I went in for what I thought was an ear infection and I told the doctor my symptoms. She looked in my ears and said that I had an ear infection. No tests, no questions. I was prescribed amoxicillin and ear drops but thank god i didnt get the ear drop because I then went to the ER because my symptoms were worsening. The first thing they told me was I didn't have an ear infection when they looked at my ears, and instead I had bronchitis, so this urgent care treats the wrong things, doesn't do tests, and rushes through appointments. Not to mention the charges if you don't have insurance. I would not recommend coming here. read more

I have quite literally never wrote a review on any workplace, establishment, etc. I came in to be seen, as a new patient, and was informed that an id and insurance card would be needed, which was not the problem. It was how the black man, and woman delivered this information. Them delivering this information was not the problem, it was how they delivered it that was the problem. Their tone, and the way they said it was what through me off. I literally work in fast food and the bar is raised a lot more higher regarding customer service satisfaction, if I am expected to treat every customer with respect regardless if I get that same respect back, then I expect that from any other workplace especially an urgent care!! I mean when I walked in there, there was no hi, no hello, just straight and something like "are we being seen today". I am not mad that I wasn't able to be seen because of not having my ID, but simply the vibe I got from the two workers, like it was a problem that I was asking if there's anyway we could bypass not having an ID. It was a simple question, and regardless of how stupid or obvious it was, responding to your patients with patience and kindness when explaining goes a long way. read more

I just had my second visit to Lexington urgent care clinic and I cannot speak highly enough about the entire team here and the entire process. They were warm and friendly and very effectively and efficiently communicative. They listened to what I needed help with without making me feel rushed or dismissed. I also may have caught them on two good days, but the wait time was almost nil! I won't hold them to this because I'm sure there are lots of ebbs and flows to traffic for urgent care. Please know that the current rating I see on here does not reflect them accurately at all! I think I can speak from a decent place of experience since I waited to review until my second trip. read more

Be prepared to sit in your car (not a drop of service in the Kroger parking lot) for at minimum 40 minutes, and then get inside, sit in the room for another 10 minutes and be rushed out the door once the doctor gets in there. Fine place if you are able to wait over an hour for mediocre service. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with my medical needs . it stated they were open till 8:30 , however was only greeted by rude receptionists who clearly wanted to leave . I was in a great deal of pain then she asked for my copay . I gave her the cash , she looked at me smiling stating she did not have change . The doctor followed me out to parking lot saying he could briefly see me . not taking blood pressure or any other medical test . quickly decided I had a blood clot . I had a good visit with nurse Abraham. He is a professional gentleman. There was a bit of a wait, as they were busy for a Monday morning. However, I received prompt care for my condition. The gentleman who gave me an antibiotic shot in my glute did a great job. I didn't feel any pain. The front desk lady was pleasant and professional, too. read more

I went on late Sunday morning. Was signed in, seated in the waiting room, and taken into a room to be seen within 5 minutes. I was very pleased with the speed. The nurse spent a few minutes with me, and then I only waited about another 5 minutes for the doctor. Again, very pleased. Was diagnosed with bronchitis and prescribed the proper medications, which Dr. King described to me thoroughly. Overall I was happy with my experience. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the receptionist. When I walked up to the counter both times she had her headphones in listening to music and messing around on Snapchat on her phone. The second time that I went to the counter, SHE WAS SMOKING HER JUUL. Not only is this unprofessional in any workplace, but I am absolutely appalled that in a place of healthcare, the workers are such poor role models. This should absolutely not be allowed, especially where it can be seen by patients. read more

I wasn't put off by the surly reception. I started getting annoyed at the lazy and ineffective patient care from the nurse. Then the doctor came in... for some reason I'm still not too sure about. After he left, I noticed that the cleaning solutions the nurse used were still left OUT with their LIDS OFF. So unprofessional. By the end of my visit, I was shepherded our without someone DRESSING THE INJURY I WAS THERE ABOUT. I mean I trusted the doctor with stitches about as much as he trusted himself, but give a guy a bandaid at least! Doctor called me after the nurse sent me out (great management btw) and was like "oh uh I was going to send you some antibiotics..." dude I bet you were going to write me a prescription! I was seen here trying to seek help, I've been very sick an need to see a liver specialist, I was told they would send me a referral to a liver specialist. After I was seen an had all the blood work done an after weeks of trying to get ahold of someone I was told I just need to see a primary doctor to get a referral! Because they don't do referrals. That was my hole reason being seen here.when they were taking my insurance information to bill them they did referrals. Never again! Scheduled a rapid Covid test with them today. I got there on time and they sent a text message to my phone telling me that I needed to complete the registration form in the car and then text them back to let them know I was there. I never received a registration form in my email so I sent them a message back letting them know that and to also let them know I had arrived. They then sent me a text message telling me to please come to the front door for my test. I walked to the front door and stood there for about 10 minutes. No one inside was paying attention to see me standing out there. Finally a lady that worked there came outside. Not to tell me to come in for my test, but she was either getting off work or going to her car. She asked if I was there for a test, I said yes so she told me to go on in. I get there and check in at the desk. The young lady sends me to this Covid booth they have set up. The man asked me my name and date of birth. He then starts opening the tools he will use to administer the test. Instead of asking me to step forward he motions with his hand for me to come closer. Then motions me to tilt my head back instead of asking me. Once we were done he tells me that I will get a text message in about 20 minutes with my results. This was around 4:30pm. It is now 7:45pm and I have yet to hear from them concerning my results. That's all it took for me to decide that I will never return to Urgent Care for anything. The first time I went here was last year and they took a Covid test and told me they would text me when it was ready, waited in the car for 45 minutes and decided to go back in and they had text the wrong phone number. They didn't come looking or try to look back over my paperwork to see that they were 1 digit off. The covid test came back negative but the ARNP told me that I was probably a "false negative" and gave me a breathing treatment....wasted time! I went in again over the weekend and had to take covid and flu tests before I could even be seen, I didn't have symptoms of either. I was there for around 2 hours and told they would call me in 3 Rx's, I checked with pharmacy today and they never called them in. Called the clinic and they put me on hold for 10 min and admitted they did not call them in and they would do it now. I feel like I need to let people know that this place is very unprofessional and I do not know how they continue to practice what they may call medicine. I will not go back!!!! read more

I was in this clinic 2 weeks ago for an issue that I was having. I was taken back to a room where a nurse aid asked me some questions and took my vitals. When the Dr. came in he leaned against the counter and asked me what was the purpose of my visit. I then explained to him what was going on. He made no examination of any of the issues that I explained to him. He then said I will call in a few prescriptions for you to pic up at your pharmacy. I figured with him be the professional I was going to be taken care of. WELL I WAS WRONG. A little over a week later the the medicine he prescribed was doing nothing so I went to the ER at St. Joseph hospital where I was told that it was something completely different and that the medication I had been taking would do absolutely nothing to help me. Talk about a waste of money and waste of time. So I spent $75.00 plus the meds that didn't work to have to go somewhere else to get real treatment. I guess at the urgent care it really is all about the money and not the patients anymore they just want you in and out. Not to mention that the Er called to follow up about my meds and to see how I was feeling now that I had what I needed to get better. I had also contacted this location after my Er visit to inform them of the misdiagnosis and the only thing I got an I'm sorry and we can have billing contact you. After not hearing from anyone for 1 week I called back only to get the run around between the receptionist to someone that handles billing. Upon calling back to the clinic since billing was just confused I was then put on the phone with the owner/Dr. Who saw me only to be talked to in such extreme disregard for anything that I had went through and basically be told that I was wrong and he was right even though I had an entire ER of Dr.s and blood test telling something completely different and the fact that there diagnoses cured my issue, but I was in the wrong. Just goes to show you how ethics works with some professionals. I honestly just wanted an "I'm Sorry and my payment refunded for services not rendered " but that fine if I could give this establishment zero stars I would have just due to the fact of how I was treated after the fact...... read more

Today is july 23rd 2021 the dr at the office was incredibly rude. When i wolud answer his questions, he would accuse me of being rude. I was answering his questions like anyone would when they are seeking help from a dr.. I have poor vision and usually wear glasses but they are broken so i did not have them on. However the dr accused me of being rude because i would look at him and periodically look at the wall as i was talking to him. If he wasnt so sensitive, he wouldve understood that people have issues he is unaware of. I cannot keep eye contact for too long without my glasses because my eyes hurt from all the straining...which is why i have to look away periodically. He has a thick accent so maybe hes accustomed to submissive women being submissive all while he has a short fuse or he just doesnt understand english enough to avoid being offended all while having a short fuse. Fuck u dr whatever the fuck ur name is and fuck ur two receptionists too. Ur little dirty as UTC on Richmond rd looks infected anyway read more
