Unfortunately, the actual execution on our job did not live up to that initial promise, primarily due to the foreman assigned to our project. Throughout the renovation, it consistently felt as though the foreman's focus was on finding shortcuts and minimizing work rather than delivering quality craftsmanship. Several specific installation and oversight issues highlighted this lack of attention to detail: * **Hardware Alignment:** Handles were installed noticeably crooked and not perpendicular to the floor (fixed, after our complaint). * **Cabinet Quality:** Visible imperfections were left on the new cabinet doors (fixed, after our complaint). * **Countertop Measurement Errors:** The new quartz countertop was incorrectly measured, though fortunately, the quartz supplier stepped in and made it right. Oddly, a cheaper fix was rejected by the foreman. * **Molding Repair:** Molding damaged during demolition received a very sloppy paint job. What troubles us most is that we are continuing to discover additional issues after the fact, including a hairline crack in a tile that undoubtedly occurred during the poor replacement of the damaged molding.
