I called around to some local TMJ specialists and she was scheduled for appointments in August or November. That didn't help her now. Despite not having a TMJ specialist on staff, Valley Dental Health agreed to see her the same day I called. They took her in and gave her an exam. They wrote her a script to help deal with the pain and offered some people that she could follow up with for additional assistance. One of those people was able to see her within a day or two. While Valley Dental Health couldn't assist my wife with her specific issue, I appreciate how they brought her in and examined her in a timely manner, provided a temporary solution and offered some referrals that got her on the road to recovery.

The lady on the phone was kind and helpful, and gave me detailed instructions on how to find the office when I came for my appointment. The office was nice, the waiting room had coffee, tea and water. Everyone I encountered at the front desk was incredibly friendly. I was x-rayed and then Dr. Mann came in to review that and do some other sensitivity tests. He was thorough, informative, and I really felt like he cared about what was best for me. Ultimately he did not feel that I needed a root canal at this time, and it was refreshing that he was honest and didn't try to sell me a service I didn't actually need.
