DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I went to an installer that was highly recommended by DePaula Ford--the same one they use. Before the work started, I went over everything in detail. I showed him my current car (which I was selling) and explained exactly how I wanted the leather seats in my new car to look. He personally inspected my vehicle, including the backseat, so there was no confusion about what I wanted. When I got my car back, the back seats were not done the way I had clearly specified. I brought the car back and explained the issue, but instead of addressing it, he argued that the work matched what I had requested. I reiterated that this was not correct--we had provided photos and he had even seen the original seats in person. On top of this the dealership, de Paula did not do anything either. I bought a new 2026 Ford F150 pick up my first stop was to this business. I bought a tonneau cover for my truck. The price for this was $600. Not only is the quality of this cover very bad. The sensor light on my truck was showing that the tailgate was open. When in fact it was closed. This did not happen until I had this tonneau cover installed here. When I inquired about this in a phone call today he said he had nothing to do with it, and that the warning light was on when he installed it. This man does not stand by his work in any way shape or form it is probably a five minute fix, but he didn't want to spend that much time on me. Stay away. read more

I ordered an after market cd player which I paid $700+ installed from soft & cushy. it worked for only 6 months so i took it back and was told the player was defective but fortunately under warranty. After a couple weeks i called to see if they had the new player in yet and was told yes. they never called me when it came in. i asked for an appointment and was told i would have to call back some other time when he was in the office. I called many times and was told that he was on the road and I'd have to call back. he obviously does not have an office person to schedule appointments. i finally gave up and went on amazon and found a well regarded cd player for cars that cost me $65. i'm hoping it will just plug in like the defective unit. I realize now $700 installed for a plug and play unit was a total rip off. I believe the only way to do business with soft & cushy is thru a car dealer. Pavel, the proprietor keeps them happy because that's where he gets most of his business. off the street work, don't even bother. read more

I don't like doing this type of thing but Pavel has me quite irritated and I have every reason to be. Last month my sunroofs glass panel detached while I was driving on the highway. The sunroof glass flew off my truck and the sunshade flew out behind it and blew open my headliner. I did a little research and found out that my sunroof had been recalled by Webasto. I contacted Webasto and their rep informed me that the sunroof glass, the mechanism, the sunshade were all included in the recall. I told him about my headliner and he explained that it could also be included in the recall but that it would have to be evaluated first. He set me up with Soft N Cushy Upholstery because this is a shop they have dealt with in the past. I called and spoke to Pavel, who seemed very busy but he gave me his cell number and told me to text over all the information pertaining to the recall. So I did so. I dropped my truck off at Soft N Cushy about a week and a half later after Pavel had contacted me to inform me that the materials for my sunroof had arrived. After work, my father drove me to the shop to pick my truck up. At this point Pavel informed me that I owed him an addition $100 because they had to clean the mechanism. ( I had siliconed a piece of plexi to the mechanism as a makeshift sunroof until I got it fixed ). I had to argue back and explain to Pavel that he shouldn't have been cleaning the old mechanism in the first place because it was included in the recall. Also he didn't have my sunshade because he told me that I never told him about it. At which point I pulled out my phone and showed him the text message where I specifically stated that I needed the sunshade as well. My father felt bad and wound up paying the additional $100 to Soft N Cushy. Pavel also told me that if I get the sunshade he would do me a favor and upholster it for $50. I spoke to Webasto and they told me that all of them charges are included in the recall but at this point I was so fed up that I just told them to send the i upholstered sunshade directly to me, they also looked into the extra charge and wound up refunding me. I'm upset because Pavel was extremely unprofessional and was always pointing the finger at everyone else when the truth is that he wasn't doing his job correctly. Webasto informed me that it is actually illegal to be charged anything by the shop during a recall! How about that! If he had done his job correctly and had some better people skills I would have had my sunshade, fully upholstered and installed and potentially we could have talked about my headliner which he offered to fix for $700. He would've gotten paid by Webasto and I would've had everything fixed but hey thanks a bunch buddy. I'll just install my unuoholsteted sunshade when I get it and I'll figure out what to do with my headliner. Btw I had to adjust then sunroof glass panel you put in because air was blowing right in. read more

Installed a new Kenwood Stereo, speakers and an amp and cost me $1,600.00. Had to go back 3 times before they got the controls on the steering wheel to work properly. In addition they were supposed to install the satellite tuner but never did. Then when I wanted it installed it was $199.00. Found the same tuner for $39.95 and installed it myself. Recently I brought my Ford F-150 into the Soft N Cushy shop for a seat re-cushion and heated seat installation. First off they did a fantastic job on the seat! If your going to get your seat done get the little more expensive cushion cause it's great. Now the heated seat is the icing on the cake. Two temperature settings high and low. "A" rated no question. Don't let the name fool you, these guys have state of the art expertise in electronics and towing equipment. There is a work ethic here that is second to none. Yesterday Pavel and Chris did some electrical work, trusting them with my brand new car. They provided the necessary supplemental tow wiring to power my electric brakes on my Aliner camper. This requires necessary wiring to support a brake controller. While I use the Tektronix Prodigy wireless brake controller, for those who favor hardwired, they do that work too. This requires upgrading the standard factory flat four pin to a seven pin round connector, plus supporting wiring, to power the electric brakes. Chris installed the wiring, I hooked up the Aliner, we plugged in the driver's remote in the 12V receptacle and everything tested out perfectly. Chris also took the time to explain to me exactly what he had done. They are not just jacks of all trades-- but masters too. Thanks Chris & Pavel! read more

The van is brand new with less than 30 miles on it when it was brought in for the install. Pavel should stand up and take responsibility for causing damage to a vehicle in his care!
