I finally got in to see him. The office staff was hopped up on Adderall (and admitted it.) I told them, I was very honest, my PA had left my practice and i had to go to a doctor (in same practice) who I couldn't stand. My BP went up 20 points every time I walked in to see him. He immediately cut pain meds by 33%. So I found this Grosslight place. I told them I had gotten some medication off the street. I was completely honest. Then they dropped me like a hot potato the next DAY because they said I had cocaine in my system. Considering I was getting legitimate pain pills, i doubted that. I bought a 10 panel drug test from Walmart. There was no cocaine in my system. They didn't CARE that there were a dozen urine samples up there, wouldn't answer my call when I told them (and video recorded it) that there was no cocaine in my system. So they either got them mixed up or just straight lied. But at any rate, I was NEVER allowed to speak to any of them again, until Adderall girl called back and said "take Immodium for withdrawals" and hung up. Excuse me? I am a human being, and you do not have the the right to speak to me as anything LESS. I'd been to another pain clinic before (that one had NO ONE on the nurse's line for 10 DAYS at Christmas) but the first urine test at that clinic didn't even "count". Not with this judgmental fool. There was just NO WAY POSSIBLE his staff, jacked up on amphetamines, was WRONG, no, it was definitely "me". I hated my other PA so bad, I started getting Suboxone from Quick MD online. Even a 8 minute $100 call, THEY cared more than Grosslight. "Gross" is right. Gross negligence. If you are an honest person and have chronic pain (levoscoliosis, with a 26 degree curve in my spine, spinal stenosis, sciatica, degenerative disc, sacroliac joint arthrititis) drive RIGHT PAST this place and go on down to the veterinary clinic. You'll get better care and their staff isn't addicted to their own drugs. "I can be a drug addict and screw up your urine test, but don't you dare be a drug addict!" was the message I got from that nightmare of an experience. I got in a car wreck last Saturday night, and if this dude came crawling back on his hands and knees begging for forgiveness, I WOULDN'T SEE HIM IF HE WERE THE LAST MEDICAL "PROFESSIONAL" ON EARTH. Because he isn't one. He's a judgmental grumpy jerk who hires drug addicts who call YOU a drug addict when I took a test ON VIDEO the next MORNING and it said there was NO COCAINE in my system. Saw Dr. Grosslight for back and nerve pain. Received an injection in my back which made me very sick. Was supposed to go back on for a follow up. I received a call the night before my appt. and was told the doctor dropped me. Do not know why I was dropped all of a sudden. Was not given enough time to find another pain doctor to continue my therapy. Have to wait for a referral to get another doctor by my insurance fo. which is a long process. Meanwhile with no therapy I am in a lot of pain. Pls. beware of this doctor. read more

I saw Dr Grosslight when he first opened his practice in Columbia for a nerve ablation in my neck. He was kind, caring and just an all round wonderful doctor. I had my neck ablation and had a wonderful experience. I would definantly recommend him to anyone that needed this medical treatment and would go back to him myself. Wonderful doctor!!!!! read more

My husband has terminal rectal cancer. His surgeon is a friend of Dr Grosslight so he referred us to him and we were so excited about seeing him praying my husband could get some relief. For those that don't know, rectal cancer is the worst most painful cancers to get. My husband has second recurrence and it's non operable so we are trying to get him at least comfortable. He has NEVER taken pain meds because he worked in the nuclear plants so he was always scared of pain meds. He had a cabinet full of meds from surgeries that he would never take. The cancer is wrapped around his sciatic nerve so he has CONSTANT pain that is debilitating. Dr. Grosslight was so very nice and seemed to really care about us. His staff however is a totally different story. This is our first time going to a pain doctor as he has NEVER taken pain meds before so we are dumb I guess when it comes to all this. He had some oxy that was an old script from the surgeon. He had taken that a day or two before going there and had been sick after. We thought it was the drug but he actually has gastritis so we know now that was the reason he was sick. The doctor prescribed him a 2.5 mg narcolet I think it was. It did nothing for his pain. He was crying his eyes out this weekend from all the pain he was in and so I went through the medicine cabinet and got out all of his old stuff so we could try to get him some relief. Mind you now he had called the office several days prior and asked for help but no one called back. It is now Monday and I have called twice and FINALLY get a call back. The woman on the phone said they could get him seen Thursday. I said well he is hurting so bad he can't stand it so I'll just see what else I have in here that I can get him through until then because she said they had to see him to change his script. She jumped all over me and said he was under contract and couldn't take anything that they didn't give him. ????? Under contract I asked????? I don't remember him signing any contract with anyone. She said that if he's a patient with them then he is under contract and can't take ANYTHING that they didn't give him. So he can just suffer from excrutiating pain until they decide what they want to do to help him. THey are the ones in pain so what do they care. After I got not so nice she puts me on the line with another lady. She said that she never got the message from last week. She sees it in the computer NOW but she never saw it last week when he called. IMAGINE THAT!!!! She then tells me the same thing that he can't take anything for his pain unless they give it to him and he has to suffer until the end of the week when he can get in to see someone. WOW!!!!!! JUST WOW!!!!!! I reminded her that my husband is dying from cancer and not some junkie looking for a fix. He was scheduled for an epidural next Monday and has cancelled it at this point. We will find help for his pain elsewhere because the staff here could give a crap less. I think the doctor is probably a great doctor but his staff is making a bad name for him. Don't waste your precious time here. They could care less about actually helping people who are dying and in need of help. read more

I would not begin going to this business if you are searching for relief for your pain. These people are really good at letting you think they want to help you, but then they will drop you at the slightest sign of any irregularity. Also after years of giving you bags of opioids to take for pain, they will cut you off cold turkey. I had a lab mix-up and they refused to let me re-take a urine test. They put on a letter that they found chemicals that I had never even been prescribed. These are not good people and I thought they were my friends. Skip this place; you'll be better off read more
