They quickly identified how the leather protectors were insufficient, and worked with me to figure out that what I had bought really wasn't going to meet my needs or preventing cosmetic damage (the plastic sills are sensitive to scrapes). No push to make a sale, just honest assessment work, and taking the time to help me figure out what I should (or in this case shouldn't) do. No charge. Honest shop!

I left a message and within 15 minutes, Mike called back. We talked about the project, we ran the seats over to him for color matching and had a great time working out a plan for our new seats. Mike and his wife are very personable and know auto upholstery backwards and forward. They have a very neat and large well organized shop. I wanted to add headrests to the existing seats and Mike set me out on a hunt for headrest parts that he can put on the existing seat frames. He is great to work with. My wife will have to pick out trim and color pattern for our new seats. Since the Malibu is hi metallic black on the top and hi metallic red on the body, we will have black seats with red and maybe silver accents. Should really dress up the Mali SS. This is the shop to visit if you want excellent craftmenship and great people to work with.

My 1974 Camaro spent more than three months going in and out of their shop, and the main issue I brought it in for was never fixed. Along the way, they found several other problems, and I ended up paying over $4,000. When they finally told me the car was repaired, it broke down within an hour of picking it up. The car is now at another shop, where mechanics are correcting issues that Vintage Customs should have already taken care of. They might be great with certain classic cars, but I cannot recommend this shop for classic Camaro(s). The friendliness was there, but the workmanship and accountability were not.
