Cute little diner that's probably been there for decades. Loved the decor and while the place wasn't exactly spacious, it was laid out well and didn't feel super cramped. We were greeted and seated promptly, and the waitress took good care of us. Service overall was pretty quick and attentive. My friend liked her Denver omelette, and we both liked the hashbrowns though they definitely were not your standard hashbrowns. Almost more like a smashed potato. Could have been crispier but they were cooked through and had a good taste. I truly enjoyed my eggs Benedicts which were made with spam instead of Canadians bacon. The spam was fried crispy and just straight up delicious. I might have to eat more spam!

Table seating with fun, diner wall decor

If context were a part of the rating then this would be four stars as sits surrounded by a bevy of fast food choices. The service was very sweet, the parking was wide open (even though there s number of other tables besides ours), and the decor was entertaining. Actually, my daughter and I would occasionally point out unique and interesting items throughout our meal. She said her steak and potato dinner was delightful and my patty melt did not disappoint. The star for me were the onion rings. They had great flavor and light breading. If they had a sauce besides ketchup they might have been a five, especially if you include value. Overall, a good meal at a great price from a cozy restaurant in a little town.

Saturday special - Chicken fried steak

We have visited Kenny's several times, mostly for breakfast. Lunch the one time was good, but we all agreed that breakfast is their strong suit. We've had sandwiches, the everything hashbrowns, and other egg dishes. I know Spam is their "thing," but some more non-meat options would be appreciated (i.e. eggs florentine). Regardless of how busy or not, service is always quick and friendly. If you haven't been, I suggest your try Kenny's!

Fried cheese curds, don't NOT order these

We came here before we went to the Spam museum. This place is really good. The service was fantastic, the drinks were cold, the food was hot. You MUST try the raspberry tartar sauce, it sounds weird but man it was delicious! Check this place out and absolutely get the cheese curds.

Decent little greasy spoon lunch stop in Austin. They're very proud of their Hormel convection with memorabilia all over the walls and staff wearing SPAM t-shirts. Their fries were amazing. Reminded me of the beer battered ones I like. The burgers and sandwiches we got we're a bit greasy but we're pressed fast and tasted good. Service was a bit sporadic, didn't ever get checked in on once we got our food. Overall, not great, but good.

Denver omelette with toast, favorites special with hash browns

There's a reason why we eat here almost every Sunday; it's consistent, it's fast, and it's good. We've always been seated promptly and given friendly service. The only time they've disappointed is on Sundays after church services when the line extends outside and we're forced to head over to Perkins (cue sorrowful music). We are creatures of habit and order the same thing every time. I get the Denver omelette with cooked onions (for some reason they tend to throw them in raw) with toast, the Mr gets the favorites special with hash browns. The coffee is always refilled promptly, the food comes out hot, and it's the type of crave-able morning food that keeps you coming back again and again. Keep up the good work, and keep the place distinctly un-fancy so I can show up in my sweats and feel at home. Love Kenny's!

I just kinda maybe wish they'd ask if they should first. the grilled cheese (paninied) is not what I intended but it is likely a better option than CFS plus eggs and grits... sandwich comes with sliced tomato and minced onion cooked in - the 10,000-degree press does wonders for the acidic sugar in the tomato; think sun-dried fruits that were actually dried in the actual sun. stuffed wavy-on-top-smooth-on-the-bottom toast with herb sprinkle presents well but I'm not sure what to do with the fork. shop is comfortable with seating available at a half dozen kitchen tables, a couple dinettes and wrought irony patio sets or a rumpus room couch. the hard part of casual is not trying to hard to look like you're not trying so hard. friendly and efficient CHoM pretty much nails it :-)
