John Ulrey's glass replaced the windshield on my mini-cooper…read more a) they broke a piece on my car and had to order it b) the caulking around the windshield looked terrible c) not only did it look terrible but it leaked d) brought to ulrey's and the gave me the run-around e) leak resulted in in an electrical short & motor burn out and i couldn't lock / unlock my doors, couldn't use power windows, etc f) urley said they'd fix the windshield & pay for the short in my car g) they fixed the windshield - put a crease with paint missing on the front of the hood during the fix h) they haven't yet paid me for the $300 electrical short but repeated phone calls have been told they will pay me "when it is convenient for them to cut a check" By the way, i spent $6000 on windows from ulrey less then 2 years ago!!! Do not use John Ulrey's Glass and Mirror.

They arrived and not only replaced the glass in the patio door, they also repaired a couple of items I had concerns with regarding the door setup. I talked to Schneidler Glass and they said they could keep the current frame and just replace the glass. They ordered the glass which took a week to come in and then replaced it. I dropped it off at lunch and they dropped off the fixed frame at my office since I couldn't get back to pick it up and it was supposed to rain. The cost was $112 when everyone else who wanted to replaced the whole thing was saying $200 or more. Simply put, bigger is not always better and I will not hesitate to use Schneidler Glass again if needed.

After installation I was somewhat disappointed with the amount of silicone I could see at the joints of the rustic shower. When I called in to the company to pay the final bill, Tricia, who I had been speaking with, asked me how I liked my new shower glass. I told her how I felt and she asked for photos. I e-mailed photos right away and she asked for a little time for review. She then set a appointment for someone to come and have a look and repair if needed, advising me that it is difficult to put glass directly over travertine. To shorten this story, "guys came out on time, redid the area of concern and I'm a super happy camper". It's fair to say that if you are in business for any length of time, you will have problems, both small and large. I think the true measure of a good company is how they deal with problems, small or large, and this company is top notch in my book. I am happy to recommend them.

The house is approx 50 years old, owned by my 70+ mother and a few companies had sent salesman to…read moreconvince her she needed to replace every window in the house. She didn't. Only one window had some dry rot and other damage around it, and I was so glad to find this company who sent out an estimator (who is also a carpenter and would be the person installing it/fixing all the trim etc). This wasn't an emergency, so the length of time between my initial call, when the estimate happened, when it was emailed to us, work confirmed and deposit paid. another visit to get exact measurements for the glazing (that's a technical part I maybe misspeaking) and then the actual installation/repair was approx 6 weeks total. Which was fine. Everyone at the glass guru was very responsive, communicated easily and thoroughly at all steps. The total didn't change even though we had some ant infestation issues and more wood repair work was needed than initially estimated. So thankful to not have to spend $$$ to replace all windows, but only the one that truly needed to be replaced.
