Sadly, that has changed and we can no longer support them. I don't feel they are trustworthy. Appliance service has been very disappointing at BEST. We were sold a product with a missing part and were told multiple times that the part would be supplied, but it never was and we had to continually chase them. The missing part that was never even supplied, actually damaged the brand new appliance. We were sold an appliance that never worked properly and it was admitted to us finally that it was a manufacturer's defect, but no compensation of any sort was ever even offered. So there's two appliances that we purchased at full price, that ended up being not being as functional as they were supposed to be. Most recently, we were encouraged to spend over $750 dollars on fixing an old appliance only to have it break once and for all 2 months later. We had specifically asked if it was worth spending all that money on this unit or whether we should just buy a new one and we were Definitively recommended to do the repair. Now I have had to buy a new replacement appliance at the cost of what I spent on the repair plus $100 - a mere $1665 out of my pocket that I didn't really have to flush down the proverbial toilet. Their response to learning that the repaired appliance died? 'We (conveniently) have a sale coming up next week. Nope. No more. Hello big box store. And in discussing this recent terrible experience with friends and neighbors, come to find out that they have also had very similar experiences. Stay Away! I called…read moreAtlas (Jimmy) to fix my stove, which had a broken burner. While initially he was quite responsive, everything went downhill quickly. He sent someone who not only didn't fix the burner, he broke another one. That person said that they needed more parts to fix both burners and that they would call back when they were ready. We never got a call. This began several weeks of pestering Jimmy on the status of the parts, because he would never call us. He eventually replied that they were on backorder but would tell me when they were ready again. After a long period of silence, we called him back and he mentioned that the parts were discontinued, he just never bothered to tell us and that he wouldn't do anything to compensate us for the stove his team made worse. He said that there was nothing that could be done to fix it. I called a different company, they came in, had the parts (not on backorder) and fixed it within a week. I'm mad at myself for trusting Jimmy for as long as I did, because we could have gotten results so much sooner. Don't use Atlas, they just make things worse.

I chose them over a competitor twenty-five miles closer to me because of their reputation for honest dealing and skilled service technicians. Over the past twenty years, I have found this to be the case. I recently replaced my original dw with a new Asko from Ackerman's, whose technician and I ran into problems that called for an oscillating saw (neither of us had one and it would have taken an hour to locate and obtain one from a neighbor) but were solved with hammer, chisel, muscle, and skill (none of it mine).
