I've been a Chase banker for years now and the reason is simple... They have always taken good care of my banking needs... This comes from a retired banker. I don't visit branches much anymore since the invention of the ATM and on-line banking. Since I also come here for business banking I visit the branch a bit more than I used to. This place is big and bright and a spectacular staff here are always very attentive to their customers.. I tend to use the auto-tellers more these days since I am just depositing or withdrawing. It definitely makes it easier. You also don't increase the line for people who need or like to work directly with a live teller. If you have a choice to make about local banks I recommend this branch for your banking needs. Kudos to a great team of people.

The plan involved a telephone call only, no written report (nor anything written), and I did not learn a thing. She did not inform me of NJ domestic partnerships or other tax-savings strategies for my future RMD's. I learned more from the WSJ. At the time, I asked what this firm charged for an uncomplicated tax return which for me involved cd bank interest and stock dividends, pension, social security, property taxes paid on my house. The charge quote then was $800 for a simple return. My CPA then and now charge less than half that amount. My boyfriend lived next door to this company. As we sold his home I can now be honest about my personal unimpressive experience.

I recently got a notice from the IRS of non-payment of taxes along with penalty fees. When I finally got through to him (after calling 3 times), he blamed the IRS. The penalties are not as bothersome as the time I've had to spend on the phone with the IRS and sending out payments to both the state and the federal government. My returns are fairly easy as I own no property and am single, and have no children/dependents. So I'm left wondering what $350 paid for. Very disappointing. UPDATE: After speaking again with the IRS, they said that David Dukoff left the banking info BLANK. That's why they didn't receive payment and that's why I'm having to pay late fees and spend my time sorting this all out. Incredibly unprofessional.
