me to come in on a Saturday when other doctors are also there. After waiting thst long, he didn't help me. I basically went in for nothing and still paid for my visit. What a waste of time. read more

I visit this office ADVANCED DERMATOLOGY & COSMETIC SURGERY) and Jesus Pereira PA-C was the Doctor Assistant who see me both of the times that I visit them at Miami Lakes, location, First time he was really nice to me but my worst experience (in general) visiting any Doctors location was the second time when this Physician assistant tell my that if the first prescription(IMIQUIMOD CREAM) that he gave me for a wart that I have in my finger didn't work there is nothing else that can be done. That was exactly his words. My copay/deductible was $81.82 (I was really ANGRY I was literally 2m inside his office) just to listen this Dr Assistant saying there is nothing else to do, ask if I want a refill of that cream and was king of mad because I told him that the cream didn't work. This happen on 01/2018 day that I visit a Dermatology for last time thinking there is nothing else that can be done. After my wife did some research she found out is Peringual wart, this one can be treated with Cryotherapy, Laser Therapy, Antigen Injections or in my case with surgical removal. Jesus never gave none of this options and offer me a refill of Imiquimod cream that I told him it has no effect on my wart. read more
