She was able to accomodate us and our almost 6 month old. She had a pack and play already set up in the room for us! Everything was clean. Quiet. The parfaits so simple and delicious. I loved the charm of this place with great company and beautiful grounds. We got to meet Fiona the donkey so sweet my little one loved it Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the rehearsal dinner on the porch of the building next to the large silo. It was right before sunset, so we got to enjoy the gorgeous view of the land, trees, and lake while the August sun went down. There was a lovely breeze and we enjoyed our meal under twinkling string lights. There were tons of beautiful flowers blooming around the grounds, and we enjoyed lawn games on the rolling green grass. The next day, for the ceremony, we were located down by the lake. The ceremony took place on a lawn in front of a beautiful old tree, facing the water. Afterwards, we made our way into the old barn and enjoyed cocktail hour and the reception. The space was well designed and the whole experience was magical; candles and simple draperies. A beautiful breeze flowed through the venue as the rumble of thunder echoed in the distance. Despite the thunderstorm that passed through, we were safe and dry inside the barn. All in all, one of the most beautiful and magical wedding venues I've seen.

I've been lucky enough to have spent more than half of the summers of my life at Buck's Rock, what…read moreis now spread over the course of three decades. There is simply no other place like it. Buck's Rock helped me gain the confidence in childhood to be myself, taught me how rewarding it can be to work with adolescents as a professional, and has fostered some of the most important and enduring relationships of my life. It's not just a summer camp, it's a community, invaluable learning experience, and family all in one two month session. Buck's Rock is like home.

After the 2 week Jr. program, and two 4 week sessions, this year was 8 weeks. All-in-all he performed 13 times in music projects or theater. He produced beautiful jewelry and grew in every way (including a few inches in height). This is his happy place. The new ownership has been amazing. A few years back our son was left alone on a field trip and had to call for help from a stranger. The old ownership, while apologetic, continued to employ everyone involved and we did not feel they took the matter seriously. We were very disheartened and were hesitant for him to return until we heard Noah and Smadar Salzman had purchased the camp (this happened his 2nd summer and the 3rd summer was the new ownership). This summer our son had a virus and fever 4 days prior to the last day of camp - known as Festival-where he was scheduled to perform with his band as well as in the musical, The Wizard of Oz. He was very nervous and disheartened but the camp doctor checked in with us regularly as did the nurses, morning and night. He was quarantined and the care he received was exemplary. The Director of the musical came to visit him and let him know not to worry and kept him isolated but available to sing and rehearse. Noah visited him regularly and the camp followed up. He was cleared to rehearse and was able to perform during Festival in both his band and in the musical. The care he received was amazing and he had an amazing summer in spite of missing a few days at the end of the summer. We look forward to his 5th summer next year!
