Each month they offer a four week class (usually a beginner's A and beginner's B) that is designed to teach basic swing dance skills. You don't have to have a partner to join the class since the class rotates partners - which is awesome if you haven't found anyone you can talk into taking a dance class with you. :) It's an open, laid back atmosphere where I feel like I can ask for help. There are lots of smiles and I leave class in a good mood. It's a great group to learn with!

If you're gonna allow children to have parties there, the staff you hire should learn to have patience and not take it out on the kids. My kid made a simple mistake by moving too quickly and the asshole asked him what his name was and proceeds to scold him in front of all the other kids. If you don't explain the rules, DON'T ASSUME that everyone there is a gymnast and knows only one kid can do a thing at a time. Teach them so they learn. Don't yell, discourage, or embarrass a child. This same jerk who scolded my son was also putting other children in time out. Imagine going to a birthday party and getting put in time out. WTFFFFF Facility is decent. But beware of that one staff member. Wish my husband was there and he could be a tough guy to him instead of a 6 year old. Pathetic!

My older son went to a glass mosaics class over the summer. Both Marcia and Rebecca are state certified art teachers. I know they have worked in the public schools and have an excellent reputation because it was a school teacher that recommended them to me. They are very patient and recognize the artist in all of us. They offer several different classes and for all age ranges. I know they do private parties for ladies nights out and birthdays, but they also have classes for homeschool groups and pre-k's. On school holidays, they'll only a special project. In the evenings they have mostly grade school level classes in sculpting, mixed media, painting, and later in the evening they offer manga and more advanced sketching classes. You can pay by the class in some cases, or by the session, or for the whole term. Payment can all be handled online, which I really appreciate. All in all, this little studio has been the perfect fit for my son who is into comics and we don't have to drive over to COCA in St. Louis anymore. I feel like this studio has serious enough artists to keep him engaged through high school.
