We've been here twice now and both experiences have been great. Both times we called last minute, and they were able to get us in right away, which as a parent I really appreciated. The first time, a woman cut my son's hair and she was incredibly sweet and did a fantastic job. The second visit, a gentleman cut his hair and he was just as kind and patient. My son is in that in-between stage of moving from little kid haircuts to more grown-up styles, so he was a little nervous both times. They handled it perfectly making him feel comfortable, respected, and honestly a little more grown up. It meant a lot seeing them take the time to make him feel at ease instead of rushing through the appointment. Great service, great people, and two really solid haircuts. Never had so terrible experiences on haircuts,the barber was so rude and unprofessional , I called and asked price for man haircut,they told 40 dollars,but after they done,they said it's 45 dollars,??????????? And force me to give tips,looks like he considered I won't give tips, but I gave 20% tips,even he did so bad, the unexpected thing was after I paid and gave tips I just asked could you cut the side a little bit shorter? I asked for a mid fade gave me a high fade and i even showed him a picture of what i wanted got something completely different and blames my hair.... To finish this off i asked to keep my line up naturally dont go wider nor higher and ignores it and makes my line up like Lebron and says thats where it was when clearly you see he took half an inch more. Well I can see from reading these reviews I got ripped off. Regular men's haircut, nothing special and I get charged $41.00. It would also help if the barber that I got my cut from spoke clear English. Redhead guy, not sure if he was trying to be extremely urban or what but I had to ask "what" after most of what he said. Stopped in to get an edge up only. The barber in the middle (who didn't have anyone in his chair), told me had a customer coming. Although I understand having an appointment, I was simply asking for an edge up and a trim of my beard. The barber did agree, but he seemed apprehensive and uncomfortable. If you go to this place, stay away from David. I don't know if he doesn't know what he's doing or if he's just messing up my cut on purpose. Either way, I wouldn't let him cut my dogs ass hair. I have had my hair cut by David a few times and each time I have to tell him not to take it too high up. Does he listen? No! The last time I went, I had to tell him again, I wanted a low tapered fade, 7 on top, 1 1/2 on the side and bald tapper on the sides and neck and specifically told him not too high but the first thing he did was take the clippers and cut it like a crew cut. To make it worse, he cut one side higher than the other side. Did I mentioned that I was in and out of the chair within 15 minutes! There where people in other chairs that had already been there longer then me and I still got done before them. This guys a joke!! He should go work at Super Cuts. He would be a better fit there than a barber shop!! read more

Today was my second attempt to try to get my haircut at this place. I had some free time so just walked in, there were 4 barbers on duty a d I asked the guy in the middle of the wait time was long and he said "no, not at all" I sat down and there were two ppl ahead of me but shouldn't be a problem bc there's 4 barbers and they looked like they were either almost done or half way through the cut of the ppl in their chairs. I sat in my chair for over 45 minutes just waiting as well as the guy next to me. I have never been to a barber shop that takes over 30 minutes to get a fade. I completely understand getting the cut right but wow 45 minutes and they were half way done when I walked in lol... Again this was my second attempt the first time I went in and waited forever bc ppl with "appointments" would walk in and skip the line but it just seemed like they were cool with the barber. I wanted to give an HONEST review on The Barbers Chair. It seems like some people get a little confused when they come here. So I'm going to break down my experiences with the shop. So I've been going to the same barber for the past 3 years (Miguel, highly recommended). Never have I once had an issue with the price, the time of my cut, or the Customer service from any of the other barbers. When it comes to prices, I personally don't have an issue paying $25+ for a CLEAN haircut. Imagine going somewhere and paying $10 for a cut and you hate it...that's what you should expect for $10. You're paying for a quality cut, period, point, blank. In regards to time, anyone with a little bit of sense should know that making an appointment (anywhere you go) would be the easiest in and out way as possible. It take 2 minutes to make an appointment with your choice of barber, and no wait time once you get to the barbershop. I see a few people in here are complaining about "customer service", when in all actuality, each and everyone of these barbers are respectful to the guest that call or walk thru those doors, when it comes to walk ins and it looks like " they don't wanna take you", you gotta think about their appointment they're trying to work around to cater to YOU. Recently moved to Texas and this is my go to spot for haircuts. The ambience chill and comfortable, especially with the modern interior and open space. You do have to make an appointment ahead of time online and I wouldn't recommend a walk in because of how busy everyone is. I showed Alfredo a video of a new haircut I wanted to try and he nailed it.
