They towed my car through my AAA membership, on a Friday. My window was left open, and my interior light left on. When my mechanic came in to his shop, on Monday, the battery was dead. I filed a report with AAA, and they denied any claim, as expected. It's disappointing that the driver wouldn't tell the truth and own his mistake. I even tipped the guy. ‍ read more

Rude, profanity spewing tow truck operator from Ken's Towing was in my neighborhood around 11 PM Sunday night. He kept his bright flashing lights and bright headlights aimed directly into my house the entire time he was picking up a car. His truck was running, was very noisy and blocked the street the entire time he was there. When I walked over to see if he needed help and asked how much longer he was going to be he just went crazy with profanity and a very bad attitude. I would never recommend anyone call them for towing service if they employ punks like this operator. read more

Triple A sent this company out to replace my battery...long story short their battery was bad and Triple A came back out and towed me to my VW dealer...replaced bad battery so I could get to work now can't get reimbursed because apparently I voided warranty by getting my car fixed...turned battery into Triple A service station in Devon PA who confirmed battery was bad(so low they couldn't even print diagnostics)Triple A had battery picked up and are getting refunded and yet I'm still out $192...long sad nightmare read more

DISRESPECTFUL. My friend was towed in Coatesville. We went to pick up her car and were told we had to wait til the next day due to it being Sunday. But despite the fact she would get it in less than 12 hours, right in the morning, she was charged for an entire day's holding making it legitimately impossible to avoid that fee. My wife ran out of gas on a cold night in our Suburban.. After a call to AAA, Ken Jr. from Ken's towing arrived in less than 10 minutes. He put some gas in the tank from a can and it still wouldn't start. Then he gave the gas tank a good whack in just the right spot to wake up the fuel pump and it started right up. Ken was crawling on the cold wet ground to save us a tow and get us on our way, that kind of know-how and hard work and goes a long way for a stranded person in a stressful situation. read more

My keys were stolen and I didn't have a spare so Acura told me I needed my vehicle towed to them. Kens went to where my car was located in Thorndale and transported it to Limerick for a small fee. Every other tow company wanted to either damage my car by way of dragging it onto a flatbed, and charge me almost my first born. Kens came quick and I got to keep my child lol. read more

My wife and I were driving east on Route 70 near Medford, NJ when the road came to a merge from two lanes. Each car was merging properly, with every other car coming in from one lane to another. I went to merge from the left when suddenly a Ken's Towing truck jerked dangerously forward to cut me off from the merge. The driver ignored the every other car thing everyone else was properly doing, and rode the bumper of the car in front of him. When I tried to get in as the lanes merged, he continued to aggressively try and push me, eventually trying to actually push me into oncoming traffic. My wife saw this dangerous driving and went to get a photo of the company name so that we could report his dangerous driving, and HE started doing the same WHILE DRIVING. So not only was he being aggressive and dangerous, he was using his phone while driving. I managed to make the merge, all the while watching in my rear view mirror as he drove with his phone out. When the road opened up to a shoulder on the right (not a lane, a shoulder) he barrelled through at high speed and flung the truck ahead two cars back into the one lane road. The license plate was from Pennsylvania RT 70771. He was on his phone and tailgating anyone who was in front of him. All of this was being done while towing a small truck. I'll bet the owner of that truck would not appreciate knowing their vehicle was on the tow truck of someone driving so angrily and recklessly. We tried to call the company to complain but only got voice mail. We're hopefully not ever going to need tow service, but if we do, Ken's Towing will NOT be receiving our business. I hope this review will let others know that their drivers are unsafe, using phones while driving, angry, aggressive, and reckless on the road. read more

I had a flat tire, called AAA. They called Ken's Towing. Much more high tech nowadays. They sent me a link where I could follow the status of the driver. Only problem was AAA underestimated the timing. The driver Joe kept me in the loop, and when he got to me, was very professional and considerate. He tried to put air in it, but it came out as fast as it went in. At least we knew there was a hole, a big hole. Just couldn't see it, only hear and feel the air rushing out. Had my vehicle from towed from Chester Springs to Birdsboro on 2/5/2016 and driver was BEYOND unprofessional and rude!

Beware! My elderly mother was left stranded by AAA as they sent Ken's out for a jump start in a shopping center parking lot. (she had left her lights on) The "service" person, instead of jump staring the car, decided to diagnose a starter problem and said her car would need to be towed. When my mother refused to be towed he scurried away leaving my 83 year old mother to walk a mile home. When my mother got home she called me and told me what happened. I drove 20 miles to jump start her car and it started without issue. (other than a weak battery) This may sound like an isolated incident, but Allstate Auto Club sent Ken's out to my parents home for a jump start a few years earlier and they pulled the same scam. In fact, that time they had the car in the air as I arrived at heir house. After making them put it back down, I jump started that car with no issue either. (Lights left on again) BTW my mother raised two mechanics and she knows when the BS is being laid on. I have no idea why the "service" persons would not have just jump started the cars either time, but I do know that this service provider has failed to do their job for an elderly person twice. I do wonder how many times they get away with this "act" of "we can't jump start your car....it will have to be towed." Also, read other reviews carefully. This is a towing company for sure...not one compliment for jump starting a car. Either they don't know how or there is just no money in it. And, AAA covers the member as a driver or passenger not the car. What do you think really happened with Heather in 2010? Update: my mother has had no problems with her car since receiving the "jump" from my car...Ken's towing reported to AAA that she had a bad starter and it could not be jumped. Huh? read more

my car broke down and I called AAA they said the tow truck would take 75 minutes so I called ken's towing, they said they would be there in 3 minutes. I called AAA back and cancelled the tow truck which was now 45 minutes away and requested ken's towing, they also told the AAA representative that they had a truck minutes away. I waited 45 minutes and called them back and was told it would be at least 35 more minutes after a total of 2 hours I walked home and the car is still there. in short they lied to me and AAA. do not use this company read more
