The first time, a woman cut my son's hair and she was incredibly sweet and did a fantastic job. The second visit, a gentleman cut his hair and he was just as kind and patient. My son is in that in-between stage of moving from little kid haircuts to more grown-up styles, so he was a little nervous both times. They handled it perfectly making him feel comfortable, respected, and honestly a little more grown up. It meant a lot seeing them take the time to make him feel at ease instead of rushing through the appointment. Great service, great people, and two really solid haircuts. The entire staff was female, and I was made to feel like it was strange or inappropriate that I was there with my own partner. He wanted me there because he values my opinion, especially with our wedding only days away. Instead of feeling like a valued customer, I felt like a whole inconvenience simply for quietly sitting to the side and occasionally helping communicate what we were looking for. The dismissive looks and overall attitude toward me made the entire experience uncomfortable and unprofessional. As disappointing as that was, the haircut itself was even worse. We asked for a simple trim. Instead, his hair was cut far too short, the back is uneven and extremely choppy, and his front hairline was cut crooked. It honestly looks like the stylist abandoned what we requested and decided to cut his hair according to her own vision instead. If her vision was that she hated him and wanted him to know it. The end result looks nothing like what we discussed. This wasn't a minor difference in preference, no, it was an objectively poor haircut. We trusted this salon with his hair just days before one of the biggest moments of our lives, and now we're trying to figure out how to make it presentable for our wedding photos. I rarely leave negative reviews for anywhere I'm the type to just never come back, but this experience was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. Between feeling unwelcome as a customer and the quality of the haircut itself, I cannot recommend this salon to anyone except maybe my worst enemy. My soon-to-be husband and I will absolutely not be returning.

We had originally booked for Monday, but because of the storm their power went out. Tony personally called to update me and reschedule--super thoughtful and appreciated.
