(Our son has more than average knowledge of diesel trucks, we have been looking for over a year and he checked for blow by before we left with the truck... so, this was not an impetuous purchase) We called Alex the following day to let him know what was going on with the truck and were told, he would "help" us with the truck, but because we signed the "as is" we would not have any true recourse, and he blamed the condition of the truck on our 18 year old son (after 1 evening of driving it!). The truck was purchased on July 4th, and was not able to be driven until August when the driveshaft was replaced. Our son drove it while we looked for a replacement engine until it completely died September 5th, and as of October 28th, we have replaced the engine and fuel system and now he is able to have a working truck. An additional $12k on top of the original $22k we paid Alex. While Alex did help with the labor cost to fix the drive shaft and, $1000 towards the labor on the engine install I paid market value for a working vehicle and got a 4 month very costly project.

Since they opened, they have gone through two service managers now. The first one failed to follow up with me for two days only for him to finally text me that he was no longer there. My car has been there since Nov 27 to have a check engine light diagnosed and a clutch report done. Communication with Troy the service manager has been poor since I took the car in. Called and texted him numerous times only to be told he would follow-up with me. The last time was on Tuesday the 3rd. He promised to contact me on the 4th with a status and recommendation. Had not heard from him until today the 5th only to receive a text from him letting me know he is no longer with the dealership. This was after I attempted to call/text him and call the dealership numerous times, only to get the Sales Managers voicemail. I would think that if they are losing services managers the priority would be to immediately contact the customers with vehicles being serviced and let them know the status and who they should expect to be contacted by. Although they had to remove a skid plate to do the oil change, the dealership failed to accept responsibility for this event. They disputed responsibility by showed a picture of the front skid plate hanging a little low the day they did the oil change.  While defending the experience of their technicians, Service Director James Waite, did acknowledge that the technician should have pointed out the need to replace a few of the clips. And that if the clips were new that the skid plates would not have come loose. He stated that they were somewhat "complicit" so he would consider refunding part of our deductible if we filed with our insurance company.  Had Robert, the technician, cared about being thorough and pointing out the need for some new clips, the skid plates would still be in place. Something that the Service Director agreed was definitely possible but leaving us with thousands of dollars of repair.
