The $125 fee was lower than I'd seen a few other places charge, and the owner refused to take any share of the generous tip I offered after such great service. This money was better spent for my mental health and overall happiness than a therapy session would have been. And, yes, the big scary-looking dog barks, but get permission to connect and you'll see that he was really asking to be petted. A real sweetheart, he made me laugh out loud with cute antics.

I got in contact with a service that had a flatbed truck. After seeing the photos, they said they were afraid that just pulling it out could damage the underside of the car and I needed someone with a wrecker. Did you ever have that awful feeling that you were really stuck somewhere, didn't know where to turn, it was a weekend and you'd probably be stranded until Monday? After some phone calls, tho, a very friendly lady said they could help me and to send photos. She called back shortly saying the truck they needed was on another job but they would be there later that night. And they were. Chris and Jennifer worked in the chilly dark, in the water, with the truck lights on the scene, setting up multiple attachment points, pulling out a bit, resetting the attachment points, and repeat.
