After 10 years in our house, it was finally time to replace our (already old) windows. I researched multiple companies and sat through a handful of unnecessary dog-and-pony shows before ultimately settling on True Crew. Our house is ~120 years old, and we've worked with many contractors over the years while renovating and updating. True Crew has been hands down our best experience. They were attentive to our needs, and helped guide us to wonderful new windows and front door for our house. Their communication was top notch, and when they said they were going to do something, they did it. Their pricing was extremely fair, and they didn't use the same high-pressure or gimmicky tactics that other companies used. The guys who handled the installation were friendly, prompt, and took extra care to ensure every window and the front door were properly installed. Reviews looked good, so I called to have someone come out to give me an estimate. Had a nice conversation, told him my availability and what I needed, He didn't have his calendar with him but assured me that he would call me later THAT day to give an appointment. Never did get that call. Cancelled the estimate. Reasoning: If you don't do what you promise while you are trying to sell me something, how unreliable are you going to be once I sign on the dotted line? read more

I found True crew windows through Yelp and had a great experience working with them. The process took longer than we anticipated but that was due to slower production of items during Covid. True crew was great about checking in on the window and providing updates. I really appreciated their thorough and professional communication throughout the process. We hired them to replace a historic wooden frame window in an upstairs room. Due to our home's historic designation, the window had to be replaced with a custom wooden frame window. We had several different companies come to our house to give us a quote for a new front door. I hated their sales approach and felt I was being manipulated. I was so frustrated but a friend recommended Zac with TrueCrew so I decided to get one last quote. I am so glad I did! Zac was so professional and not pushy at all. True Crew went above and beyond for my replacement windows. There was a small defect on one of them once installed and Zac ordered another one and replaced it. This defect was minor/barely noticeable and did not affect the functionality. We appreciate this and the cordiality from the company as a whole. Zac Lancaster was incredibly friendly, pleasant, and professional for the entire time we worked with him and True Crew to replace the windows in our home. Some of them were probably original to the house, which was built in the 1970s. There was no obnoxious attempt to upsell us fancier windows we didn't want. The price was reasonable for good quality product -- in fact, when the exact model we agreed upon turned out not to be available, I think they honored the original price quote even though the windows they ended up installing were a little fancier. It did take considerably longer to complete the project due to supply chain issues, but Zac was very apologetic about the delay and very good about keeping in touch and updating us. On both installation days -- for the main house, and again for our screen porch, the crew was in and out quickly and cleanly and with a minimum of inconvenience for us. We're happy we used True Crew and look forward to using our more energy efficient, more pleasant home. read more
