I live in Michigan and wanted to order flowers on a Sunday for a funeral in Prestonsburg, short notice. About to give up I called Kenny's, no answer. Within 5 minutes a very nice lady called me back. Unfortunately I did not get her name and I'm really sorry for that. She took my order over the phone, was so pleasant and caring, and made sure our flowers were delivered to the funeral home on time. Kenny's is definitely the only place I will be ordering from in the future. Side note: another place in Prestonsburg told me the funeral home I needed the flowers tp go to didn't exist. Placed an order online for next day delivery and it said the location was within their delivery area. They called at the end of the day after everything else was closed and just said sorry we cant make out there tomorrow. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I ordered the Pink Potpourri Bouquet With Roses funeral arrangement that was supposed to come in a beautiful hand-crafted ceramic pot. I chose that arrangement specifically because I wanted the ceramic pot to be a keepsake for the family. Instead they sent a simple ordinary glass vase with red flowers, primarily carnations, and a hideous Scottish plaid ribbon. I paid for an $80 bouquet and got one that is half that value. I am from out of state and chose this florist based on the funeral home's recommendation. I ordered directly from them instead of from a florist in my hometown, wanting to cut out the middleman and give all of the money directly to them. She probably suspected I would never see the flowers since I was calling from out of state. I guess this is an example of no good deed goes unpunished. read more

I've used Kenny's Florist in Martin many times before and have been satisfied. Living away from home, it's hard to know who to order flowers from for special occasions. I found the arrangement I wanted on Kenny's website. The lady I ordered from said "well we will do the best we can". I said "well surely you can replicate it since it's on your site". She stated they do not carry carnations, but would substitute. I said that was fine as long as all white flowers were used and it matched the stature of the arrangement on line. After driving three hours from home, I saw the flowers. The card said Jenny Wiley Florist. I called Kenny's and she said we must have had to sub it out. I clearly asked if they would have time to do the arrangement and was told yes. The lady hung up on me. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Not only that, I'm embarrassed the arrangement had mine and my family's name on it. read more

I picked a floral arrangement from their website, called and ordered the arrangement with the understanding and confirmation that the owner, Tammy, had the flowers to make the arrangement.When I got to the funeral home the flowers were not anywhere close to what I ordered or paid for. I went to the store to talk with them and asked to have the arrangement I ordered. The owner, Tammy, was called and refused to do the arrangement that was ordered, said she didn't have the flowers to make it, even though when ordered the day before she said she did, and hung up on us. She then came to the funeral home and took the flowers from the active visitation without replacing them. My money was refunded by the clerk who was very nice but the owner was very unprofessional. I believe because we were from out of state she tried to pull a fast one, thinking we would not know she delivered and inferior arrangement then what we ordered and she got caught. I would never recommend this florist to anyone, be warned. read more
