I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Keossian Law regarding a property-insurance matter following a flood at my home. I was required to relocate and have paid my lodging expenses out of pocket while expecting those expenses to be reimbursed through my insurance claim. Keosian Law: Where Cases Go to Vanish If you love one-sided conversations and waiting for answers that never come, Keosian Law is your dream firm! I contacted them after seeing their social media ad about handling homeowners insurance claims for wildfire damage in Los Angeles. Seemed like a good idea--until I actually called them. I got Silvia on the phone, and let's just say, I've had clearer conversations with Siri on 1% battery. After painstakingly repeating my details multiple times due to her poor connection, she assured me on January 16, 2025, that she would "send it to the attorney." Fast-forward to today, and I'm still waiting--probably with better odds of hearing back from a message in a bottle. At this point, I don't know if they're running a law firm or a masterclass in ghosting. No updates, no follow-ups, just radio silence. If they handle cases the way they handle communication, I'd be better off representing myself with a Magic 8-Ball. Do yourself a favor: if you actually want legal help, look elsewhere. This place kind of sucks! I say kind of because the staff that I speak to actually have a nice personally, but as for what they do... they suck. I put in a claim for fire/ash damage from a fire that was near my house, which was, I believe 2 years ago? The agreement is that they get paid 30% of whatever the payout is (which is standard to my knowledge). The case is still being worked on til this day. They initially came out with the insurance adjuster and I don't know if the person who came out with the insurance adjuster was one of their lawyers, was a receptionist, was someones little brother who has nothing better to do with his time, but he literally walked in with the adjuster, didn't say a word, didn't lead the adjuster to any part of the house, didn't look (or ask) about the areas that my house has ash all over... he literally just stood there. Oh, and talk about professionalism, he was in a polo shirt with shorts. Sorry but to me that's a bit weird for a law firm to be so laid back in their attire. The insurance adjuster walked around and took pictures and this guy was chillin like he lived at my house. The adjuster asked him if there was anything else that he wanted to look at at and this guy shrugs his shoulders like he doesn't know (or care) and they are done. A year passed by and nothing happens, but then they contact me periodically that they are fighting for me. Then more time passes and they are still fighting for me. After that more time passes and they are taking it to the next level... I am not a lawyer, so I have no clue what these people are actually doing. Today I ended up receiving a letter that the insurance company is offering a small sum of money which I can either settle for (which I wonder if they will still take 30%, which leaves me enough for like a subway sandwich..? LOL), Or I can fight for more money by taking it to court, BUT if I take it to court, I will incur more fees and even if I lose and I don't make ANY money at all off the case, I will have to pay the fees. WHAT THE HELL?! Soooo... what you are saying is that our initial agreement that you will take 30% of the settlement doesn't include this? Why was this not brought up from the beginning? Why would you not address this to a potential client? Wait wait... I know. Cause you're shady? lol This is a bunch of crap in my perspective. There are other reviews that complain and I am sorry to say, when it comes to Lawyers, you need to find one that is aggressive, that is pushy, and not aggressive and pushy towards you and making you pay more, but towards the other party. Keosian Berberian is not this type of a lawyer. I think they are the type that sit back and make a small effort, and if it works, great, but if it doesn't work, oh well. Won't give her name! Everyone was cold and unwelcoming. I felt as though they didn't truly care about the client, I am now dealing with a new lawyer and he is great. (Message me if you would like to work with him, as he is not on yelp because his referral base is so big). They were unprofessional and took forever for anyone to get back to me. I was chasing the lawyer down vs. the lawyer making my life easier and following up with me on the case or so forth.
